Thank-You Father. My husband and I have been together for over 40 years now. I have to admit, there have been times it's been a "ROLLERCOASTER", but it has also been a BLESSED UNION. We have one daughter and two BEAUTIFUL Grandsons!!!! So I believe that the Lord knew what He was doing when He put two together. Can't IMAGINE my life without him!!!!

Yes, Fr. Tyler, the union of a woman and man is so sacred that Jesus sanctified the Sacrament of Matrimony. You explained it very clearly, how Jesus, the bridegroom, loves His bride, the church. How noble is the union of husband and wife, so highly elevated with so much respect and great dignity whose thanksgiving to Jesus is endless. Thank you, Fr. Thank you Father Tyler for this explanation; however, some theologians might argue that yes, God made Adam and Eve, but Adam and Eve made all of us--meaning all of us with all of our intricacies and qualities. I wonder, too, if the gospel according to Mark--he didn't actually write this--as the title to that book reads: The Gospel according to Mark, so obviously, some scribe or Christian in the early church put on vellum what had been traditionally an oral story--and, I sometimes wonder if any words actually got lost in translation or cultural bias and if Jesus really said marriage was only between a man and a woman.
Most importantly, are you familiar with any scholarly books on medieval same-sex marriages performed by the church or the scholarly work of Yale graduate John Boswell?

Fr Tyler, please help me, I was born Catholic with schooling and all sacraments. I met a wonderful man young who was baptised Anglican, but willing to marry in the Catholic Church, which we did. We have 2 beautiful children. My husband some years later turned to drugs alcohol and gambling. But maintained working. 22 years later, he is a different man. Withdrawn, unemotional, uninterested in any of his family. I pray the flame of love rosary daily and fast wed and fri for some change. The sacrament of marriage is not taken lightly by myself. But as my children are becoming teenagers, they are questioning my loyalty to him. I have no spiritual direction but to only see Christ in him and not to judge. Any ideas? Also he’s always faultless, so discussions are hard and not common. Please, direction or certain prayers, I can try. Anything. Anybody. Godbless in advance ✝️
Hi JN3498, Hope this helps. Two things come to mind. Surrender Novena from Jesus Himself speaking through Fr Dolindo(prayers to pray anytime, not just as a novena)and Litany of Humility(not saying you’re proud. It’s just powerful)
Ok, also, the teen years are challenging. Stick to your guns on this. God and His Word come first! Live by this Truth and let the pieces fall where they may. Be the example and don’t cave in. No one ever regrets following God AND He stays close to those who stay close to Him. Looking back in their lives, this is what we’d all like to see as the example our parents gave us.

God created MAN and WOMAN! What part of that doesn't anyone understand?
Jesus never knew about Christianity , church as Jesus was a Jew and worshipped in temples and never in any church. So Paul telling lues that Jesus loved church. Paul who never met Jesus , did not took permission from Jesus to write letters and add them to Bible. Church and Christians should not believe in any writings of Paul as as they were not permitted by Jesus.
I keep hearing “lips of Christ” but all Im hearing is Paul and Mark.
How about we stick to verifiable speakers who actually met Christ like Matthew, Peter, John, Jude or James Instead of spitting blasphemy.
