Maybe Andros and Zhane could’ve been special rangers who were lost and beaten on a planet. And Astronema could’ve been kidnapped and mind controlled by divatox to be her second in command
Well technically they were in the first ep of space Andros mentioned that there was a hierarchy of power ranger teams, and Earth’s were just “planetary “ rangers, something that seems to have been glossed over since then , but could have opened up some more storylines and used footage from pre Zyuranger teams
What I didn’t like about Rangers in space is that they never settle the score with divatox, They never really used this alliance of evil properly, they never resolved any of the mysteries from turbo not really (i.e. the blue centurion, and Demetria’s sister), there was also no explanation as to why Dark Spector looked so much like Malagor. There was Divatox mentioning the likeness, but that is it. Also I didn’t like how TJ was the first African-American to lead the Power Rangers team, and then they demote him from red ranger to blue ranger.
well I mean as much as it sucked, it would've never fit the storyline. Andros was already the red space ranger, heck the turbo rangers didn't even have their powers anymore, that would've been messed up to have T.j be the red space ranger when Andros is already it. Plus I think they did a good job with T.J as the blue ranger and gave him a lot more authority as a blue ranger then I've seen in Pr Blue ranger history. Stop putting Race into everything and I'm black.
Weird how they didn't consider turning Phantom into the Silver Ranger. Reveal his identity and give him a power boost. I am happy with what we got ultimately, though I do wish TJ was made the Black Ranger, if just because Mega Black was the leader in the Sentai and it would've made sense since TJ was the Turbo's leader (though I get why they chose not to since Saban got a lot of flack for Zack & Trini).
@Patrick Zalatoris Walter Jones just did a live stream on the Power Rangers Playback channel with Cathrine Sutherland (Kat) and Nakia Burise (Tanya) and said that it was a coincidence that those were Zack and Trini's given colors but said that it simply doesn't matter and was happy and honored to be the first black ranger. I'm sure Thuy Trang would have felt the same about being the first yellow ranger.
The MMPR Yellow ranger was more or so coincidence after the original actress was let go due to pay disputes, They had to apologize to the actors for after filming a lot of episodes.
Read about this a while ago! Crazy how different things could've been Edit: Maybe the silver ranger, as Zhane, would've still appeared but not frozen and actually defending planets far out under Zordon while the events on Earth happened. Also there's rumors that the Phantom ranger had his identity revealed in Space, so what it the Phantom Ranger was Andros all along?
We only ever got 1 definitive clue to the Phantom-rangers identity during his first appereance during In Space. He is apperently mechanical and/or a cyborg because when we see a heavy wound he recieved we didn't see eitehr blood or anything but just cables and inside electronics. That's why, as a kid, I theorized he might've been an evolution of the concept of the Alpha-robots who could actually fight.
Justin was the best, and I'm sad we only got him for 1 season and the one In Space episode. Justin staying the Blue Space ranger would have been best, because I do absolutely agree with TJ staying Red.
It definitely would have been cool if TJ stayed as the Red Ranger. But it worked out, he was still basically second in command when Andros was away. Almost like Captain Kirk and Spock. That's how I took it.

Same elements would’ve been cool to integrate into what we already got like the whole “Citizen Police” force idea with Bulk & Skill. Justin could’ve even been one to spearhead as a leader/Ranger. Also, more phantom ranger would’ve been great too!
it’d be kinda cool to see justin come back. he somehow had his powers back during in space, so it’d be a neat concept if he was doing stuff as a solo ranger.
Honestly, it was better off as they did it. Unless they ended up having a reason as to why Justin could no longer be the Blue Ranger and Andros became a replacement for Justin due to all the traveling and then they could have had the first season of Mega Rangers as a stopping Divatox season. Doing that, that could still have had the Bulk and Skull development, introduced Astronoma, and Zhane and then had a 2nd season of Mega Rangers where Astronoma, fighting for the main big bad, replaces Divatox and then do the whole Power Rangers In Space story, including Astronoma becoming good and then getting mind controlled. It honestly would have been the best of both worlds had they done that.
Of course we didn't get to see this idea for PRiS on TV, but I think what we actually got was the better plan for that season. I only wish we could have had more appearances from previous Rangers since it was essentially Power Rangers Endgame.
