Very useful, clear guide to malts. Helped me a lot. Thanks! :)

Thank you as I tried to keep it very simple and to the point. Using the silica bags to avoid moisture in the dry malt has been my best decision ever.

Thank you for the kind words and I am dying to go to Germany someday to visit as it is at the very top of my bucket list based on family and ancestry.

@@BitterRealityBrewing i figured that you must have some German in you, especially when you like to brew all those german beer styles😉 ! it's funny, because for me it's the opposite way - I'm German and I like to brew those American beer styles, such as APA & IPAs. I think it has to do with the hoppiness, as beer here is served rather easy on hops.

@@braufritze8673 I can relate as I have that theory we all want what we can't have or at least can't acquire easily. Somethings are better appreciated when we can have them all the time. For a bit of entertainment, my wife had me do the Ancestry thing 3 or 4 years ago and we knew I had a lot of German ancestry but Ancestry.com showed 3 circles (Germany, Ireland, and Norway) with a few tiny circles around Europe but last year they sent me an email saying they had refined my DNA ...so now I login and I have one giant circle from the bottom of Norway to south of Austria and this is what they call "refined". Either way some day I'll get over there to see all the cool scenes and checkout the local breweries that have been around for longer than any of us have been alive.

@@BitterRealityBrewing I'm curious, maybe I will find someone of my family members on a whole different continent too. Have to try it for myself I guess. Thanks for the link. Will check that out. And when you come over to Germany let me know, I'll make sure to provide you with a proper craft brewery tour 😊👍

Could you please make a vedio on how to malt and how to know when its ready to be dried and then powdered?
I am using it for making petri dishes for mushroom cultivation
    Thanks

I probably should as there are a ton of awful videos out there on how to malt grains but that might be a bit down the road for me so here are some current videos that I actually think do a decent job but ultimately it might be cheaper to buy pre-malted grains. ua-cam.com/video/1W0Nt2hp1vs/v-deo.html and here is another one that I felt did a nice job ua-cam.com/video/dmv_MlcvHDU/v-deo.html .

@@nawam.5688 Let me know if you have a way of sharing your mushroom cultivation (FB, YT, Imgur, or other) as I subscribe (under my personal account) to a handful of people cultivate mushrooms mainly using sawdust but I love mushrooms and really find it amazing. (When I say sharing I mean visually not the actual mushrooms.)
