For those unaware Unknown Hinson was fired by the show’s creators after some less than positive political comments involving a beloved southern celebrity. This was already planned to be the final season beforehand but no Hinson was the nail in the coffin.
i think they learned the lesson with voice changing when their actor does a no no in the social justice society that we live in. they gave SB a new voice actor that sounds nothing like the main character, and it was the most criticized season by the fans. fast forward to rick and morty, Justin does a no no and now they went with similar sounding voice actors, and the newest season is good because we as fans are not focusing on the voice as heavily as we did with SB. They learned their lesson i think. i would be super pissed if rick sounded lik kevin hart or demi levoto lol
