- A bride who lost her father 10 years ago asked the man who received his heart to walk her down the aisle. Her father was not only there in spirit, but in heart. Jim Axelrod has more.
You know It’s bad when you start crying even BEFORE you click on the story!!
Yep
Absolutely!
Yes
Wild Mountain Gwendy soft arse - but yes I totally agree with you 😰
im ugly laugh-sobbing right now because this is so accurate
The facial expressions he makes to her and the way he talks to her make you know that he is genuinely thankful and owes his life to her father. So wholesome
The way he looks at her in that last clip is how her father would have looked at her. What a gift!
"Don't take your organs to heaven. Heaven knows we need them here."
Tottaly agree I carry a organ doner card and when my step brother passed he saved 2 lifes through organ donation
@@anthonyoliva42 God bless you and your brother my mother had open heart surgery this past Thursday, thank you God for angels like you
I'm afraid to be a donor because I've heard stories. They don't work that hard to save you if they know you're an organ donor. And if you get in an accident and your in the o.r. they literally have the organ box right there waiting Incase you don't make it. So that scared the crap out of me.
@@bluesouthpaw6326 I have friends and family who are EMT and nurses and they all say that is not true. They are trained to save lives and they do their best to do that.
If only we have organ banks in the Philippines...
Every time I see one of these stories I can't help but think about my little brother who would not be here today were it not for a very unselfish young man whose heart has been beating inside my brother's chest for 29 years. That young man saved other lives as well. His kidney's saved two more lives, his liver a fourth and his pancreas a fifth. His bone marrow saved two more lives and his lungs two more. Two little girls who were blind at birth now see. A three year old burn victim now has skin. The young lady who got one of the kidneys is now an E.R. nurse. The young man who got a new liver is a firefighter. One of the little girls who got one of his eyes now teaches art. One unselfish act, touched perhaps hundreds of lives. It was as simple as checking a box on a driver's license form. Hardly any effort at all. And yet that one young man, whose life was cut short when a truck cut off his motorcycle, is a hero.
Be a hero.
Oh my goodness, that is a true testimony of how organ donation CHANGES LIVES! God bless the memory of that donor and God bless all the recipients.
I firmly believe that regardless of faith, a bit of us lives on in the people we are closest to, and that our soul is maintained as long as we have an active impact upon the world. Even without people we are emotionally bonded to, organ donation gives us a second chance. I am on meds, and most of my organs may be useless, but I checked that box because if there is *anything* I can do with my inert meat, once it stops serving me, I'd be more than happy to contribute to the future.
Some people in my sociology class said they refused to donate their organs for religious reasons or they were worried about it hurting "their soul". But I can't imagine a greater way to give life after death than to donate your organs.
You are so right. I would imagine God is just shaking His head and saying, "You don't need a heart in your grave... or in Heaven... you only need one on earth." Ironically, these types of people are just "heartless."
God's own son came back to Him in a proper mess. Do they really think He'll mind them missing an organ or two?
Those people in your sociology class need to have their heads examined. To deny someone else to receive the gift of life is downright selfish.
What Christian religion denies the donation of an organ to help out other people who need it?!?
I've always felt religious medical suppression went against the idea of "Healing Hands" that Jesus presented. WWJD, indeed...
I'm a grouchy old man that is shedding tears.
Awww bless your heart😹♥️
You're not that grouchy❤️
I have always been, some may say, too emotional. I guess I have tried to be a hardass to fit in. I prefer my way of life. Thank you.
@@michaellake2359 even the grinch would shed a tear at this story! Also, there is no such thing as "too emotional". It's just a term people who lack emotions, use. ;)

I couldn't stop crying...... Ahhhhh 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭❤️
Me either
Me too
Thought I was the only one
I couldn't contain my tears...
Me either....

Me either bro...the manliest of tears
So who are the groucho's that gave THIS video a thumbs down? They must be the most unhappy people on the entire planet! This was a beautiful thing to do.
What a beautiful story. I was crying while watching it. My son passed away 4 years ago and we donated his corneas. I received a letter two months later telling me that two young men in the South NJ/Philadelphia area received his donation and are now able to see again. I want to get in touch with the recipients, I even have a letter written, but I start to cry every time I try to mail it to Donor for Life. This story has given me the courage to finally mail the letter. God Bless this selfless family for donating their loved one’s heart and the gentleman who received the donation. ❤️❤️
I’m so sorry for your loss :(

