Just because it's the way it's always been doesn't mean I can

The more that people tell me to grow up and get over it the bigger the sickness in my head gets, and the more my despair grows overseeing other people achieve amazing creative dynamic lives and celebrating together, while I waste away and I'm told that I'm not meant for anything more than this. every miserable person in America is in the same boat as me, but I despise them for telling me that there's nothing else that I can do about it, and I can't stand the sickness in my head.
