- If your tool takes a drop and brakes, don't dump it. As long as the motor still works, it's worth fixing.
This Bosch GDX 18V-EC Impact driver was dropped from a highet and broke the body of the machine. But no worries it's a easy and cheap fix.
Drill and Impactors like this one are so easy to change the body on.
A cracked or broken handle, ckamshell or body can easily be replaced.

Glad to see you back after the hack attack Dean. Keep up the good work. I am so ham fisted with re-assembling power tools that I had to ask my brother (who has more patience) to put my Milwaukee 18 volt drill driver back together. I replaced the brush card and the planetary gear set fell out and I could not get everything to fit again.
as long as its working again now, your not so bad. it takes extra time and patience the first time anyone opens some new.

One of the company tools (this exact model) broke in this exact manner, can't blame Bosch as it was dropped off ladder from pretty high up. It was taped back up and kept chugging along.

Why didn't this idea of impact wrench and impact driver in one chuck take off more?
Why sell people one tool when you can sell them two. The idea may have been patented.
Silly question, but are replacement model number stickers available that could be ordered? For all models... Or is it not worth it?
You can buy the label with the model number, but you have to put the serial number on yourself
Many of us like to call this the bosch freak since its both an impact driver and wrench but frankly it's pretty pathetic as either.