What a beautiful story! The way he looked at her you would think she was his daughter.
Looks like he felt it was his duty and privilege to care for her like her dad would. How precious!
when she laid her hand on his chest.... I wonder how that feels like, knowing that your deceased father's heart is in there beating.
Mr. Poopy Butthole probably pretty good knowing her father saved a live when his was abruptly ended. Cmon now use your head and stop asking stupid questions.
Meiji wow ur crazy. Why would u want to know that.
Meiji the heart thing can be donated only when life it is really gone
Except eternal life
Meiji, I asked myself the same question. I would think it would be a feeling of great joy for her, as well as a feeling of some emptiness. I think what this man did for her, coming to her wedding, was special.
Im a organ donor and I hope I can save somebody after Im gone. When my mother past we gave permission to use what they could and were notified that she gave sight to three people. The cancer destroyed the other organs but its nice to know people can see because of her.
Im sure her father would of been very happy knowing that his kindness in giving his heart was returned by the recipient for his daughters wedding day!!what a fantasic story this is,its brilliant!!
Yesterday, I signed my last will & testament, which included my organ donor wishes. Watching this video reinforces that I did the right thing. Also, a couple of friends are alive today due to organ donations.
My father was dying needing a new heart he didn't have long to live and thanks to the person who decided to be a donor my father lived another 10 years due to a different problem.. If it wasn't for the infection he would have still been here with a healthy heart, be a donor and save a life it will be one of the most important last things you ever do:-):-)
Kelly Anderson sorry bout ur dad Kelly, losing a parent can b so so hard,my dad very nearly died after a serious car crash but by some miracle he pulled through, lived for another 12 yrs b4 cancer took him but I'm still grateful that at least he had that 2nd chance b4 it was time to go,think of ur Dad always Kelly it will keep the memories strong,he loved u like a great Dad would & I'm sure he was the best Dad in the world to u,keep the head up & do him proud, take care of urself....

This world can be so cruel. And yet so amazing.
The circle was complete with his dad's vital part in that event.
So sweet and yes, everyone needs to be a donor. Life, pass it on.
What a marvellous story. It brought tears to my eyes. With dire circumstances from COVID crisis, we need uplifting stories like this
Wow, what an amazing story! How sweet of the recipient of her dad's heart to walk her down the aisle on her wedding day. Her dad WAS with her!

Bawling like a baby god bless her and god bless him as well here’s to a very long Marriage may you and your husband grow old right beside each other.
How utterly fabulous!
Totally fitting and a perfect way of honouring and thanking her dad .
Am certain he was there in spirit too. God Bless them all - this illustrates perfectly one of a multitude of reasons we should all be organ donors. ❤ Peace, love and blessings to all 🙏
Good things happen to good people. What a heart warming story.
This made me cry! My teenage nephew was given a new kidney last year, saving his life just in time. Our family can't say thank you enough to the donor / family for giving my nephew a chance to graduate from highschool, fall in love and have a future!
Am so glad he walked her down d isle , am lost for words!!!! Beautiful story
IT'S A. BEAUTIFUL REAL LIFE STORY. GOD BLESS THE COUPLE. ALSO THE GENTLEMAN WHO RECEIVE HEART FOR. HIS LIFE.

That is the sweetest story I’ve ever heard in my entire life! I’m so sorry you lost your Dad... However, l was thrilled you were able to have his heart with you when you walked on the aisle! 😢😢😢
Beautiful story. So emotional.
greatest gift ever
That is just so special..And that's why i chose to be an organ donor when i was 16 when i first got my drivers license..
Me, too!
What an amazing story but also one sad one. I am a donor and I have two friends who are recipients of livers. They are enjoying their lives. God Bless both of these families.
What a wonderful gift💕
Absolutely awesome. Love these positive stories.
I can’t stop crying with her! He must be an amazing father ❤️.
I’m not easily choked up, but this is truly one of the most touching things I’ve ever seen. What an amazing gift for both of them!! I cannot understand why people wouldn’t want to donate their loved ones organs. At least in that case, you know something good came out of your loved one dying. I haven’t lost my parents yet thankfully but my dad almost died of kidney failure a few years ago, and my mom and brother and I fully intended to donate whatever we could. It saves other people, the pain you’re going through. Who wouldn’t want to do that?? I’m just so happy she was able to have her father there in some form. What a beautiful story!
BEAUTIFUL !!!! AND YES CAPS ! x
Why am I crying? This is very emotional..
How could people dislike this
Robots
Heartless creatures that need a heart transplant
They disliked it by mistake bc they could not see clearly through the tears.... Yah believe so... 🤷
Waaaaahhhhhh.😢😢😢😢 God bless you all. 😇❤️
Words cannot even describe how touching this video is! God Bless both men involved.
That’s gorgeous ❤️
Gods lov ,protection and a strong closness continue for both of them, God bless
Can't stop crying, how beautiful!!
Lovely that this man was willing. Too many people (I come across) are uptight and act weird about things like this. This is a NORMAL and loving thing to do, but some people.....
The most wonderful gift 💝 of life beautiful 😭 my eyes out
This is so neat that she had her dad's heart at her wedding and to have Arthur walk her down the aisle.😎
It's almost like witnessing the resurrection of a loved one.

Absolutely beautiful.......God bless all of you.
his dimples 😍
What a beautiful moment. I cried as I watched it.
Felt to me as if her father was present at her wedding, a piece of her father this man carries inside of his chest, a piece of him that continues to live, I’m convinced the feelings and emotions this man felt towards her, were exactly how her father would have felt, him looking at her as if her father was back to life for a short time to be with his little girl for her most important moment of her life, I’m convinced her father was truly there with his soul and consciousness, life and death is a mystery, something that tells us that death is not the end of story but the beginning of a true life, where no death no pain or sorrow and no separation from our loved ones. Until we meet again. Thanks for the hero that saved this man’s life giving him another chance to live life and also much respect and love for the recipient. Use the gift of life well.
Beautiful story God Bless Them
