This video is a godsend after having to deal with 4 year old outdated optimization guides. Is there any plans to make a control guide as well? I haven't touched WT since 2014 and it feels like a lot of new controls were added since getting back into the game. I'm not sure if there's new keybinds to be mindful of while trying to get my HOTAS setup. Thank you for making this video! ^^
Ya, i will eventually get around to a controls guide. I have just been taking some weeks off WT. I did it so much i burnt out. But I will get around to it.
the cockpit instruments looks blurry doesnt matter the settings you apply for VR, the problem is the lack of pixel density change for the VR. In DCS I use 1.5 and looks amazing!
Ya they are always a bit blurry due to that. WT doesn't really cater to VR like other "true" flight sims do. But since I don't have to directly interact with the buttons, its not a big deal. At least not to me. What is more important to me is that the cockpit is passable and I can make out enemy aircraft really well. Its a trade off im willing to live with.
@@lastlotus5064 I try to keep it around 144hz, but it usually averages around 120 to 130. Anything below 90 and i have a hard time playing. So these setting are to stay in that range.
Heat Haze actually sucks a lot of graphical power. I didn't realize just how much it uses at the time.
Beautiful work. I don‘t good speak on English but it‘s perfect video without backet of water in. Thanks for it. You doing a great job
Thank you for this, will try these settings

Turning on the Super Sampling feature inside SteamVR settings also helps a bit as well.
