Cool video. Maybe you can advise on my situation. I have one that worked great at first but I ran some paint that needed to be filtered through it and after cleaning many times with water, it sprays a much heavier pattern than it did before. That is on the low setting. Before I could spray a fine mist but now, there is much more paint coming out. Is there an internal filter I can clean or replace. Help,,,, this has only been used a few times and I have a Graco X7 that I have been using a lot for 4 years and zero issues.
Have you tried a different tip? They come standard with a 4 inch and 12 inch. Try them both, see if there's a difference in the pattern from one to the other. They don't last forever, I change mine out every few projects.
Great video very helpful. I need your help. I took my 360 unit apart to clean and lubricate the seals and now I'm left with an extra O-ring. I looked at all the schematics I could find. Any ideas where the O-Ring could go? I really hope I didn't brick my gun. Much appreciated!
Hello I bought a Graco 360 D'S from someone online and it worked when I got home and plugged it in. So I went to use it for the first time put paint in it squeezed the air out of the bag and turned it upside down and primed it. When I went to spray it made a winding sound then shut off and wouldn't even work. It's not overheated cause I never got a chance to use it. Any ideas on the problem?
Opened mine up and the little white plastic 90 that connects the pump assembly to the other half was broken. Anyway I can find that little plastic piece?
My sprayer stopped and I found the plastic 90 broken in mine too. I called customer service and was told that this was not a replaceable part. I am not giving up though. I am currently looking at 3D printing a piece to snap back on the end of the piston rod. If this works, I will link a video to this comment. 06/21/2023...I will know within a week if I am successful in my repair.
@@jeremycrabb6056 i hope it works for you. I finally tossed it out and purchased the updated version. 3d printer is the way to go as customer service told me i had to order the entire
Some parts are available for purchase on the Home Depot website and a few parts are available on Amazon as well. I haven't needed to contact Graco directly yet, however other pros I talk to about their support for their products have said they are very receptive to parts inquiries for repairs etc. For me, it was more cost effective to look for a used parts unit on Ebay vs. Buying what I needed new anyplace else.... at this point, even in working condition, some of these units sell on ebay for about $150 so depending on what fails, it may sometimes be best to just buy another one used on ebay.
Having a similar problem Reseated that ring and poooooop....nada...still being a leaky shit....graeco wants $145 for a new pump when it is very obvious to me the problem is the rubber Nitrile rubber fails when oxygen hits it....shouldn’t be a problem when paint hits it right? Wrong Paint contains oxidizers which cook it onto a surface and over time fuck up the rubber seals Can you get new ones?.....nope I’m sitting in my shop staring at my gun contemplating epoxying the rear seal in lol Idk
So, if I were working on your machine, I would start looking for a parts unit on ebay. The overall cost of these sprayers as whole has gone way down, even in operating status.... you will likely find a parts unit for around 50 bucks on Ebay.... between the two, you can srart swapping whatever you need to likely come up with one working unit. I have noticed that over time,.more and more little annoyances with these, but if you're patient enough to salvage parts and tear them down... you get more than your moneys worth when on a job,.or completing projects at home. Still my favorite hand held airless sprayer to date even with its flawed nuances.... Best of luck sorting yours out, been there, done that lol .... and patience is always a virtue 😎🍻

Thank you! Is that pump body ABS? Or nylon maybe?
It's definitely high density plastic of some sort. Maybe even like a combination of poly and nylon.. almost like skateboard wheels.
@@davidcarotallc73 Thanks!

Is the little steel piston rod supposed to be straight or slightly bent

This is very bad on Graco. For such a small part, you need to replace whole pump. Very very bad ofcourse.
Nice job and pick up. Are parts readily available or best bet is to get a “parts” one?

That stupid little white plastic piece on that rotates the pump broke in mine. Graco won’t sell that. They’ll only sell a whole newbpump
