These have electric auxiliary water pumps. Iv had them fail numerous times on that engine. Small black round units. Usually 3 of them fitted. Easy to test and to get to. When all three are working. Take expansion cap off. Ignition on. Not running. You can see coolant flowing. When there all working. Hope this helps a bit. With the cooling issue.
Hi pal , just a note . The calculated soot levels are just that . The ecu analysis 02 , air mass, exhaust temps , engine load ect from those values it calculates soot load . I've had problems where the calculated mass was increasing dramatically but the measured mass was showing next to nothing. Turned out to be the o2 sensor faulty with a rich signal. Which in turn was bumping up the calculated value. Cheers
Hello Sandy. Sorry to drag up a old video. I’ve got the exact code fault on my partners Polo with the same engine. Tried to re a regen and failed. In limp mode. If I get this adaptation reset will it take it out of limp mode? We was getting no readings from the DPF sensor so changed that now we get readings and they are within range.
@@sandyande a friend has Autel. So will use that. Thanks for the reply fingers crossed no other issues. A mechanic told me the engine was broke and mentioned the oil bypassing the pistons. But I’m not mechanic. But the only error code is the same as you had
There are 2 places, down the fat pipe on the dpf pressure sensor down the back, or if you can get the fat lamber sensor off at the top, down into there. But they are on well so your gonna need a blow torch and a rubber hammer and big arms.

Having the exact same problem with my car, same lights same car, year etc. After changing the code did it come out of limb mode also
After the adaption was done it came out of limp mode

Brought my car to get diagnostic check, cleared it was just carbon build up, had to bring it a long drive

If you were to use the dpf doctor solution where does it go in, I have the exact same problem on my 2012 sLine 1.6 diesel A1
