Thanks Mark. Getting rid of my Boonedock and will try this cart. Loved the Boonedocks but they did damage my Kayak to the the point I had to remove them and make repairs to my old town.
Hi Mark, I just came across your video. I purchased this same cart with my Jackson Knarr last year. I agree with you, it’s a great cart and works well with a big heavy kayak like the Knarr, great informative video. Thank you Tracy
Thanks for the video! Can you stow the folded up cart in your bow storage? I also have an Old Town Sportsman and want to be able to stow a cart in the bow....
Was wondering how come you don't put the wheels up further to take more of the weight you think you would want to balance out the weight and let the tires take all of the abuse
I just got this same model with the bunks. I haven't used it yet but I'm waiting on my Old Town Sportsman Autopilot 136 to get here as well. I live on the water and honestly won't need to use this often but it was the on Old Town support team recommended to someone in the Q&A section of the kayaks website. Great video! I've been watching some of your videos the last couple of days and just decided to subscribe. Cheers and happy kayaking!
I can't understand why these kayak companies aren't implementing OEM landing gear built right into the vessel on the production line. I have an Old Town Bigwater 132 PDL with this same Malone cart. And fully loaded it is a royal pain in the @$$.
I bought a knockoff of the Malone standard cart for $50. If works “OK” on my Pungo because the hull is V shaped. It does poorly on my Tarpon due to the flatter hull shape. One tire went flat and I had to buy a non-air tire like yours. It is important that a cart has something to lock into like your back fin or line up with the longitudinal scupper slots.

Fantastic cart. I use with a Hobie Outback and Compass. My petit wife can easily load, pull and unload.
I use scupper hole cart but thinking of getting this one here👍💯🎣

I was wondering the same, just watched a video by Spilt milk and he shows the huge advantages from a weight perspective.
Works perfect for me 👍🏼
I have this one and it is the best I've ever used. Super strong and stable to haul a heavy kayak like my OT 136.

thanks and welcome to the channel!
I just upgraded to this cart from the CTug. OMG so much better. Got the balloon wheels, but also ordered the airless versions as well.
Can you travel a short distance without straps? Like 20 yards down to the boat ramp.
Getting my kaku zulu this month. Was thinking about the c tug one at academy.
How would this kart compare to the wilderness?

Hello, can you leave a link for the Ram mounts you have on your kayak? Thanks!!
Where can I get a hat like that you have another one I'll buy it from you
What cart did you use for your outback when you had it? I’m trying to avoid any scupper carts