I love the interesting original concept for Power Rangers in Space , but the final product was still just as good. It was also cool seeing Justin return. Maybe he could've been the Billy of the team and he would've departed when he wanted to spend time with his dad like in "True Blue To the Rescue".
Technically Lost Galaxy would have been the last season with a direct link to a previous one since it had alpha 6 and the astro Mega ship as main parts of the story

in space i wish we had seen more of the old villains out side of the first and last episodes yes we had divatox but it whould of been nice to have one episode with rita and zed and king mondo and his court to help set up the big epic team up and attack story at the end
I think In Space was the 'cleaner break' they needed to bring disillusioned fans back on board (myself included). I can't help but think carrying on with the Turbo style would have felt more like Megaforce to Super Megaforce.
I would have really liked this storyline. First I always hated that the first time a black dude gets to lead the team he loses and it was made worse when he was demoted to blue ranger because he didn't get the chance to redeem himself like both Jason and Tommy had before him. Next this would have been a perfect time to finish the Phantom Ranger storyline. We never got a conclusion to that so it seems more likely that we would if he's a big part of the plot. Lastly Andros could have been the Silver ranger allowing then to still us the brother sister storyline. Infact Astronama could have been the replacement villain after the team defeats Devatox.
@@manuelorozco7760 easily they travel to new galaxies and discover new threats and civilizations, team up with other ranger teams across the universes, gain new power ups, ship and megazord upgrades. Think of it basically like Star Trek meets power rangers.
This may just be a rumour but I remember seeing something many years ago about a ranger concept that would have had the child of a former ranger coming back in time to lead a team of Rangers might have been in early concept for time force but I don't really know
I am glad they went with Andros since his one of my favorite Red Ranger but is it also Lost Galaxy also kinda continuation when Leo knows of power rangers and when Alpha 6 appears with the Astro ship helping the ranger a numerous occasion, plus knowing of Andros and Karone especially whom she become pink Galaxy (which give her redemption)
When i first found out what happened in Lost Galaxy, it gave me motivation to watch In Space on Netflix. And Karone's transformation was why i needed to see Lost Galaxy for myself.
Blake Foster played Justin in Power Rangers Turbo back in the day when he was a kid and now he is older but unfortunately he has only been in Turbo since the old days and I think he took Rocky's spot for good reason in the movie itself and then they kept him for the longest period of time
Srsly though..Goldgoyle LOOKS like an Evil Zordon which is why he fits perfectly as a final boss type villain despite him being a villain from Carranger. Still yeah, that alternate universe would be interesting to see.
I like the intended build up to this version of PRiS... much more dramatic and suspenseful... but losing Andros and Astronema wouldn't have been worth it...
I like what we ended up getting much better. I agree that a second season of Turbo would have been nice. I also wanted more Phantom Ranger development and I feel they could have benefited from having a 4 episode departure between Turbo and in Space. This could have allowed more of an explanation for what happened to the Turbo powers and made the transition feel less rushed. They could have had Andros meet with the Phantom Ranger and had him give Andros the message to locate the remaining Turbo rangers and give them morphers. He could have referred his previous team and expressed disdain and then been encouraged to do so anyways for Zordon. From then forward every 4 to 6 episodes we could have the Phantom Ranger contact the ship or Andros on Zordon's location etc. The Phantom Ranger could be essentially spying and watching while the rest pursue as well as protect space. Justin could have decided on his own to leave the team when Andros comes because of the amount of morphers and him wanting to protect earth. Bulk and Skull could have maybe been given some makeshift Beta morphers as they proved themselves on more than one occasion to the rangers. This could be powers that don't always work well and so they could have still served as comic relief but also been capable of helping. And the threats in Earth would be a lot less and the rangers could return if needed so Justin plus the makeshift Bulk and Skull might have been enough. We could plan back to earth every 2 or 3 episodes for clips of them defending Earth from smaller scale weaker attempts from much lesser threats that could be ended in a total of 5 mins or less of screen time. I would have preferred that and it would have made a lot more sense. I would have even been okay with like 4 or 5 episodes spaced out across each season that has a good ten mins if Bulk, Skull and Justin protecting earth giving them reoccurring roles but smaller separate plots from the Space Rangers. They also could have tied in some if the plots to larger plots. The powers of Bulk and Skull could short circuit towards the end of In Space and Justin could go all out and risk it all protecting Earth and win his final battle of the series before demorphing and nearly dying all to give the In Space Rangers a fighting chance as the series wraps up before Lost Galaxy picks up. Justin could be seen in a flash forward or perhaps a ep 1 if Lost Galaxy flashback as surviving and being fine and could be seen doing charity at an event to unveil a monument to Zordon on Earth and an explanation to the public as to who he is and what all he did for earth and they could even choose from a few different characters as to the source of who informed the public. I am okay with what we got but I feel some of what I suggest might have made the transition as well as Turbo in general flow a lot better. Also it would be nice for a canon explanation if the Masked rider or the Beetleborgs get their power from the Morphing grid..
