Guys i am always so excited to follow your journey within pakistan and wow the landscape and the valley within the mountain is spectacular love the scenery beautiful
M pretty sure your youngest kid will surely be d only overseas kid of his age till now to reach K2 on foot. Amazing achievement by dat kid. Such a brave kid. About d video its like m on dis track by myself - Great Great Video
Dear in 1999 a family bring their younger kids 7 year just to Concordia and after that crossed ghandogoro also. Amazing family were they very inspiring and loving family i exp. 1999 July.
I am an Indian and I bow down to the beauty of Pakistan and it is blessed country to have such a varied landscapes Desert, Plain, Taiga, Tundra, Wetland, Mountain, Mountain range, Cliff, Coast, Littoral zone, Glacier, Polar regions of Earth, Shrubland, Forest, Rainforest, Woodland, Jungle, Moors and what not. Now I understand after watching this video that climbing K2 is not a joke and one need to have balls to climb it, track seems very difficult and one need to go through severely testing and have stamina and resolution to climb it.
This is for the first time we are experiencing this trek and for that we thank you for such intensive coverage all the way despite the fact it is the most toughest to get along. Hats off to Jones family 👍❤️
Remember that K2 is a harder climb than Everest, even though Everest is bigger. K2 summit attempts have a 23% death rate whearas Everest summit attempts have a 4% death rate.
I like how you keep emphasising on hydration and electrolytes. Someone who decided to go trekking but was ill informed and ill eqipped would really struggle so its important to detail all the small necessities

