Javant this looks delicious! I love chili but have never had white bean chili so i definitely can't wait to try this YUM! and the cornbread too! Looking forward to getting your app
interesting, I've never heard of a white chillie. I definitely have to try this. You never cease to amaze me and every single video is created with so much care and attention to detail. Thank you so much for your great work. I can't wait for your app to be available on Tuesday. Have a nice weekend and a great start with your app
Thank you so much! I am humbled by how much you support my channel, and appreciate my efforts. I love sharing here and on my other social media platforms, but my App is the culmination of years of conceptualizing, planning, and effort. I am so excited that it is about to come to fruition! I want it to be my magnum opus, and can't wait to share it.
Thank you for another wonderful recipe. Would you consider making a couple baked goods with and also without the baking powder and/or baking powder so we can see the difference it makes? Also, I have seen organic seedless grapes at the supermarket. It seems like that isn't labeled correctly because a seedless grapes has to be GMO, correct?
Seedless grapes are not considered GMO. My understanding is that they can occur naturally in nature, albeit rare. I think the seedless grapes in stores is a result of grafting or crossbreeding. This isn't natural, in my opinion, so I don't eat them. However, they don't meet the requirements to be considered GMO, unless there is recently new info I am not aware of. I like your idea of a side by side comparison. Thats an excellent suggestion, and I will definitely plan for that in a future recipe. Thanks, and stay tuned 👌🏾
Nice Javant. I made a similiar dish this week using black bean chickpeas and pinto beans and the regular cornbread. I used your earlier cornbread recipe? I must try this white bean chill also❤
Javant, what function does the flax meal serve in the cornbread? Is it for texture or for nutritional purposes? It's a fabulous natural fat to consume, like chia and hemp, but for a few of us, the lignans in these seeds (as in soy beans) is a real GI and hormonal disruptor! I tend to sub out things for flax (yes, I mourn the fact that I can't eat healthy things like flax and chia, etc) but it does help me to know what the intended role of the flax is before I choose to sub it or leave it out entirely. I am SO ready to make this cornbread, too. I am a cornbread lover from way back and had to leave it behind once I gave up on regular flour and all the rest of the stuff that goes into a traditional cornbread recipe (almost everything besides the corn meal, LOL) so this my friend, looks enticing and easy to make. I belive it's time for a Cornbread Reconciliation! Healthy Vegan Eating style! (I'm on the list for the app release -- anticipation builds.)
Flax makes a great binder to hold everything together in place of an egg, that's my guess why it's in there. If you leave it out it may crumble apart easily, if you're ok with that. Alternatively you could use wheat flour instead of almond flour and leave out the flax, because gluten is a great binder too.
Of course they can be grown organically. ANYTHING can be grown organically. But unless ALL rules (including non GMO) are followed, it cannot be CERTIFIED organic. It’s like the difference in “vegetarian” and “vegan.” Vegan (and “certified”) mean NO EXCEPTIONS.
I will still post here and on IG. The App is on a totally different level as far as how well organized and user friendly the recipes are, and how much information it offers.
It’s great to see your post pop up

Yes, just as Amy said, it's used to bind the cornbread
Thanks for helping out! Spot on 👌🏾
Yum!
🙂
Yum warming
🙂
Gorgeous! Just like you. Looks delish!
Thanks, you're too kind! 😊
Now I just need to hear the southern slightly sweet version of this, that would be a great thing to replace
I'm with you. My favorite is sweet potato cornbread, which I make often.
Where the app at?
Tuesday 👌🏾
I fell off. Haven't tuned-in in a while. Oil free is essential. You still NEVER disappoint!
Thank you. Welcome back, I'm glad you are here! 👌🏾
Javant, I thought you were going to use that creamy mixture as a butter for the cornbread... LOL
That could work also 👌🏾
GMO PLANTS CAN BE GROWN ORGANICALLY
The label should state that it is NGMO 😊
Actually, you are incorrect. Read this for clarity: www.usda.gov/about-usda/news/blog/organic-101-can-gmos-be-used-organic-products
Of course they can be grown organically. ANYTHING can be grown organically. But unless ALL rules (including non GMO) are followed, it cannot be CERTIFIED organic.
It’s like the difference in “vegetarian” and “vegan.”
Vegan (and “certified”) mean NO EXCEPTIONS.
😋😋😋😋
🙂
So you will only be on the app and not on UA-cam
I will still post here and on IG. The App is on a totally different level as far as how well organized and user friendly the recipes are, and how much information it offers.
