Sorry to see you getting rid of your factory AC. You must live where it's not to hot in the summer or a race car. I tell people time and time again, that they will drive their cars a lot more if it has AC in it, most wives or girlfriends don't really enjoy sweating when they go for a cruise. You say these old systems are inefficient, I dissgree. I have an all original 67 Dart 270 with factory air running R12 and it will freeze you out. I've had people in the back seat tell me to turn the damn AC down. Vintage Air and Classic Auto Air tell you there systems are better, they just want to empty your pockets. But its your car, think about this post when you're hot and wish you had AC, or don't drive the car because it's to hot out.
