We use the 20v version with the dewalt batteries of this kind of sprayer. I think it's the graco ultimate max we got it from sherwin Williams. It works great. We use it mostly for spraying porches and small stuff since it's faster to pull this out of the truck and clean it for small jobs then our graco 395. I used it on a storage shed last week even. It worked great used a 514 fflp tip. Took about 20 mins since I had to refill the cup about 4 times. But for small jobs it's been a real time saver. They are not cheap around 600 for ours but the pump can also be replaced too.
Yea that wasn't covered good in the video. Water for water based/latex paint and mineral spirits for oil-based paints followed by water clean-up through unit before storage!
sure, but this sprayer is designed to work without the need to thin the paint, wont hurt, but the finish may not look as great. Just make sure to clean thoroughly with mineral spirits after use, and flush the sprayer before switching to a latex paint after using oil based
Hi there very detailed video awesome. By any way can you please let me know what is the input power Amps OR watts needed to run this product?. As we live in NZ 220Volts i will have to buy a step down after importing it. Thanks
I just left mine for a 45 minute run to Lowe’s and the sprayer seized up on me. No longer spraying despite trying every troubleshooting tactic on UA-cam, making a funny noise, and I’m regretting my purchase
I've cleaned mine really well and after the 3rd use it won't spray at all. It turns on and sounds like it's going to work but nothing comes out when you pull the trigger. I've used water and mineral spirits and still nothing. Any other suggestions?
it depends on the paint that you used while spraying, that is why it is not specific. Water is fine for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil based paints.
Exactly what I was trying to find out. The Fuji paint sprayer videos say to use paint thinner. Seems like overkill but many comments on here suggest they are not getting very good results with just using water.
It's great when it works but the problem is still the same as the 360 from 5 or more years ago I even have pictures. The plunger or shaft that goes back and forth with a plastic joint. First off it shouldn't be plastic it's obviously eventually going to break which it did on the newer version and we only had it for four months. Second where the shaft goes in and out it leaks and eventually drys causing the shaft to seize up and not move. Which in turn either breaks the plastic or wallows it out if you want pictures and proof of them using cheap parts and not fixing it for literally years and years with the same issue I got pictures from today
Do yourself a favor, save your money and purchase a real paint gun. This item is junk and belong to the garbage can, this is where mine is going to end up. One spends more time in PAINFULL cleaning and just trying to get the damn thing rather than actually painting.
Does anyone know if the sprayer can sit overnight if additional coars are needed? Or do I have to clean after every coat?

Do you use water or mineral spirits when cleaning?
@@mikel35609151same question
@@mikel35609151water with regular paint, mineral spirits for primer.
What's the appropriate cleaning fluid?
Yea that wasn't covered good in the video. Water for water based/latex paint and mineral spirits for oil-based paints followed by water clean-up through unit before storage!
If you don't clean it right away, ur screwed
Just bought one. I like it. Works great!
Funny thing with this video.. all they did was put paint in reservoir. They never sprayed it. Nozzle was clean.
What is the Appropriate cleaning fluid? Can I run mineral spirits? I can't find this answer anywhere....wtf.
It will depend on that type of product you are spraying. Mineral spirits for oil based paints, water for acrylic, etc
We loaned ours out and they did not clean it out. Any tips on how unclog it once the paint is dry?
Did you ever get it to work? Mine wont spray :/
@@Vanguardcredit cleaning thoroughly after use immediately is essential otherwise most likely the unit will not function again and it's a total loss.
Can I use oil paint after diluting it with thinner, since in my country it is oil paint?

Spent several hrs cleaning my sprayer n no paint come out of the paint tip. If I remove the paint tip it paints.
Then your spray tip is clogged
He definitely doesn't spray that a lot

Love mine!!!!
How long can you leave water-based paint in the gun between coats? Or do you have to clean it each time?

@@alexm1841 Bummer! Sorry to hear that!

Did you turn the tip 90 degrees while you went to Lowe's? The tip might be clogged with dry paint. Have you tried using a new tip?
While I don’t recommend it, I’ve wrapped plastic around the front of mine and left paint in it for days without a problem. I guess results may vary.
@@user-zz8ln3uh5x left mine for just over an hour and it was fine. Just cleaned off the tip with a damp rag and was good to go no problems.
my spray is not release ING the air
Jayson Daniel ok
Call grayco
Your cup might be crossthreaded or not tight enough?

Try Priming it before spraying. I find that when I forget to prime mine before spraying it won’t spray. Make sure there is no air in the bag.
@@rileyjo22
If you spray with the cup upside down it will work without priming.
try a new tip
try a new paint sprayer because Graco is trash.
When I cleaned mine, it looked nothing like that. This video should be more realistic.

“Cleaning solution” almost like companies are being veg on purpose... what cleaning fluid? Mineral spirits? Water? Soap and water??? Acetone??
I know, right? I came here to find out what to use to clean it. This video is dumb as hell.
it depends on the paint that you used while spraying, that is why it is not specific. Water is fine for latex paints, mineral spirits for oil based paints.
So irritated 😣 second video I’m watching made by graco they just say use appropriate cleaning solution
!?WHAT IS APPROPRIATE SOLUTION ?!
Water for water based paints. And mineral spirits for oil based

@@redsalem7686 paint times works great
That’s what I used a specially for spray tip
This thing sucks to clean, they need to make the tip assembly removable…otherwise good sprayer.
No coming back when it's gone it's gone no repair procedure throw it in the bin very sad
Michael Floyd incorrect, I just had mine repaired at home depot because my seal broke
Yeah I had paint n cleaning solution everywhere. Ha! Ha !
biggest POS I have ever used, no sump hose,, you have to squeeze the paint up to the top of the pump to prime. Really Graco ?
You have to purge the air out first with the valve.
This thing is pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it,
lol this is a plus, not a minus. would you rather a metal cup that prohibits spraying from all angles?

This is wrong and wont work. You have to run a lot of water or take apart wvery other time to clean and ill tell you why in the next comment.

You need a a house to touch the bottom it’s hard to start this gun
Yea, anything is tough to do when your a retard I suppose
This video is a fraud. They did not run paint through the gun before making this video. It took me three hours to clean the gun.
Piece of crap! Clogs all the time, on my second sprayer. The idea is good but the product sucks!
This is the worst piece of equipment I ever purchased. It never works!!! POS!!!

For small projects it is great. No brush strokes. I use it for a couple doors or trim. Basically less than a gallon of paint.
Buyer beware, they're junk.
