yep. He's got that "can do" attitude, no matter what he's confronted with and he always finds a way to get the job done. He's one of a dying breed and that's a real shame. We need to teach our children to have faith in themselves and let them know there's always a way, as long as you're willing to give it your best. Joe's living the American dream. Not because he's American nor because everything's been easy for him, but because he knows he can beat anything that stands in his way. I wish there were more people like him. Can't wait to see a little boy or girl, following him around, calling him daddy. I think he's going to be a great daddy.
I've got the ttr 250 it's been sitting in my shed for year's.... pulled the bike out 2 days ago to get it ready for sale so I could buy newer model bike... the thing started first push of the button... I'm falling in love with it again... awesome bikes..
I enjoy watching the diagnostic and repair of your machines Joe, but always look forward to watching you have fun, riding them after. These videos keep getting better. Thanks Joe :)
This channel is a perfect example of how easy people give up on the simplest things. This guy's got a bunch of beautiful motorcycles and ATVs for pretty cheap because people just didn't know what they was doing and didn't want to research at all good for you bud
Bought a 2003 TTR125LE a few years back because 1st gear was stripped out. Common problem on those bikes. It was fixed and I had installed a performance carb on it to eliminate the hard start issues these bikes have. Good bike overall.
When i bought My KLX650 it was listed for $1k. Complete bike all original. Cranked and fired up but stalled when put in gear and let clutch out. That same evening went home and found out that it was missing the kickstand safety switch. The wires were hanging loose (open circuit/kickstand down) i put wires together and bike ran normal. Klx650 is a beautiful beast. Keep up the great work Joe. By far my favorite channel brother.
Very good video Joe.Thanks for the time you put into making this content.Im doing research on the ttr 125 because my son wants a dirt bike and I think this is a good beginner bike instead of a race one.❤❤❤
When my daughter was 14 on her birthday I bought her a TTR 125 and a Kawasaki KLX 125 and the Yamaha is a way better bike in our opinion sounds pretty damn good bro and congratulations again on your property I know you have a lot of work ahead of you but it will pay off in the long run for sure have a great week man💙👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Really enjoying your videos, I have learned a lot about properly diagnosing issues. One request, would you mind showing how you fix the leaky front fork?
Hello my genius friend, I love all your videos and all the madness you create in mechanical machines. Do you need a madman like you? I love your madness and all your inventions.
Those fork seal s leaking could be the issue with the front suspension. Being low on fork oil will make a good front end feel horrible. Nice little scooter though.
Someone sold me one of these last week for $100. Was sitting for 4 years and I just had to buy it. Got it running the very same day and I’m so excited to hit some trails. Good stuff
Great video plus I had the exact same 2000 ttr I remember redoing the entire suspension for heavier rider full fmf exhaust, bigger jets, new plastic....great little bike. So nice I traded it even up for a Chevy blazer to a guy at work. Lol
Hmmm, another dirt bike with no oil filter. Those snail adjusters on the rear axle are maxed out, so either that chain/sprocket setup is either badly worn or the chain is too long. Thanks for another good video!
Your soybean field is a perfect field for flying Paramotors. When no wind is blowing you could even land down the rows to keep crop damage to a minimum. Much fun and not even having to stay on the edge. Nice field. Too bad the 125 has such weak suspension it could even haul my carcass well at over 200lbs. I don't know what that rattling noise is from the engine probably piston slap or upper end clearance, not pinging. May have a piston needing changed.
I've got a 2006 TTR125E, with the small frame. I was 15 and bought it myself for $1,200. I only had to get a new chain for it, and the bike rides. Now I just have to find time to adjust my valves, and don't know how. Can you maybe make a video on doing valves of a ttr125?
Everything he troubleshoots is very basic there's not a lot to these bikes now if you get up into street bikes and stuff like that or another thing he doesn't mess with is fuel injection bikes those things can be an absolute nightmare to diagnose I've been doing this for 40 years and the new fuel injection stuff is just an absolute nightmare
I would argue that it is beyond basic...multiple makes and models and eras. As a guy in his middle age years working/ restoring cars and motorcycles for many many years we are a dying breed. 2Vintage has amazing skills and patience.... Would love to know where you picked all of this up from. Keep up the great work man!
Amazing bike mechanically looks sound a carb kit and and an air filter is all this bike will ever need had mine since 2005 and haven’t done a valve lash job or anything the seals in the. Carb were disintegrated other than that 💯
my bike sat outside in the weather for around 7 years and nobody in my family thought it would run but I cleaned out the carb, gave it a new air filter, and it was good to go
Hey bro what lubrication do you use I'm a 2 stroke before checking the compression when the bike hasn't been riden for a while..?? I want to lube the piston first before checking compression..??
I bought a running 1 for 500$. The kid ran it out of oil cause he forgot to put the drain plug in it and it was ticking. Put a new piston in it and a valve adjustment sounds and runs great
I dont know about the laws regarding chemicals over there, but you might be better off getting an atv boom sprayer and clearing your trails with that. It ll keep the weeds away longer and you ll probably need it for fire breaks as well.
Hey Joe, what was the thing that was moving across the left side plate at 15:27- 15:46? It disappeared quickly. Not important, but has me curious. Probably a flying insect, but the way it appeared and disappeared won't leave my mind. Would that make it a "mind worm"? Lol. Thanks for another feel good video. I look forward to each one.
It's going to be cool as a moose watching your life unfold from here. Building your house, dream shop, and one day?? a herd of Little Joe's buzzing around the property on their tiny dirt bikes and ATV's. You are doing all this at the right time in your life.
That bike needs a better pipe and suspension on it other then that it’s a nice bike love the channel definitely would love to see a modern bike build on the channel Sometime.
I got a 05 Ttr 250 took me a year n so to get it running properly… parts hard to find on these… apparently there’s not manny of the… have u ever worked on one or came across one???? Would like to find out more about it
Nice little bike, when you rebuild the front forks , Add a little bit heavier weight fork oil. Plus add the maximum amount in each Fork leg and that’s not suspension will be formed 100% better.
Air filter doesn’t look to be sealing well against the air box. Best way to fix this is to reassemble everything, make it start using starter fluid then hold the throttle pinned wide open while you ride it around your parents’ yard or down the road out the front. It’s what the best motorcycle tuners do. ;)
I see UA-cam is still messing up riding footage, where it gets all blocky/distorted any time there's a moving scene. I found out that if you export the video in 2k even though it was shot in 1080p it will fix the distortion because UA-cam prioritizes higher definition videos like 2k and 4k and puts them in the "VP09 format". I've done it with all the newer videos on my enduro riding channel and it works great, no more distortion.
Get some detail brushes and some good soaps you can make that seat look good it’s years of grime but the right chemicals or soaps can make a huge difference for future projects a lil research you will get it
You need to pull a metal Drag to get Rid of the weeds n just drive over it a few times n it will stay weed free for awhile n I used a chain to a piece of 2ft channel plate n some chain link fence price n Drag it n it works Good , Because when you cut the grass it grows back Fast ok n I usually Drag it like 2 times a year n it stays a dirt trail
That’s a good deal. Like you say people lie. I’m looking for a dual purpose 600/650. See if j. Am fall into 💩 & still smell nice after ! It’s only fair !
That's a fun little bike. Maybe you can adjust the shock tension to help with the ride? And I just can't get used to that 4 stroke farting sound. Two stroke for me.
It's amazing how ppl say it won't run..if they watch ur vids they know it's gonna run..every machine is always basically the same and always runs 99 percent of time..I guess ppl just watch and don't pay attention to the teacher..owell better 4 u bro.morebikes more cash btr dreams...b safe.peace..

