I have a different stump bucket, but I found a technique that seemed to help me. I left the trees a little taller than you did when I cut them, probably 4-5 feet tall. Then I could choose to dig around / under the stump and also pry against it to wiggle it loose. Once I started doing it that way they started coming out much easier and quicker. Also if I do them when the ground is moist they come out even easier yet.
A couple of years ago I cut down a few trees and cut them with around a meter to spare. I paid for a fellow with an excavator to do some work on my place, including removing stumps. He said the higher cut gave him good leverage over the stump making it much easier remove the stumps.
Tree stumps are no joke I got a little next gen Cat 301.7 excavator, very powerful for its size and weight but sometimes the ones you think will come easy really give you hell
Here’s my land clearing video for this part of the property ua-cam.com/video/dvAl4xLyqoc/v-deo.htmlsi=KmPFyDvfj0uLKdYl

I’ll have to give that a try, thanks!

Thanks for sharing this video episode. It really helped me make a decision on whether to buy a stump bucket or not. Tim in Northern TN
Glad it was helpful! What did you decide? Thanks for watching, Tim!
@@MowSowGrow3 I think it would be better to get a tree puller. Tim
@@CliffsideStables I’ve used one at work, very handy piece of equipment, I think you’ll be happy with it
Great video is this the 18”” or 27” from good works
@@joejansen6465 thank you! It’s the 18”

Absolutely, some are so stubborn
Why not just chain up to it and pull it out?
I tried that before I got the stump bucket and it didn’t work all that well
What about chain and old wheel trick? Seems to work on other videos
