    Totally agree about the straps. I purchased one a few months ago and quickly realized how much more helpful a strap would be. Yakattack should just include it.

    I love when you do informative videos. Doing this kind of video is definitely your wheelhouse. Your video on wind and kayaking is on of the best videos. Thank you for all you do for the kayak fishing community.

    Thank you for the review.
    This cart will help me alot. Yakattack figured everyone else a bunch of extra straps.
    All Yakattack carts was on sale in April for all KBF Members. This one was $153 out the door.
    There is a small glacier lake in Hocking Hills that has not have boat access unless carried down a hill or a 1/2 mile trail. This cart will be perfect!

      1000%... you will be happy with that bad boy. Great purchase for $153 out the door. Thank for sending it to me and letting me get my hands on it.

      @@wendellfishing No problem brother! With the weight capacity I'm going haul my wife's lightweight 12 ft sit in and my 10ft sit in with one trip to that small lake. Been wanting to get a boat in there for years.

    That’s what I need! The one I have if you don’t have it on just right, the wheel will rub on the bottom of my kayak thus creating a dug out mark 😢

    Is there any chance you could do a video on the bonafide sidekick? There's no video on people getting in and out of the water .

      I just put them up and down while I am in the water at the ramp.

    I have a Native Slayer ten like you and just use the Hobie cart which is stainless. I put my cart through the scuppers in the back well from the top when I’m ready to hit the water. No pulling a cart apart and storing in front hatch.

    Would be nice for to see a seat belt style strap system built on to the cart. Just saying. 😉

    Looks like a great option for those not fortunate enough to utilize Side Kicks. Still, it's annoying to pay that price and not include the necessary items. I hope YakAttack at least makes it known at the point of sale that straps are not included and may be necessary.

      @wendellfishing  25 днів тому +2

      I will give them that... it does say in the description that straps are not included but its deep

      @@wendellfishing Bad move on YA's part. Straps should be included or made very well known that they are necessary.
      Discovering after receiving will make a lot of people mad at YA and rightfully so. Can turn a lot of customers away from that brand totally and there's good competition out there.

    Have had mine for one season and don’t use strap,as the rubber bunks fit nicely in the hull channels. Once I’m at the water I simply put it in the back. Perception outlaw 11.5 rocks my world. Keep up the good work!

    • @wendellfishing
      @wendellfishing  22 дні тому

      Nice.. are you mainly rolling it on flat surfaces? I am guessing when you hit a lip, even though that rubber is sticky, will still pull down.

    • @paddlelikemad3584
      @paddlelikemad3584 22 дні тому +1

      Try to hit any lip or tree roots at an angle and still no problem since there is a good spread length wise, some time I’m going to try a strap to say I know how to set it up. Tight lines friend!

    This cart arrived at my house yesterday and I thought the same thing. Thankfully I have straps, but they just want you to buy their 30+ dollar strap I guess.

  • @johngoss3997
    @johngoss3997 18 днів тому +1

    I’ll say I’ve used this 20+ times now and haven’t had to use straps once.
    Maybe on extreme terrain I might need them but the rubber is very “tacky” and I’m shocked how well it holds my kayak in place.