That definitely would've been interesting to see, but I think that the story plot that they went with was okay? But if I could've changed some things in the series... I probably would.
I think it would be so cool to see a comic that ties in where Justin as the Blue Turbo Ranger and the Zeo Rangers are during countdown to destruction I’ve always liked the idea that fans floated that Zordon basically choose a new team but had a sleeper team of rangers still ready to jump into action if the earth needed more back up
Even if that happened we wouldn't have gotten forever red. Think about that, Also its not a bad idea either. That plot from going into Turbo to In Space was great. I wanted to see more Justin because he was my favorite ranger in Turbo

TJ still lead the team in some battles even when Andros was present. He even led some Megazord calls. He led when Zhane was present
TJ was Andros's Second Command.
@@isaacogunmuko3947 Ik that
@@isaacogunmuko3947In some ways, TJ was still leader and Andros was like a field commander
@@user-ks8kn4hx8q TJ took the lead sometimes. That's what Power Ranger second commanders do.
I like what we did get but I mean, this idea of TJ staying red is pretty cool as well.
Ditto. When I first saw the promo back in the day, I though TJ was still gonna be red until Andros showed up.
That Red Hair Doe!!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Power Rangers in Space was hands down the best season!
Time force
@@damienvoltaire5626 Very very overhyped.
No the mighty morphin power rangers series was the best
@@tonyacosta4574 time force and lightspeed rescue
Space, L.S.R, Time Force in that order.
in space i wish we had seen more of the old villains out side of the first and last episodes yes we had divatox but it whould of been nice to have one episode with rita and zed and king mondo and his court to help set up the big epic team up and attack story at the end
dude I just realized ya upgraded your camera quality. nice.
That Jason David Frank was not coming Back as Tommy for the White Ranger and it was the lead guy in VP Troopers
There are some cool elements to the show we didn't get but overall I'm glad we got the season of In Space
Justin not been a power ranger in space because he want to stay dad for reasons
The best plot since all the villains came together, would had been the Power rangers Hexagon plot
Did we ever find out what happened with Andros' original team?
I think In Space was the 'cleaner break' they needed to bring disillusioned fans back on board (myself included). I can't help but think carrying on with the Turbo style would have felt more like Megaforce to Super Megaforce.
Nice hair Este. It would have been interesting to see more of TJ as a leader and more Phantom Ranger.
Tj and Justin was done wrong in my opinion. But in space was good,
Instead of Justin being the blue ranger it would be funny if Skull was the blue ranger and Bulk was the silver ranger.
I have one idea. Andros as the Gold Ranger, Karone as the Purple Ranger, Zhane as the Silver Ranger and Astronema turns out to be Karone's evil clone
I do wish Divatox would have been in In Space more, I also wish that In Space would have gotten 3 seasons
I'm having trouble picturing 3 seasons
@@manuelorozco7760 3 seasons would had been great
@@user-ks8kn4hx8q But how
But yes I too wish Divatox was more involved
@@manuelorozco7760 easily they travel to new galaxies and discover new threats and civilizations, team up with other ranger teams across the universes, gain new power ups, ship and megazord upgrades. Think of it basically like Star Trek meets power rangers.
I like the way it turned out. The only thing I wish they could change was to develop the phantom ranger character better than what we got.
If the shirt would of been orange and white striped, then you would look like Phineas Flynn.
