Thanks so much for watching and for the kind words -- I also really appreciate the feedback about the onscreen graphics and measurements -- it takes quite a bit of extra time, but we want these videos to be informative for everyone, as well as put together in a concise and sensible manner. We're really looking forward to the future if all continues to go well, as we hope to find the right person(s) to help Levi and I in the office so we can be freed up to make a bunch more videos for you guys! We're so grateful for the support we've received here on our channel :)
Thanks so much for the kind words Jodie! We've never thought about a branded pointer, but you never know ;) we appreciate your support and would love it if you'd subscribe for more RV tours and also our new "Hittin' The Highway" series featuring my wife Samantha and I! You can check out the first episode in that series at the following link, and we'll have another going live today or tomorrow!: ua-cam.com/video/sfc9POYm3EM/v-deo.html Hope you enjoy, and thanks again for the kind words, definitely brightened my day! -Luke
This model (the 800x) per the manufacturer can be used in a 1/2 ton truck. I wouldn't suggest that unless you have beefed up suspension or airbags. The way this one is outfitted with the options it has on it would be more suited for a 3/4 ton truck. Their ratings are based on the base camper with no options.
Don't ever use that little window as a pass through okay there's people that got their shoulders busted broken ribs so don't ever use that sliding in the back window okay to use as a pastor because it's not made for that there's a lot of people that's been hurt because of that little window so please don't use it the windows that they have used for emergencies those are the ones you use a lot of people if you have small dogs actually use those little windows for kind of like a little security thing so the little guy can keep an eye on inside the truck and they work great for that
So why put the dump out the back like this. I would love the camper but won't buy because it won't allow to close the tailgate. I hate to take the tailgate off my brand new truck as it is extremely complicated due to all the back up cameras plus I tow a trailer and would love to leave the tailgate on just for the hitch camera.
Thanks for the comment and for watching, Richard! The truck is a Chevy Silverado 2500 -- I believe a 2007. We will have the new 2022 units coming in soon and you'll be able to watch those tours once we get them on the lot!
@@TruckandRV . . . . Lot of things I liked about that camper but a wet bath is a must for me. Wll the 2022's have a wet bath ? And where is your lot located ? Thanks much !
@@wh8085 The 2022's are supposed to have a wet bath -- however we've had them on order for almost a year now and still haven't been able to get them in....COVID has everything way backed up. We are located at 240 State Route 18 Sherwood, Ohio 43556

I used to own a Travel Lite camper. I was never impressed with the build quality. To be honest, this one looks nice, very similar to the one we had, nearly identical layout, but I see a fatal flaw. Look at 10:41 and you can see how they connect the fiberglass nose to the roof. Very sloppy workmanship.
The pointer rocked!! Had a good chuckle every time it would appear. 😂😂
True, true!! Haha.
Your pointer kept me laughing through the entire tour 🤣
Loved the on screen graphics and measurements. You and Levi are some of the best presenters out there

I wish your website had a category for slide campers like this one.
I will check into getting one added. Thanks for the feedback
Never really looked inside a truck camper there is more room than I thought 💜💚
I was surprised the first time I got in one!!
If you were surprised at that camper , google or type in YT search , Host double slide truck camper ! It will blow ya away !
Cost factor...????
Will a Tundra haul this camper?
Have you considered selling a branded pointer as merch? I just love it! And your calm voice. 😊
Nice unit, awesome storage in the bathroom!

That's a really nice rig
Anything under the mattress to help with moisture? Are they 1/2 ton truck campers?

Nice, nothing like the one I had years ago. Almost too sanitary looking, like the inside of an ambulance.
Well in the covid age if it looks sanitary like an ambulance, that's a good thing right??
@@TruckandRV Oh for sure it is!
Agree. Very sterile feel about it, and the materials and finish look cheap.

Love the new travel lite😍
We agree they are a very good looking truck camper!
Dose this one have a shower?
It's the Pointy Finger of Death!!!
I think Dr. Evil had one.
I have a Toyota tundra, will this fit? Or will I need a 3/4 quarter ton?
you might have said this but my audio is busted so I have to ask lol
@@garrettwismer7328 this one is made for a 3/4 ton. Check out their Super Lite series on travelliterv.com
I did not see the shower.
The closet hanging rod is too far back, can't hang a hanger on it with clothing.
Do you sale a trucks so I can get it all at one time. I'm asking because I'm just thinking what would be better for me.
We also get a truck every now and then. I have a really nice 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 right now.
Is there a wet bath in the toilet area?
No, it is just a toilet.
This unit will have a wet bath option in the near future.
INTERESTING!👍

I want to big my truck f350 RV 800x or 900x for buy money 💰?
Этот вариант мне тоже понравился, сколько такой стоит...?
Can you add a shower to the bathroom?
They’re making some changes and they may possibly be available next year.
It would benefit by having a wet bath. "Extended Stay"?. Not without a shower
You can get them with a shower room !
Nice set up what truck is that on ?? Thank you for the video and thumbs up.

Mickey’s, Mr. Potato Head’s, the Hamburger Helper hand - it’s been called many things, but we usually refer to it as “the Mick Stick” 😉
