Hello! I hope you had a beautiful day! I had another busy day in my sewing room getting something ready for filming on Easter Monday. Now I get to sit and relax and watch you while I hand quilt! I hope you have a Happy Easter weekend and a fabulous week ahead! Thank you for posting this video and your time to make this for all of us to enjoy!
Yes and yes! You certainly can use this technique with wovens. I demonstrated it with a knit because it’s perfect for them. When you flip the elastic and top stitch it, you do need to stretch the slack out the fabric as you sew. -Liz
Linda, any idea why my never used, brand new L890 has a frozen screen after using it for 2 hours yesterday? I have turned the machine on and off, unplugged and plugged back in numerous times. The screen is stuck on stitch #6 which is the stitch I used and which I saved into the folder. I can’t change stitches or do anything since the screen is completely frozen. Please advise. Thank you.
Thanks for the great demo. I now feel confident I can work with and use this foot. : )

Will this fit the Vibrant serger?
Does this foot come with the little screw driver?
Missed seeing Linda - but Liz did a great job. Thanks for a nice demonstration. Have a wonderful day.
Thanks for the clear directions! Nice job!
Can you do this on cotton? Do you stretch the elastic when you fold over to top stitch.
