Girl: "The kind of guys who drink Buckfast were generally not the kind of people that I wanted to hang around with."
Guy: "I love this shit"
They totally need to do an episode of the two of them on a blind date.
I know. A lot of irony there.
I really want to try Buckfast.
Me: Oh, then, screw you...
"I am not what you would call a connoisseur of wine, I'm more of just a violent alcoholic" - Brilliant!
"The Buckfast was my least favourite."
"Well Martin, you clearly don't have any self destructive habits."
GOLDEN
OMG Ryan liked everything!! 😂🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻
+cindybin2001 Go read some bullshit in the bible before smearing shit all over our screen
+cindybin2001 please, just stop nobody here cares, also why are you acting like you're suprised that they are drinking alcohol in a video that has wine in the title, idiot. It's just dumb wasting your time.
+cindybin2001 lol what the hell?
+cindybin2001 easy, dear, sit down before you hurt yourself.
Who knew that he wasn't always a pissant? 😂
0:29 "It'd be nice with a beef stroganoff."
"Or 5 bags of Doritos"
and the 2 girls they cracked me up .. for those nights in with your cat...yeah.
The face of the first one after she said yeah..... hahaha!! Gold!
Ryan’s smile is probably the cutest thing ever. Like, I’m having an awful day and seeing him happy has genuinely cheered me up.
You clearly don't have any self destructive habits ... Love Ryan
Ryan and that guy who was with him had me nearly wetting myself with laughter. I love this video x "Well, you clearly don't have any self destructive habits"
love that bit cutting back and forth with the guy being like love this shit and the girl saying you shouldnt be friends with people who enjoy it
0:26 , 1:24 , 2:37 blue shirt guy gives me life
the one in the blue shirt is my favorite
+CaptainDauntless it's a Prodigy shirt too, which makes it even better B)
+BattleCryy yessss, that's the first thing I noticed too !! ;; I need that shirt -
+Nadia Mohamed He's a DJ called DoubleScreen.
donallllllll
Nice bit of editing there with Blaithin and Ryan over the Buckfast, lol. I feel like Ryan realizes it's horrid, but loves it anyway.
"oh martin you just clearly dont have any self destructive habits." legitimately the best line in the whole video. makes me want to try that wine
+Nun Ya It tasteslike mildly alcoholic cough syrup. Generally drank by teens who wanna get smashed or the unemployed (there are exceptions, obviously)
Of COURSE the lad from up North is singing the praises of Bucky 😂
was actually about the comment the same thing lol must be a northern thing
+martin mcallister loads of my friends love it but I think it's bloody vile 😂
+Rumer Priestly They never do any Canadian products, it's sad/
He will fit well in Scotland especially Glasgow or the West
What about a Facts on all Mexican beer? Corona, Dos X, Tecate, Modelo... so many to choose from.
No Manischewitz? Grape jam/jelly in a glass. Yum.
+AmyD We don't have any Jews
I'm in the UK and I don't know if we have manischewitz here, but if it tastes like other kosher wine I've had on Shabbat I enjoy it aha
Yeah, Manishcewitz is pretty great. It's like Welch's with a teeny bit of alcohol in it.
Why do you want torture those poor people?
Buckfast! brewed by monks, drunk by punks
+Xander B who names a wine buckfast???
hifijohn monks. obviously
+Xander B Monks who have nothing better to do than see how fast it takes wine to get them drunk. If you have to be celibate might as well have fun other ways.
1:41 - That change in demeanor, absolutely golden.
A cat lady who does late night sittings with her cat. As if I could've liked her more. Seriously, delightful woman all around.
+chillin santa ^^someone said it
Where is Portugal's Porto wine? Cmonnnn
I wanna know what foundation the pale red head uses! She looks flawless!!
I love how they are freaking about the cup sizes lol
Those are only from places on the northern hemisphere. Chile, Argentina, South Africa and Australia make great wine as well.
I was about to comment this. You're so right!