10:24 say that 5 times fast. Recharge the Rangers Weapons
Rumor says that they wanted Billy to become the newest Zordon after Zordon died. Making him the newest mentor for the following series. 👀
I would Billy to mentor a new team of Rangers too
This aged well
This may just be a rumour but I remember seeing something many years ago about a ranger concept that would have had the child of a former ranger coming back in time to lead a team of Rangers might have been in early concept for time force but I don't really know
It’s cool that Justin did come back to save his friends for that one episode.
Andros is arguably the top 3 best red rangers ever . Him not being in the series would have ruined everything
This!
Amit Bhaumik’s Power Rangers Hexagon, Amit Bhaumik’s (Original) Power Rangers Samurai, & Amit Bhaumik’s Power Rangers Cyber Corps. Anyone! 😉
Why is your background so much better in this video than all your other videos
The new set up is so much better
I am glad they went with Andros since his one of my favorite Red Ranger but is it also Lost Galaxy also kinda continuation when Leo knows of power rangers and when Alpha 6 appears with the Astro ship helping the ranger a numerous occasion, plus knowing of Andros and Karone especially whom she become pink Galaxy (which give her redemption)
When i first found out what happened in Lost Galaxy, it gave me motivation to watch In Space on Netflix. And Karone's transformation was why i needed to see Lost Galaxy for myself.
Blake Foster played Justin in Power Rangers Turbo back in the day when he was a kid and now he is older but unfortunately he has only been in Turbo since the old days and I think he took Rocky's spot for good reason in the movie itself and then they kept him for the longest period of time
I would like to see this as a comic. But I'm glad we got what we got. Andros is my favorite PR character and favorite Red ranger
I’d thought the same way as a kid. I’d too envisioned TJ still a red ranger & Justin coming along still blue ranger.
I can't understand how Zordon a being of good can be captured and powers drained he is the ultimate power ranger
YOOOOOO my man looking like he about to lead a team of rangers :D
Im digging the Background bro! I know you've been on your Music grind too
you know the vibes ✍️
I love the theme song from in space how is it so good and also thank you Este for the best content ❤❤❤❤
True unless Andros was the Gold Ranger and Karone was the Purple Ranger
Selwyn Ward ... THE FIRST BLACK LEADER OF THE POWER RANGERS 🎶
🤣🤣🤣
I'm glad it stuck with Andros as red ranger.
Nice rocking the red hair look
so if this actually happened Justin would have met the galaxy rangers
You sir.......YOU SIR........HAVE TRULY EARNED MY SUBSCRIPTION here and now.....fantastic work on this video. Will Certainly be sharing your work 😀
thank u :)
@@hiEste you're most welcome, please keep up the fantastic work!
Amazing video
Also it would be nice for a canon explanation if the Masked rider or the Beetleborgs get their power from the Morphing grid..
my bass being on the wall behind you kinda counts as my first este video appearance
That definitely would've been interesting to see, but I think that the story plot that they went with was okay? But if I could've changed some things in the series... I probably would.
The Bulk and Skull stuff and them showing them catching Zordon would have been cool but the rest I'm glad they had as is.
Let's go early squad. Also love the red hair. Keep up the great work
I think it would be so cool to see a comic that ties in where Justin as the Blue Turbo Ranger and the Zeo Rangers are during countdown to destruction I’ve always liked the idea that fans floated that Zordon basically choose a new team but had a sleeper team of rangers still ready to jump into action if the earth needed more back up
That and maybe us military during the finale but have them overpowered.
Even if that happened we wouldn't have gotten forever red. Think about that, Also its not a bad idea either. That plot from going into Turbo to In Space was great. I wanted to see more Justin because he was my favorite ranger in Turbo
I hated Justin. I see no reason why they made a child ranger.
Same here, he was an inspiration to me as a kid.
He was my favorite Turbo Ranger too. But I preferred Carlos in Black over Green
My favorite thing about thing about Power Rangers in Space is their impact on the later episodes of Power Rangers Lost Galaxy
That's what motivated me to watch both seasons
Loving the hair bro 😎
watching este vids at work 🥰
Slick new style bro!
0:08 my reaction when I saw your hair
love ur vids king
This man went full Ronald McDonald.
You never go full Ronald. 🤣
Andros could've been the Silver Ranger, if TJ was still the Red Ranger.
Andros could have been the 6th ranger and the brother/sister storyline could still be .
I have an idea. Andros as the Gold Ranger, Karone as the Purple Ranger and Zhane as the Silver Ranger
