Just some feedback about Spigen: Multiple people who ordered their Tab S8 Ultra screen protector on Amazon received used products that had previously had the film lifted and re-attached. When I ordered one, I received a box that had been opened but the glass itself looked untouched. After applying it, I found that it didn't sit flat on the bottom left corner due to a defect in the glass (it wasn't cut correctly, or it's not perfectly flat for some other reason), so it lifts up a little there. When I went back on Amazon to request a replacement, I found it was no longer available on Amazon, so I contacted Spigen directly asking for a replacement directly from them. After sending a photo of the issue, they agreed to send me a replacement, but then 3 days later, they emailed me saying that they were out of stock and didn't know when they'd be back in stock (making it sound like they were going to be out for quite some time). Due to this, they told me that they have decided to refund me on Amazon instead and did so. Only THREE days later, I found that the item was available on Amazon again, SHIPPED AND SOLD by Spigen directly, but now listed at a much higher price than I had originally paid. Essentially they're forcing me to buy it at a higher price now. When I emailed them back to point this out, they gave me a non-answer about how Amazon is a competitive marketplace, and that prices may change (refusing to acknowledge that just days ago they were acting like they're not going to see new stock for ages and refunded me without my consent). When I tried to point this out again, they stopped responding to me, and it's now been almost a week with 0 word from them. I just feel that people should know this.

Hello from Germany. I also ordered the Spigen Screen Protector EZ FIT GLAS from Amazon. An already opened item was delivered. The entire packaging was badly damaged. One of my few returns. I couldn't accept that.
Another shout out for the Spigen. I put it on with a warm shower running in the background to minimize dust and this worked well. Fingerprint sensor and a-pen works great! The guide tray works much better than taped hinges method. Be sure to check out a how to video before trying applying it for the first time. It could save you some headaches.

Bought Pro Case 2-pack off Amazon has been great so far. Fits the screen+notch like a glove. Paid around $19 on sale. I usually love Spigen, but, $50 for 1-pack protecter is ridiculous.
'Screen plus notch' My screen protector has a notch cut out on one of the long sides, but I can't see where it is supposed to fit on the screen. You obviously had no problem. Please help.

I bought the Better Future glass because it was supposed to be cut short for case compatability, but on my Supcase Unicorn Beetle case it still went under the frame and cause all sorts of corner bubble issues. Its like sized for a thin hardcase with minimal real protection, not a proper protective case. Really disappointing because its perfect otherwise, but thanks to this amazing review video of basically most of the popular ebay and amazon screen protectors I have decided to buy the ProCase one with the affiliate link instead. Amazingly helpful review. I know this full coverage protector will go all the way under, but I know itll fit the Better Future which is half under and puts pressure on the corners, so given that nobody cuts a glass with that much relief, this is the next best choice. Im relieved the Unicorn Beetle case has just barely enough tolerance to fit over glass anyway.

I have used Better future on my S22 Ultra Samsung phone and its great. but Spigen glastr Protector I will go with for my S8 tablet Ultra installation material was excellent and easy.
All of these must be good for protecting from scratches, but I had the SuperShieldz and the tablet fell 2 ft. The screenprotector is undamaged. The tablet was ruined and had to be replaced. The protector did not seem to absorb any of the shock. Guess I will spend the extra money and get the Spigen
I have the better future, seems okay, with a case on there is the tiniest bit exposed, so it's fine for now, I want to find a liquid adhesion one though
I have always used Spigen neo flex on my phones because it's a wet application that makes it so much easier to get it lined up right but they don't have one for the Galaxy tab S8 Plus
@@HighTechCheck I ended up getting the Spigen tempered glass screen protector and the alignment tool sucks I've done this a lot and I know how to do it and I had to lift it off and try it again but thankfully since I filled the bathroom up with steam from the shower there was no dust particles on the second application that trick really works.
I was lucky enough to get the Whitestone Dome tempered glass protector off of Amazon before they sold out and it's great! Would like to see the drop test on this one if you can find one ;)
I keep seeing you push the power button to turn off the screen. just in case you don't know, you can double-tap the home screen/lock screen to turn the screen off. :)
Some of the screen protectors have a notch cut out, on one of the long sides and some don't. You don't seem to mention it when installing. I can't see where it is supposed to line up on the screen. Please help.
I have a tab S3 (2017 device) without any screen protector and itˋs still immaculate, even though I handwrite in my digital planner and draw and paint in Infinite Painter everyday! Honestly, does the S8 Ultra really need a screen protector???
sadly the screen reflects light like a mirror. So unless you wanna look at yourself every time you dare use the tablet in daylight, you need a matte screen protector. Which is sad, especially considering the price of the tablet.
the point of a screen protector is for the glass not to crack and the lcd not break the test was unrealistic u didn’t drop the tablet well it’s also good to know if a screen protector can survive a metal ball
@@mvevitsis According to Samsung the tips on this s pen aren't replaceable. I also saw a video of someone trying to get the tip out and couldn't. Since I haven't seen one for myself yet I don't know if they changed something on the pen or if that guy just wasn't trying hard enough to get the tip out.
As others have said, please test the whitestone dome glass protector, particularly against the spigen, if you get a chance. Especially since Spigen hasn't restocked their Amazon store in weeks and their protector is ridiculously overpriced on their site. Whitestone is currently selling their S8U protectors on their site for only $20, and it comes with an installation tool.

I have the first one you showed in the brown box and it works great, didn't have any issues with getting a broken one and it fits perfect.

You should be using the hinge method for all film type screen protectors. Use 3m scotch tape to make your hinge.

Use a cardboard box with cut hand holes inside a clear plastic bag to avoid dust particles. Not perfect unless you add an air filter to the setup..

Is it true that the matt screen will eat up the rubberised nib of the s-pen.
There's extra friction so yeah it will wear faster. If that wear will be noticable is a different story.
You can replace the tips on the s pen

It doesn't sadly. But the S21 Ultra phone did come with a pre installed protector.