I think this video was more about making them drink wine that doesn't taste good so I'd take it as a compliment that those wines weren't mentioned.
New Zealand and South Africa have nice wine as well.
Celi Méndez Very true. I love South American Chardonnay, South African Pinotage, and Australian Shiraz.
" it tastes like body fluids to me"
my mind went to a very dark place.
+lola bigcups Mighta been salty.
my mind, too...
+lola bigcups The cupboard right... riiiiight? ~dimwitted stare~ o____________o
+lola bigcups well, usually body fluids come from "very dark places"
We've unlocked the key to Ryan's mile: Buckfast!
No Port? It's only the best Portuguese wine!
+MrDynamite110 "Have some Madeira my dear"
Vinho verde, I love it. Portugal have got a lot of very good wine. And of course the very good Ginja (not wine but I love it)
Saudações aos nossos irmãos da Espanha
i love port!
The editing is just brilliant!
I actually got a shiver up my spine when I seen the buckfast. all those nights sprinting around fibbers with one shoe on clutching a bottle of bucky.
I've never heard of it. I'll assume it's like night train or a comparable bum wine (bum being used in the American sense, synonymous with hobo... although in this case the British interpretation is probably totally suitable as well)
+ExaltedDuck its like ribena with added crack cocaine.
Yay more Irish people drinking and talking.
I don't even care what it's about. It's gonna be fun.
Baby Martin, lol !!!!
"Smells like it looks... *Piss*" 😂😂 Love Donal, omg
You should do one where they try American "Bum Wines". Like Thunderbird, Night Train, Cisco, MD 20/20, etc.
I suppose I should have said "Tramp Wines", for those of you who think "bum" is a part of the human anatomy.
They aren't ready for the Hobo wines yet. Maybe the guy drinking buckfast. They should just do a video on drinking like a real American. Hobo wines, 40s and spacebags.
If they do that, I guarantee you, there will be a ton of comments of saying:"I have lived in AMERICA my ENTIRE life and I have NEVER seen these in ANY shops" blah blah blah
Those people are just in denial. I have traveled in this country A LOT, and, I've never failed to find MD 20/20!
MD 20/20 is extremely popular here in Scotland so it's probs popular in Ireland too
Possibly one of the funniest Facts vids yet! I am heading to Ireland at the end of May want me to bring anything over from America?! hahah!
They didn't try any ice wines fro. ontario! :(
*from
I was just about to comment that!
+Crixus lol i know where Ontario is i live there/here. I was correcting a typo.
+Crixus. there is a group of winerys near Niagara that make really good wine.
True
The editing on the Buckfast segment was brilliant!
Great video, love wines,
But so many good wine countries left off the list like Chile, Argentina, Spain, Hungary, Australia, Israel, France, Portugal, and so on. Also why not fruit dessert wines, those are great
+Michael Cohen Port wine from Portugal is perfection.
easybrains Personally these days I'm into Tempranillo from Spain, though I prefer the Roja region the best. Never had port before, but I'm limited in my alcohol budget, so I don't buy much and only for special occasions.
Spanish wines ? Good ? You must be kidding me
..
Michael Cohen good port wine is rather expensive, especially the old ones or the vintage Port.
I personally dislike spanish wine (or beer for that matter), however I have been trying Italian wine, and some of them are quite good - Lambrusco for example.
easybrains I like italian wines. Spanish wines have a bit of spice in them from the soil the grapes are grown in. It's not for everyone. But I have had lots of great wines from many countries
It's so nice to see POC on here :-3
The dichotomy of Ryan and Bláithín on the Bucky is brilliant. So much so that I wander if they scripted it together...haha.
The reaction to the last wine shows it was clearly Rumpol's favorite, Chateau Thames Embankment.
"I can almost taste the teenage vomiting!"
