I see some similarities between Queen Katharine and Princess Diana. As in the words of the late Princess, both the late Queen and Diana “always had a marriage consisting of three people”. Both great women managed to be the Queen of their people, the queen of their people’s hearts.
Henry never deserved any of the wives he got....Catherine of Aragon was a wonderfull queen and a beloved mother....Anne Boleyn was a free spirit and decided woman....Jane Seymour was a kind soul and a beautifull girl...Anne of Cleves was an intelligent noble and pretty young lady....Catherine Howard was a childish and lovely little girl....Catherine Parr was a wise and loyal woman.....Henry never deserved them
If it wasn't for her voice breaking I wouldn't have known she was upset. And then when she was supposed to be heartbroken in the two scenes where she lost her son's they had to darken the screen. I don't think this actress was very good at portraying emotion. I think she's very beautiful and now she knows it I thought that's all she needed to do was look beautiful. I was so disappointed I had anticipated the show. A lot of good acting but not from her.
Catherine stopped the Scots from taking over England while being 7 months pregnant. She fought for her people and protected them what a great queen would of done and while Henry was away playing war with the french what did he expect her to do ?. Everyone knew Catherine was the daughter of two greatest monarchs this world had ever seen so if she was captured god knows what would of happened to her. Henry didn’t deserve this brave,wonderful and loyal woman or any of his wives.
It's been a long time since this show ended and I'm still crying. This story breaks my heart. Catherine is incredible, she is the true queen of England. She doesn't deserve what she's been through. Charlotte Hope is very good at this role. Also this video ... I start to cry when I think about it. It is really very good and beautiful. Thanks for this.
She was a great Queen who fighted for her rights. Not for nothing she was the younger daughter of Isabella I of Castile, the most important Queen in Spain's history.

I kept waiting for some facial expression some acting. I remember watching season 2 and on one episode she finally moved and eyebrow! Other than looking beautiful the acting was pretty boring. Luckily she had to move her mouth during filming or we'd never know if she was feeling anyting. how she played Katherine was a big disappointment. I don't know if it was her or the director. whenever she would play an emotionally devastating scene where her babies died the screen was dark and so you couldn't really see her face. Almost as if they knew the actress wouldn't be able to convey that emotion on screen. But there was a lot of good actors in the show. The actresses that played Margaret Tudor and Margaret Pole worth fantastic!!!! If only they've gotten someone that looked a little more alive instead of just beautiful to play Catherine.
