It’s been a brilliant addition, and the cause of much competition 😂 Tina is very proud of the fact that when she’s chirping and cheeping the app says, “hearing a bird” 🤦🏼♂️😂. We had E-Bird once and it’s done by the same people? We’re not “birdy” people but we love walking games such as Pokemon Go, Pikmin Bloom etc, and the bird app is basically like playing Pokemon Go, but with birds 😂
Cook's Corner probably would have been the best place to eat on the way if you didn't want to pack something. It's about 450m off the trail in Miscouche so not quite half way but it's something.. It's more of a corner store but they do lunch specials.
Ah, that’s great to know. That would have been really handy. Yeah we’ve come to love the little grocery stores, or gas stations, that sell sandwiches and rolls 😋. Many thanks for letting us know 👍🏼🙏🏼
We’ve seen a few people do it in the past and wondered what on earth they were doing 😂 Now we know 😉 It really does help. You do need a nice flat surface though 😂
great video...was this your favourite section to date? Which sections did you not like? I would think going by water would be nice, as well...could do with a few more toilets! 🤣
Thank you so much! We are about a third of the way through now, and so far our favorite stage has been North Cape! The videos are lagging behind, but will get there eventually 😄 regarding the toilet availability it is certainly a different thing than the Camino. More timing is required here 😅 We plan to do a summary/round up video after the trail is through for more detail for sure. Thank you for following along ❤️
Lovely video of a long walk, but you gave us views, wildlife, accommodation reviews and as usual, you two are so lovely❤ Wow, that hot tub must have felt like heaven sent🤗 I hope you solve that shoe issue, Tina🩹❤ Sending hugs🤗🤗🤗
Thank you Aida! You are too kind, as always 😄 And yes, that hot tub was so good for those sore legs. I think we have missed it every day since we left 😁 Tina’s shoe issues are looking up, the blisters are nicely healed now and she will tentatively try a new shoe brand soon. Short bursts at a time of course 😄🤞 hopefully that will do the trick!
We’re walking with a mini pharmacy Aida. Feel it… deal with it. That’s our rule (or actually, one of our many rules 😂) She’s all good now and although not ideal, has gotten new shoes which seem to be great 🤞🏼
❤
Thank you 🙏🏻❤️🐌
Hi to Sandy from me! Loved her intro to the Island Walk when she was in North Lake - such enthusiasm!
Sandy and Gord are wonderful. A fabulous addition to the Island Walk accommodation for sure. Lovely people and a fabulous place to stay.
Hey guys thanks for the shout out re the Merlin bird app! ❤ Glad Tina is a Hairy Woodpecker whisperer now!

Well, it was an old rail line, so I guess straight was good! :-)
LOL very true Bryson. And Canada has got lots of space so why do twisty if you don’t have to

Brilliant video, and the bit with the trail mix & seafood snacks made me laugh so much 😂
Glad you enjoyed it 😁 we will make sure to post more recipes just for you! Thanks for watching ^^

@@ChonkyTrundlers Tina, you may want to tape your toes to avoid friction. Hopefully you pass a pharmacy where you can get some💖