This just reminds me of how much I hate wine. I can knock back about 5 or 6 beers, maybe some more - still articulate as fuck, can text with perfect grammar and punctuation, walk straight, walk backwards, and not puke or get a hangover. Drank a bottle and a half of kind of cheap wine once (when I was 22 or 23 and I'm now, was drinking off and on since 16 though the US says I shouldn't until 21) and was throwing up horribly the next couple hours. Never again have I touched wine. Actually I drink maybe 2 drinks a year. Which I guess is a missed opportunity because when I was in the Bahamas I realized I can beat a lot of men at downing drinks when I was able to down drinks faster than the frat guys who probably do it every weekend. The German, Irish, English, and Slovak in me won't let me be a lightweight I guess. Runs in my German side of the family.
Oops - I'm now 26. God damn phone app...
hahahahaha Drink wine is a art only for civilizated people. Perhaps you must drink rum or vodka with your head in the tonnel.
+Archibald Hadock What? Your spelling and grammar makes your comment make almost no sense. Especially towards the end.
5-6 beers is not that much..
"Ohh... my sweet friend."
blue plaid red shirt was giddy today. good.
+karla martinez hes called Ryan, i went to school with him
+WIRELESSCHICKEN96 was he always a grumpy pants?
+Endless Summer ryan is my spirit animal, ahaha both enjoy bucky and sarcasm is key.
Being in a small restaurant in Connemara and watching an Irish teen take the wine order of a French family man is one of my all time favorite memories.
2:03 That was a married moment if ever I've seen one.
Notice how the pairs almost always agree on whatever they are tasting?
+Aj Koorstra people dont like to contradict each other face to face
+Aj Koorstra I like when one clip is someone talking shit about people who like the stuff they are tasting. Very next clip is someone saying they like it. Happens a bit in these videos.
mob mentality. haha.
Matthew Schell it's called good editing 😆
Because I have found these lovely Irish people, I now waste several hours (2) the first night watching them drink, which I find hysterical. Thank you lovely Irish people.
Ryan calls his drink the same thing I do: "My sweet friend." Pretty cool.
Jaysus Ryan was in a good mood! You'll have to give him wine more often!
"I want a nap."
That's why they call it the NAPa Valley! (Kidding)
Yes South African wine are the best priced and tastes fantastic
Even a simple home made wine from Portugal would be better than any of that wines! No doubt! :D
It's to bad you didn't have them taste test, the wino's favorite wine Thunderbird. I'd be really interested to see what they thought of it!
I love the overlap of the commentary on Buckfast and Ryan's (is that his name?) reaction to it.
Yep, Ryan Cullen.
If I were in charge of this one I would have had them try Manischewitz Concord, Fairbanks California Port, and Alvear Amontillado Sherry.
"I love this shit! It's made by monks" Lol 😂 Use Buckfast to fuck fast
I would love to see them try Korean alcohols. Makgeolli (regular or fruit flavored), soju (original and mild), bokbunja, baekseju, maeshilju, bokbunjaju and of course good ol' maekju (beer-Cass and Hite are popular brands from Korea.)
Buckfast aka "Lunatic Soup" .... many a youngfella had a cut at a bouncer after a bottle a that in a ditch with "De Boyz".
About the first wine: "We should have known that it was American, we are doing a Facts. video!"
Irish people try moonshine should be next.
+24Kurenai MURICA!
Dude Moonshine is purely Irish, the only reason it's in America is because of all the Irish immigrants
Those girls crack me up. I'd drink gnarly wine with them any time.
You need to try Silver Oak or Cakebread chardonnay next time...they make them right down the road from me and they're awesome!
this was the best facts video
You need to do another video like this and add Portuguese wine. Port, maybe, or a vinho verde from the north.
LOL I was waiting for Buckfast to make an appearance. First time seeing anyone drink it out of a glass.
I hope they chilled it for them in advance :)
Should have given them a quarter bottle each for best effect though.
Oh c'mon, what about Portugal's wine?
Facts, you should do a taste test where you have them taste really shitty, Frat boy, college girl typical drinks. Like Jager Bombs, Coors Light, fruity wine coolers, Fireball, Corona, Natural Ice, Jack and Coke, Four Loko, etc. And PLEASE put Ryan in it. He would love everything.
