hello Ramon. Thanks for the post. My 2002 C320 has had a check engine light on and the car has been losing power, cutting out at intersections....(Sometimes, the check engine light will go out and there's no more issue, but then it returns) So, I got an OBD2 done at O'reillys that basically said a MAF sensor was needed. SO, I did fit a new MAF sensor. But, the problem continues. Do you have any opinion ? Could it be EGR ?

My other issue is: randomly, the ESP shows up on my display, and the car engine stays on but I lose ALL accelerator pedal power......then, if I turn off engine, restart, it drives again. Very weird and sometimes a bit dangerous when it happens in traffic. Any ideas. Would love to solve. It scares my wife & kids big time 😀
Joseph hi Joseph. I replaced the EGR yesterday. But, now the car is running tougher. Almost as if there’s a piston missing. It’s cutting out more than it did before I replaced the new EGR ???? So weird.
Joseph hi there And thanks again for your response. I replaced the MAF sensor about 6 weeks ago. And Until about 10 days ago, the CEL was not on. My car does still fly along with Tons of power, but when I am idling, or low RPM it shudders and can even lose power and cut out.
what is that valve called just adjacent to the oil filler? i broke the one on my car takeing off the valve cover i need to know the name of it so i can order

and then it move normal no stall, did it stop stall
Mine has the same issue all you did was undo the hose and the rough idle went away ?

my engine sounds like this sometime i thought it was a broken rocker arm
thats gotta be THE worst sounding engine ever....i think the EGR valve is the least of your worries. .
I am not worried it’s a diesel. Runs just fine.
