@@simplybeingshipley it is hard to get the left side with mirror correctly positioned. The right side works fine, but on the 2022 fat bob the left side wing mirror is positioned slightly differently next to the signal light than the right side mirror. I cannot get the angle correct on the left mirror. I think an extended arm for the mirror would help, but then I’m looking at new gear. Any recommendations for where to find wing mirrors with a slightly larger arms?
@@edwin-eddie-doyle On my Fat Bob I had to angle the bar of the mirror to go back further on that side and then rotate the mirror piece to give me a better view. My understanding is Harley does make the same mirrors in extended reach, so you might want to try at a dealership. But if you angle the arms so they point away from you more you should be good to go. I am 5 foot nine and my fat Bob was a 2020. Thank you for the question let me know how it goes. They also make a mirror that has a rotating point at two of the binds in the mirror bar, that would allow you a lot more freedom.
Harley sells an extended version of these mirrors that allows you to put the mirrors into a useful position and still keep them away from the tank at full lock.
These are the stock mirrors and bars. When you invert them, you have to rotate them back as far as they can go, and then re-position the actual mirror face.
Brilliant. Thx. Agreed. And even at 5.11, I mostly see myself in the rear view mirrors. I'm going to try it!
Thank you for the comment. Let me know how it goes.

Nice video thanks - where did you get the black acorn nuts for the the mirrors?
Any Harley dealership. They’re about three dollars each. Thank you for the comment.
Love the mirrors facing down

What did you use to bend the mirror arm mine are chrome ..?

So its not just me. I will do this in a couple days when i pick the bike up.
It definitely makes a big difference invisibility and helps change the overall look at the front end
The factory placement of the mirrors is very bad. Placing them under the bars is almost a necessity.
Great info. Thank you
