It's been a couple months now since I've bought this tablet and it is great. ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxLNmVocUk8tnSkwWIlYSNFzWRIaFTBuzS The tablet is responsive and runs well. There were a few times that the tablet did an awkward thing where it would detect pen on at all times and wouldn't register finger press, but it is usually fixed by closing and opening either the screen or app. This is highly likely due to my excessive use for drawing which caused this and wasn't really very big. As I mostly enjoy using the tablet for drawing (and some light gaming), I would comment from that aspect that there is definitely more accurate pressure and drawing using a PC device and drawing tablet, however i find the moveablity of the tablet more enjoyable to draw on. Like how you can physically rotate and move a piece of paper around or even draw casually on your bed.All in all, as a tablet it is good, and as a drawing device can be good depending on what you want from a drawing device. It is definitely good enough if you just want to use it to take notes. For typing though I can't comment on the keyboard as I did not get the keyboard.
Excellent tutorial. I had to disconnect the back and luckily had previously purchased a Kaisi tool kit. It makes a huge difference having the tools. Disconnecting the connectors and reconnecting them was the trick that worked to get our Samsung Tablet functioning again. Thank you so very much. 😊

Having tried all of the button combinations several times I still couldn't get the tablet out of 'Black screen of death' - I could hear noises, volume button was audible but still nothing. Followed these instructions and removed the cover and removed/replaced cables as in video and the tablet is now back up and working. Thanks for sharing this.

Thanks! This was perfect and fixed my problem. Just one suggestion to anyone else following the hardware fix. When putting the back cover back on, start wherever it was hardest to get it off. I tried to start pressing at the top and had to take the back cover off again. The toughest are was near the home button, so I started there the second time and got it on right away.

My wife has an old Samsung S2 tablet. It had black screen and wouldn't start up. I assumed the battery was dead and didn't even show a charge when plugged in. I followed this Ultimate Guide as instructed and it started up and it still had 73% charge left. Holding the power button and volume down button for 10-15 seconds as suggested by others did not work in my situation. Thank you from my wife and I.

This is the only time I have been able to get my tablet back on after taking it apart & unconnecting the battery 3times,LCD cable 2times,& for the 1st time from your video,I finally tried the home screen one last. I put them all back 2gether after a couple of min.& was not expecting it to work really,but after I pushed power then nothing,I did a vol.+power (20th time prob.to try that),& it came on! Wasn’t it. I ruined all my plastic spudgers but that’s what they are for. To break before the device. Took three hours. Got one side off then couldn’t get the other. I was being so gentle but gentle got me nowhere. Funny how easy it snaps back together. Two seconds. I also thoroughly cleaned all my plastic corners and joints with a toothpick and IPA. That might have been why so hard to take apart for me.

@@roberttennant6282 If you are saying the screen looks good before you try to open an app? That should be a software issue. Not hardware.
I fixed my KSOD (K is borrowed from the printing industry for "black") on my LG Stylo 5 Plus by running a plastic spudger down one side of the case; not opening the case wide open, just relieving a little bit of the pressure the back is applying to the innards.
Some phones can be resurrected by squeezing them like the videos sometimes show, while some-*like mine*-get fixed by releasing and relieving pressure on the insides. Applying more or less pressure, it's about an *open* somewhere in the circuitry. It's pretty obvious that phone manufacturers have some work to do on finding and fixing this one.

I have an older 10.1 Tab A - GT-P5113TS that charges via a multipin connector and I don't have a spare. I tried all the button combinations, and had no luck, I bought a Newpower 99 replacement battery and in the process of replacing it should havereset it to boot up, but it didn't. The same exact thing is going on with an 8" SM-T237P tablet and I replace its battery, too. Nothing!! I am pretty sure I inserted the connectors properly. Is it time to toss them and return the replacement batteries?
If you cannot find any sign of life then I would say return the battery.

Hello, I have the Samsung galaxy tab a 2019.. Tried opening the back but like it needs some special tools. Is there any tips on how to open it with out anything extra. It's not coming on at all.
You need something like a plastic spudger otherwise you might damage the casing.
What about problems with charging. Sometimes no chargers work to charge?
It might have various reasons from chargers to charging boards.

basically i was watching a serial and when i watched it all i turned my tablet off. it showed black grey-ish screen and wasn't turning on and it did only after i turned on bixby. the sensor screen wasn't working so i had to use it with my stylus. then i tried rebooting it and now it's not turning on and nothing is helping 😕 (galaxy tab s6 lite) it was bought only 2 months ago as well

The tablet I am using in this video had the same problem like yours, follow all the steps in this video, if this doesn’t help then most likely you have to replace the screen.

Mine is stuck a frozen screen you can turn it on but when I do power down volume it takes a screenshot