"Smells how it looks."
*mouths the word "piss"*
Excuse me youtube, why would you give me a 5 second advertisement and STILL GIVE ME THE OPTION TO SKIP IT!!
Try a selection of American Pop wines.... Boone's Farm, Mogen David. (Mad Dog 20/20), etc.
No Boone's Farm Strawberry Hill? That's a true American wine.
"This looks like it could ruin your life" hahahaha
" Deep dark ruby purple, like any other wine."
Literally none of the other wines are that colour! XD
1:43 the realization of being a cat lady! Lol!
Irish People Try Sake!
south australian wine is almost the most famous, would have loved to see them try something of higher quality haha
My Irish brethren, Sake is pronounced, "Sah-Kay."
Yero! Bottle of Bucky!
+DrGrukar McNinjaSixthGun fuck off
sah-key
***** no offense but i dont listen to white people, sorry,
+Angelica Romero do u have a legit reason to not listen to a very large group of people
***** I know how to say it, but was unsure how to to spell it phonetically, but Keh, yes, that makes more sense. Ke to me like a short and rapid way to say, "Kay." But Kei, you have an emphasis on the end and drag it out a bit, so it would be like, "Kaay."
I LOVE IRISH ACCENTS AND IM DYING
im irish been drinking all day ,even the kidneys are sore at this stage this is not what I need lol ,liked anyway as ya do
Were these wines warm or cold?
Buckfast (Buckie) is made by monks especially for Glaswegian alcoholics. Helen Liddell, former Secretary of State for Scotland, called for the wine to be banned. In 2005. Luckily, they didn't.
She winked at me
nothing from barossa valley or coal river valley? some good aussie stuff
Man. Donal, if you hadn't already won me over that shirt did. #nasty
American pop wines! Boone's Farm. Mogen David 20/20. Wine sold in Paper cartons by the half gallon!
still need to try the fine american wine, "wild irish rose".
Your man with the beard needs to be my friend, he's hilarious.
I need to know what lipsticks they are wearing because they aren't budging!
+BarBaekU
Especially the woman in the black and white shirt.
This one was great! well they all are but this was exceptionally good 🍻
"I found a dead hedgehog once and it smelled like this."
I finally found something Ryan likes!
So Martin is my new favorite
Ummmm... are Hedgehogs just cruising around wild in Ireland? 'Cause that's adorable...
They are? I'm Irish and I never see them 😂 😂 😂 😂
+BalletDancer17 I don't know! It was a genuine question! The way the guy in the video said he "found a dead" one once made me wonder! hahhahahhaha
I love your phrasing haha yes, they do roam around in the wild here although they are pretty shy animals so you're most likely to see one squished on the road :( or cleaning up leftover cat food if you feed stray kitties outside!
Canadian ice wine is amazing.
The fact they drank buckfast makes my scottish lil self happy
Portuguese wine taste test. Red, White, Vinho Verde, Aguadente Bagaceira, Port ( ruby and tawny ) and finish up with Portuguese Brandy. And then a taxi trip to a rehab center to dry out. 8*)
Irish people react to Kpop.
(If that hasn't been done yet.)
***** Forgive me. You know what I mean.
"Irish people watch Kpop in a way that they don't get sued by the Fine Bros."
make them do the BBQ chicken wings challenge
The prodigy! Nice
Can " 5 bags of Doritos" lad be my life advisor
I do love my wines but they do make me so sleepy :)
no French wine?
+madelynneedsalife And Slovenian wine...
+madelynneedsalife And Australian wine...
+Dementos And Ethiopian Wine...
+madelynneedsalife and Chilean wine...
The only good (more or less) wine in this video is the yankie wine. Perhaps because thatá a gringo channel.
There are a lot of cheap wine around the world taht you can drink and no die.
There are a lot of weird wine n the world too (Quinado from Spain for example) that they aren´t bad for the video.
And of course the sake isn´t wine.
