      supahsmashbro that's the thing. What makes a comedian great? When he can laugh about himself. That's what it comes down to, really. If you can't laugh about yourself, you can't either make jokes about yourself or laugh at jokes about e.g. your race, sex or political stance. I loved her reaction, it was so... human. That's the best way to describe it. She didn't get defensive right at the start, she thought about it for a minute and figured "shit, he's right XD".

      She gave the reason why she reacted the way she did, at the end. She said how she was raised by a single father, because of that, she was taught to think in facts, not feelings and also not brainwashed and indoctrinated into the cult called feminism

    I agree with him. The laws were created when women were housewives. These days, I think the laws should be updated to reflect women are self sufficient and child support should be reasonable and shared.

    • @Walking-MY-Path

      And the Alimony too.

    • @magsbayou
      @magsbayou 4 роки тому

      @@Walking-MY-Path if both partners are self sufficient, there is no need for alimony. However in situations where couples agree one stays home while one works, i can see a period of time where alimony is given but it should not be indefinite.

    • @Walking-MY-Path
      @Walking-MY-Path 4 роки тому

      @@magsbayou Can't argue with that. I have to agree certainly if that is the case. If the couple doesn't have kids then the man shouldn't have to pay Alimony but if like what you just said then I agree as long as the mother was stay-at-home and was taking care of the kids.

    As an American fan of yous guys. Your perspective on American systems is spot on. but idk if any system is perfect. Initially the alimony law (payments), was to help keep the women, or men,( but its a big majority being women who get the payments). take this example. young couple sets up shop early and the man only works, while the woman stays a homemaker with the kids, not having a job or skills... the alimony system was set up to help those types of people out from being homeless, but its a system VERY easily manipulated, like if the girl doesnt remarry, find permanent residence for over a year, or get a job, the system requires the man to continue paying alimony sometimes to the point they die.
    alimony when my parents split up was $1,000 a month, for 6 months. then my mom and I moved from my aunts house into an apartment, then the payment help stopped, and the split up ended there... mine was the typical citizen story of it. while the 1% that are super wealthy end up paying $50,000 a month to people for decades that don't need/deserve that amount. sorry this ended up a longer comment than planned :P Haha. Peace Y'all.

      In California, you divide all assets down the middle first. I agree with all this.

    • @seigeengine
      @seigeengine 6 років тому +10

      Assets shouldn't be divided equally either.
      Each party does not bring equal means to the relationship, and marriage should not be designed in such a way to be a means to steal from others.

    • @seigeengine
      @seigeengine 6 років тому +4

      Bit too much sexist tone for my tastes, but my family is generally chocked full of industrious hard working women who tend to be equals in or the dominant party in their relationships.
      To be clear, my opinions don't stem from my opinions towards women, they stem from a rejection of poorly designed systems that enable victimization. While that victimization may typically be of men by women, that doesn't change that the system is poor to begin with. It's as true in the other direction. A man should not be able to take more than the share he brings to a marriage from it, unless doing so is by some agreement between the two parties.
      This is actually one of the aspects I found that impressed me regarding Markus Persson AKA Notch AKA guy who made minecraft. As I read it, years ago, he was married, had a child with the woman, they divorced, he kept all his wealth, she was okay with that, he helps support the child, but entirely voluntarily. It's this queer shining example of a couple of adults demonstrating maturity and responsibility from an entirely unexpected source.

    I guys, first time commenting and new subscriber, I totally agree with you about the false rape and sexual assault accusations being made more and more. Two years ago I dated a woman for 9 months who out of the blue reported me to the police that I was her stalker, after I was interviewed under caution and the next step was being arrested, but fortunately for me I had my evidence with me in the form of receipts from meals, cinema tickets etc plus the Whatsapp messages which proved that we were in a relationship, this of course she hadn't told the police when she made her complaint. I was released without caution along with an apology from the police and then also told me that they were going to speak to her again and this time under different circumstances. I have not heard from her or the police since then, but I still keep those receipts and messages just in case.

    Just ran across your channel, love seeing fans of comedy and Ol-billy red nuts (MMPC fan as well here). I simply love how he sees the world. No filters, just right to the bone comedy with a dash of anger and his own hilarious personality.
    As for what its like in the USA and divorce, i live in a state that favors the mothers more so than most the rest of the nation so when my brother was getting divorced, we were worried sick and here's why:
    My brothers now Ex wife walked out on him and her two daughters WITH her lover AND had a baby with him before the divorce could finally go through (nearly 2 years). My brother was worried sick she would get the kids despite her abandoning him and their kids and other things he discovered during the near full year with out a word from her, (drugs, Facebook messages detailing cheating, the works), all this and he was scared to death it would not be enough to keep the kids because of the way the system is here.
    Happy ending though, the divorce was settled out of court and my brother has full custody of the kids and his Ex has visitation rights once a month. Still, there are many fathers who are well and beyond fit to take care of their kids but the courts just bend over for the mothers once the tears start rolling.

    Alimony is a layover from the days when women weren't common in the work force, when men were needed to support the family. It just happens that Feminist groups(since you brought them up...) lobby like heck to make sure it doesn't get repealed, changed, or removed. If you want a bit more info in a brander sense, I highly recommend "The Red Pill"(a documentary by Cassy Jaye - an ex feminist herself) as a starting off point for research.

    i love what you guys are saying, i raised 3 kids by myself because my wife lost it. and it was still an expense for me and my children. because the laws favor women . 3 yrs to get custody she not 1 wanted visitation.