You change the Seals....they leak at the seals .... kinda complicated if your new to bikes but easy to do...

Love those older simple air cooled bikes. Light weight and great fun.
Nice lil Ripper easy fix dude you got a nice property also once again Congrats on your purchase
What a good score always a nice feeling when you get an easy one

Great video! You sure know how to run out of gas at the right time lol. That land is perfect for you, looking forward to seeing what is to come
Just bought a 2003 TTR 125 for 800$ and a yard sale. 15 original hours on it. Stole it pretty much. Runs like a charm
13:15 did you see that big chunk of white muck fly out the jet part when blowing it out?
Your like my favorite UA-cam channel rn. So satisfactory, keep it up and keep it going up much ❤️ to ya

What about that leaky fork seal Joe?
😆
Good shout 👍
Fork seals-both are leaking.
Another great vid! For carb cleaning, have you considered getting an ultrasonic? Mine hasn't met a carb it couldn't clean.
I dig your carb clean specials and I like your new property for test riding👍🏼👍🏼
Thar little trench is a nice kick stand for the bike

For all the bikes I’ve seen you fix im surprised we’ve never seen ya true a wheel or anything like that

you should get a tw200, would be perfect for the property.
you should host a riding event there haha so we can get that dirt loose up for ya!

dont open it up unless you are ready for it
Use hairspray for the seat. It works awesome.

I commented if you have badly clogged try heating with a torch. That crappy gas will melt and run out like tar. I did it on my 185s and my trx125.
