- I show you how to fix a black screen issue on the Samsung Galaxy Tab S8, S8+ and S8 Ultra. Your issue is its a black screen the display just does not turn on even-though you know the tablet is on. I give you several easy fixes (no need taking tablet apart). Note that this will only help about 70% of you if you tried every step at least 7 times. Let us know which step worked for you. Good Luck!

mine was battery drained. Solution was to hold power for 30 seconds, then charge it. When I plugged it in, it showed it was charging but no number. It showed numbers after a few minutes.

Hi I have a Tab A SM-P205 -I was about to throw this tablet away after not using it for over 10 months and I could not boot it up - found your youtube video -and tried all your steps but no good except the last option - I put it in the freezer for 30 minutes and rebooted it with the Power Button and volume down switch and it booted up. 👍👍 that was yesterday and today after a long full charge it is running smooth as ever. Thank you for saving my oldie - looks like I can keep it for a backup for a few more years. I am now subscribed 😬!!

I was working on a screen replacement on my galaxy s7 tab SM-T870 and when I decided to test if the new acquired screen was working properly all I had was a frustrating black screen. However, I noticed that the sounds of notifications were being reproduced normally and so immediately, I decided to put the previous screen back to give it a try as my first thought was "probably this new screen is faulty" I got surprised as the original display did not turn on too. So that all just to say that after trying the first solution on this video: pressing the power button + volume down (I had to keep it pressed for almost a minute) it worked, the device was working beautfully again! Tthanks for sharing it. =)

The power+volume down is all I needed.
Battery was not dead, screen was black & nonresponsive.
I did not hold until the Samsung logo.
I held until it vibrated, after maybe 5secs the logo appeared & the reboot initiated.

This tablet is a problem I put the tablet for 12 to 13 minutes I did turn on I was happy after I 12 seconds of usage I heard a weird fan noise from the back and I went back again same problem I won't turn

I have the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite and the mysteriously started doing this on 5/29/24. It's now 6/2/24 and I've done the volume down button and power button combo, and still no luck! Thank you so much for sharing this video. I do have a weak charger, so maybe a new one may help OR it probably just needs to be taken to the repair shop. But that makes me mad honestly because I can't get to one right this minute and I dont have any money! It's a huge inconvenience for me. 🥺😔

Today my screen randomly turned off, used the video to help me. I could hear the charger sound, but screen wouldn't turn on. Took off the cover and held power + volume down button for 40 seconds. After that tablet restarted, but all my apps and folders were still open. Thanks!

My tab S8 ultra been working perfectly since I bought it at release, then today I try to turn it on and nothing. I assumed it was dead so I plug it in and it vibrates, and I realized it's still on. I thought maybe someone put it down too hard and damaged the display inside, I was so upset. Then this video show me how to factory reset and it's fine!
