Really enjoying seeing you branch out into non-orchids! I started with non-orchids, and they really do compliment each other very well.

The Neon Robusta is so underrated. They’re gorgeous and very cheap and not much different than the other pink varieties that cost 10-20 times more. They’re super easy and forgiving plants. I have all my aroids in pon and they love it, but syngoniums are pretty flexible in general.

I adore this plant, I've had mine for a year, did you know it is a climber? I have a Coco fiber pole and it's happily climbing now, the new leaves are much bigger and more pink!

I have bought this Syngonium just two weeks ago as a baby plant. I couldn’t resist the color 😍

More light triggers more photosynthesis in plants, making leaves green. This plant needs lower light to achieve the pink leaves.

Nope, more light triggers more anthocyanin (red pigment), less lights triggers more dense chlorophyll (green) 😊

Looking forward to update. Usually when using soil i add rocks, leca or pieces of a broken clay pot to cover drainage holes, hold back soil while watering. 🙂

I cut little circles of weed barrier, like when you put parchment circles in a cake pan. (I'm a pastry chef, lol). Anyway, it works perfectly!

I love that you accidentally call this plant an orchid 😂 I do that with so many of my house plants. I favouritse my orchids for sure 😂

I always had other plants along with my orchids. Granted I don't have 300 orchids. Love them as much as my orchids.

My fiancée in the Philippines has one of those she is growing outside. Large very pink leaves indeed.

I'd LOVE to see some Tradescantia Pink Panthers under your Barrina lights! Talk about pink foliage 🤩💖
Also, what's the process when Maya lays her egg? I'm assuming it's unfertilized, do you let her keep it for a bit & then throw it away? Do you replace it with a fake one??

I use pon in stead of perlite to make my soil more airy. It doesn't float to the top, it doesn't get nasty and stained, and it has the same benefits to the soil perlite does.

I mix succulent soil and vermiculite. I actually used my orchid pots worried that the soil will fall of the side but it didn't and its also interesting to see the water goes down the soil.

What a coincidence, we just got this plant a couple of weeks ago! That dusty faded pink is so gorgeous, usually I'm not into pink plants, they usually look somewhat sick to me, which is great since most pink plants are the trendy, "rare", variagated, expensive kind 😂

Hi Danny! It’s great to see you mixing things up! I miss your posts regarding the African violets too! That plant looks very beautiful and I’m sure she will achieve pink glory under your care. Having a mixed display of orchids along with other plant varieties certainly adds a great amount of visual appeal. I like to mix things up too. I am a huge fan of aglaonemas, because all their varieties are just so beautiful. I own the lipstick red, Siam king, pink valentines and now a sweet lemon.. Crotons are also very nice and colorful. Anyway it’s great to see you adding videos with other plants and I hope you continue to do so! Thanks!

If you put them in light that’s too bright then it may happen that the leaves are getting bleached from the sun

Great video, Danny! I had a syngonium, but it was darker green and reddish, even mauve. I also mulched it! It was labeled low light, but it got all stretched out. Lots of leaves never unfurled. Never could figure it out. I gave it to a friend! Lol

Caladiums also come in a lovely pink color but they might get too tall for shelves.

Hi Danni: a really beautiful plant is the Gesneriacea Hybrid Episcia "Cleopatra" with its bright pink and green Variage foliage. And some of the hybrids/cultivars produced from it as " Pink Shimmering Valley" I am a lover of both the Gesneriads & Orchids. Both bloom indoors. Check out the beautiful Episcias.

I do have this plant and I am having issues with the leaves not unfurling.. if you figure out why that happens I'd love to see a video on it.

I have a tricolor stromanthe which has a lot darker pink leaves on the underside. I also have another plant
Tri-Color Bolivian Jew (Callisia Repens Variegated) Variegated Turtle Vine It has little pink white and green leaves which I adore. The one is taking over my shelf. I have to trim it back a little. I am thinking of propagating it and making a whole new plant. We will see how that goes. I think that plant you have is adorable though. I love that misty pink as well.

Remember to keep the growing tips points upwards! The leaves will become trifoliate and wonderful if can mature

All the syngonium I've ever owned didn't like to get too dry. They were pretty quick to droop so it's easy to tell when they want a drink. Otherwise a very easy house plant they've grown pretty quickly as well

With house plants, always check if they have a fabric net inside the pot. :( I can't say how many times I inspected the media after a plant died and found a super dry or super wet plug that contradicted the rest of the media.
