I remember seeing the guys on March 27th 1987 in Rosemont IL for the very 1st time, and it looked just like this. I remember them doing this song, and boy does it bring back good memories! I'd give anything to do it all over again.

Hayes is an underrated guitarist if I've ever seen one. He has some excellent solos. This song and Power of Love come to mind.

This and Jacob's Ladder are so underrated. Apparently it hit #9 in 1987 but literally nobody knows about it, while others like "Stuck with you" and "I want a new drug" have become stapes of adult contemporary and classic rock radio

I was personally insulted when Chris was not mentoned in a Rock top 25 Guitarists. He out rips evereyone! Only Sonny Landreth could possibly be better. Fretting, Picking, both together. As Godenov said in a Barishnokov roast..." We're out there dancing. I could not tell you what he's doing. Chris stands head and shoulders above all else!!!

I know I like seeing Joe and Dwight anytime. It was my birthday, Jan 10, 1982 when the stick rocked like never before. NFC Championship vs Dallas Cowboys. The last two minutes of a nail biting game was, in my humble opinion, the best birthday present I have ever received. Joe drops back with heavy rush from Cowboys. Here comes Ed To Tall Jones right for Joe. He pumps left then right. As he is about to go down, he throws with everything he had including a little mustard. In the end zone, Dwight is covered and with nowhere else to go but up, the ball arrives at exactly the precise time Dwight reaches out and,...? What? You don't know how this ended. Geez. Okay, it sealed the lead and would forevermore be known as, The Catch. It was the best birthday of my life! So, when I say, I know what I like, you will know too. Thank you Huey. I never get tired of watching this video. It's a classic. Joe Montana rules!

I wish you'd release these classic concerts on dvd/blu-ray in a box set. If your record company has no interest, fuck 'em. Use your own production company. Make a batch of 10,000 and sell them at your shows. People would love to relive the magic of the 80's when they were young, healthy, & happy. I would pay top dollar for a box set of these old shows. Do it!

It was in San Francisco, hence the 49ers on vocals in the back.
Not sure of the date but it was certainly in 1987.
Yes, this all of the “original” band members, as in the ones from the first 6 albums: Huey Lewis and the News, Picture This, Sports, Fore, Small World and Hard at Play.
Plus special guests, the horn section from Tower of Power, The San Francisco 49ers and a special appearance by the band’s drum machine.

Though I was 99.9% sure it wouldn't be, I was hoping this might be a cover of I Know What I Like by Genesis. It definitely would have been interesting to hear Huey and The News do it.