I feel like this trek is really raw and different than the rest. You walk thru sand, the freezing stream, narrow trail and rocks and what not. I feel like this is how it should be to have an ultimate experience
Wow. I give your kids & wifey 100/100 marks for this tracking. I would never be able to get myself up there, let alone bring my 13 & 11 year old sons like you on this treacherous track. Great videos
Welcome to Pakistan Jones family,I'm happy to see you guys in Pakistan. I hope that I could have invited you to my place and serve you some great food.Your family is so kind, you guys deserve to be given such hospitality and love.❤🇵🇰
It's not easy to record all this whilst crossing rivers and walking on the hard rocks. Well done Ronnie 👍 you deserve an Oscar and I love the way you and Amy explain everything. No doubt Amy is a good teacher
Man, you guys made me addicted to your videos!! Can anybody leak the remaining videos in one go? lol Loving every second of you video Jones and family! Beautiful, rugged mountains, amazing team work (the way Waheed and other people are helping you out on the trek) and family's care for each other (the way you were keeping you trekking stick on the right side of B-man showed your care on this treacherous trek for your son, I loved it being father of 3 and 1 year old)…. too good!
That’s awesome that you caught that on the trekking stick. It was quite an adventure with just a perfect group of people. The videos are still being edited. But I will get them out as soon as possible.
Where the Jones keep this wait Ronnie! 😉 It’s a good feeling to check UA-cam every other hour to see if you uploaded something, loving this restlessness for your videos lol
Where the Jones btw I am showing your videos to my wife to prepare her for the trek in future (once our boys are 10+), I know it’s long long away but already started delivering my pitch to my wife and using your UA-cam videos as presentations 😂
Your videos have captured true beauty of K2 trek, it indeed doesn't seem to be a piece of cake, it is rigid and only for those who true love and appreciate raw adventure. It's extremely amazing of you to film this one of it's kind vlog of the entire trek.
Kudos to you, Amy and especially the boys for this hard trek! I had to forward some parts because it looked a bit scary. Also, Aiden especially seemed to have enjoyed the trek and that beautiful landscape! Another beautiful video!
Family meeting at the portaloo's - classic!!! Really enjoying it so far!!! It' looks so tiring with all those rocks under foot😲 Loving the edits too👍😎😍
For the first time I am experiencing through your video a great view of our northern mountain region. It is a great beautiful landscape. Great experience. I think lot of folks will follow your trail.
Mr.Jones your kids are awesome and very disciplined and well behaved. I love the way you and your wife Amy have contributed to make them so sensible boys. Love your videos , thanks for showing these incredible northern Pakistani areas in detail. I have seen these areas first time on youtube. Great effort , keep up the good work Mr.and Mrs.Jones. Thanks a lot .
As a Pakistani I also didn't knew there is so much hot weather there. I always thought i would be so cold even in the summers. Thanks for increasing our GK.
Hello ,such a treet to watch your journey.very informative ,detailed & to the point. Wish we pakistanis can return your love .God bless you & your family .Ameen
Your videos are just amazing! they not only show the beautiful landscapes of my country to perfection but also your bond as a family. A special shout out to your sons, at such a young age they have so much courage and heart. Also I think A-Man got some time on his own on this trek and I think he relished it, as every young person does when he or she is coming into their own. Good luck for your future adventures!
Just like all the comments I have read I congratulate the Jones for their open mindedness about Pakistan and seeing the country through an unadulterated lens and for sharing their unique experiences with the world. You are a lovely family and have two amazing sons who are as open minded courageous and adventurous as you are. Your boys are getting a great gift of lifelong experience which will help them become well rounded adults. I am totally hooked on your videos. It was very impressive to see the hard work and dedication of your Pakistani guides, drivers and porters. They kept safety first at all times and were efficient, caring and kind as was your family. BTW the chapli kebabs were mouth watering!!
We really enjoy your videos, you saw Pakistan with the lenses of love, affection and with great interest and pleasure. We are looking for your second trip as we become addicted with your vlogs and hop you will remember Pakistan. Please talk to your friends and convince them to do visit once in a life
The good thing is we can watch them visit other countries as well. I like watching their videos and to me the destination doesn’t matter it’s just the family I want to watch what they experience throughout their journey and what they think about it. I like to watch them grow.
The Karakoram is a large mountain range spanning the borders of India, Pakistan and China. The range is about 500 km (311 mi) in length and is the most heavily glaciated part of the world outside the polar regions. The Siachen Glacier at 76 kilometers (47 mi) and the Biafo Glacier at 63 kilometers (39 mi) rank as the world's second and third longest glaciers outside the polar regions. The Karakoram has eight summits over 7,500 m (24,600 ft) height, with four of them exceeding 8,000 m (26,000 ft): K2, the second highest peak in the world at 8,611 m (28,251 ft), Gasherbrum I, Broad Peak and Gasherbrum II.
Your guide seemed to stumble at the beginning when extending his hand to help Amy. During my travel in Pakistan, I experienced this thing where men extending their hand to women to greet them was considered inappropriate. Shaking hands with women isn't such a big deal in India or most parts of the world, so it seemed strange. The man did overcome this natural inhibition in favor of helping, which is great.
The sun just blazes that time of the day. Hats off to B-mans for making that arduous trek. Waheed is so much caring lad. The track along the roaring river was really scary but you people toughed it out bravely. And salute to your porters (mules/horses) for hauling heavy loads.
Drone shot was amazing+very nice scenes you got there, also it's kinda getting very interesting, oohhh just wait! Not that litter again??!! LOL,anyways we may need to upgrade those toilets & place some tents & tables too, that would be really good & that guide was cool too.👍

The kids did amazing.. At times the route looked very dangerous and scary ... I feel the government should do more in terms of bridges n safer routes... ..I guess that's why they call it K2
Mr. Ronnie you have share the videos of cooking during the trek plus what you eat and night time how the sky looks like plus any activity after dark. I think it will make those trek videos more excited!

There are still 10 videos to go so be patient and know that any suggestions given will most likely will be in vain as well...it’s been months since this trek occurred.
Thanks alot for the video - You made me nostalgic, I belong to that part of Pakistan - And living in Germany - And a coincidence, I bumped into your videos after a long day of hiking in South of Germany to the highest peak "Zugspitze" that is 2962m and my hometown is 2438m back home :)
