I am sick, sick, sick and tired of watching cooks leave whole portions of a recipe in the bowl when pouring into a pan. Thank God Paula scrapes that bowl like its her Christmas paycheck! Love you Paula 😊

Wow, over $15 for her biscuit mix on Amazon!!!! It's flour, baking powder, salt and sugar, with quite a few additives! Crazy.
I made this starting last year when my garden exploded with zucchini. It is so absolutely delicious and I have shared this recipe over and over and it is such a winner! And I’m not even a zucchini fan. But I’ll eat this for sure over and over and over lol

I love hearing all of the kitchen noises, all of the banging and clanging and the squishy mixing noise of the zucchini is heavenly, thanks for not taking it out.
That sliced zucchini looked wonderful. The size of the rounds looked like garden fresh and not laden with moisture.
I would add more fresh basil, thyme and parsley too and maybe some dried basil and thyme as well. Seems a little bland. Also would use butter instead of plain oil, and slice the zucchini circles in half. I wouldn't grate it. Finished dish looked nice, though.

Paula, I love the gadget you have your eggs in, does it have a timer on it too???? What a cute gadget to get your eggs room temperature, and they will not roll all over the place. I love your recipes so much, and I am so glad I found you on yt. I watch you and your sons every single day. I love seeing Michael and Eddie too. Thank you, Paula, for brightening my day. I have so many memories watching you with my mother on Saturday mornings when you were on FN. She enjoyed watching you so much, and especially your recipes. She made every different Gooey Cakes that you have. I have all your cookbooks, and enjoy them so much. I even have your magazines from the very beginning. I love them, and I know that when I am gone, my family will not appreciate them like I did..LOL
I'm really shocked to see her so scatter- brained making this very simple recipe. Without Eddie catching her she would and did mess up ingredient amounts. She commented that she added too much cheese (which is why it's so dry when she's trying to mix in the zuchinni). She cant even remember if she added butter. Sounds like a recipe worth trying albeit a basic bisquick type dish.

With that many eggs, cheese & biscuit mix it is very similar to a recipe I have called a quiche that is crustless but the biscuit mix rises to the top. It has milk in it.. It also has onions &tomato slices. So good! You can halve your big zucchini slices too.
I had to get rid of my glass bowls and start using plastic. Too heavy

Paula I have been trying to find a recipe of yours that was in a magazine years ago. My family and everyone that ate it loved it but I lost the recipe. It’s a Mexican corn casserole. I do hope you post that here one day. Love your style and cooking.

I made that zucchini bread last week, but I add 1/4 cup of cocoa powder and make it chocolate. It’s the only recipe I use! It’s the best!

Girl! You’re a mess in the kitchen. But I love this recipe.I bet a cup or two of ricotta would make it next level.
I think you could easily sub melted butter for oil and Paula added way more parmesan than called for in the recipe.
I was so skeptical of this one turning out but when I saw it I wanted to jump thru the screen to eat it!!!

I would substitute half a cup of melted butter instead of the flavorless vegetable oil.

We don't have biscuit mix in the UK as far as I know. Anyone know what I could use instead?
Yes. A recipe for substituting Bisquick would be:. 1 cup all purpose flour, 1 and 1/2 Teaspoons Baking powder, 1/4 Teaspoon salt and 1 Tablespoon butter. Cut the butter into the flour mixture. You would need to adjust quantity to the recipe you are wanting to substitute, of course. 😊

I bet it would be awesome using phyllo sheets. Like country 8 size and butter every two sheets. Then tucking the ends down under all around the pan. Over lap the sheets in half across . Over lap by maybe 1” in the middle. Then tuck under around the edges to be a little fluffy. Then drizzle more butter around the phyllo after the filling is in add a little more around the edges and bake.
Sounds real good. Think I will make it for a Sunday lunch today!!!

I have made a similar dish using diced butternut squash and yes I used your biscuit mix! I have also made this using Vidalia onions

I would call that a zucchini cobbler rather than a pie.It does not have a crust and is not round baked in a pie dish. Looks great! i am going to try that!

Paula, I wish you would make your baking products gluten free too. I'd love to try your biscuit mix, gooey cake mix, etc, except I can't eat wheat. There are a lot of people allergic to wheat or just can't tolerate it.
