The flair of this mod is realism considering infantries are small in size compare to modern tanks and especially mcv, which is canonically football sized building. And also the economy seems good
That mod desperately needs to put unit symbols next to the infantry, it's almost impossible to distinguish them from the terrain, let alone each other.
very interesting, although this is not a mental omega))) I highly recommend putting a cover from RadioTapok instead of the classical anthem of the USSR, then it will be top!
Is this the newest version using the new Phobos Build? I heard that Mental Omega is getting updated to a newer version using that build as well. They said it'll be able to support more advanced features than the vanilla RA2. And also, are those Russian VOs from the ROTR Mod? Because it sounds familiar, tho I could be wrong, since I haven't played 20XX for a while.
So normally, buildings are captured just with 1 engineer, right? Multi-engineer capture changes that. It would take 3-4 engineers to capture a full HP building.
Wow, this mod looks kinda kino. and more importantly it's not as hectic and high energy as mental omega. I love MO but you just can't catch a break in that mod, 1 minute in and the AI sends a billion spies after you, when he doesn't even have radar of battle lab, he just needs a barracks.
This is Red Alert 2, right? So, there's kinda no point of having more factories, other than having faster vehicle productions IN the primary building itself...
Because RA and RA2 canonically connected with some minor changes Mods usually just adding new stuff apart from MO Which remake the entire stroy of RA2 and explain it chronologically and expanded the story even more
Seems grounded and not over the top - Mental Omega was mostly bad because it was like RA3 on steroids and only the MO Soviets made thematic sense. If anything, RA2 needed precisely this RA 20XX treatment - more like RA1, less like RA3 or Tiberian Sun. The execution of RA 20XX wasn't perfect but very good effort nevertheless - the important part is that RA 20XX is headed towards the right direction, unlike Mental Omega.
Sorry, I'm kinda late, but what is the difference between Ra1-2, Ra 20xx and Ra 3, CnC and Mental omega? Right now I'm playing MO campaign for Soviets, it does have it's own problems, like strange hardcore desicions, when you have constant pressure because of necessity to manage multiple fronts, lack of room for creative thinking, constant waves of enemy attacks coming from nothing (aka reinforcements)/relying on your own reinforcement, bitchy missions, where you have to play without construction/production/economy in a game about construction/production/economy but with a squad of units. And again overdependence on reinforcements, which your game provides and which can be easily lost (especially stalin's fist). And also control over units and heroes sucks. Especially with soviets. Since you often have "special abilities" and "modes" for different units, connected with "deployment" button, when you want to push deploy, you trigger everyone selected in your army, which can lead to borillos deploying infantry, while desolators destroying them because of their spec ability. And buldog tanks doing nothing because their alter mode disables them from firing. About heroes... Well in campaign it is hard to manage them and not get killed, especially in later, multitasking mission (especially Chitzkoi). And you cannot rebuild them (atleast in soviet campaign, in last allied mission you probably can retrieve theme later). I mean, micromanagement is not really about RA 2 because of the specifics in design. Haven't played Ra 3 and CnC, thought.
Scorched Earth: [tries new mod]
Scorched Earth: [engineer rush]

Just how did you do those scorched earth emoticons.

Oh well
Eh idk T-72 is like shorter than me
@@unknowncommenter6698 well soviet tanks are generally much smaller than the nato ones
I can confirm that the MCV is 'at least' the size of a football.
>Realism
>Economy seems good
Bruh pick one.
Nice mod showcase.
Hope to see more.
RA2/YR Golden rule : Never leave your construction yard unguarded
Soviet Engineering goes : New construction option
Your buildings? Noo, _our_ building
That mod desperately needs to put unit symbols next to the infantry, it's almost impossible to distinguish them from the terrain, let alone each other.
Actually, that's a good suggestion. Gonna forward it to the dev
feels like RA1 on enginge of RA2
*CLOAKER CONSCRIPTS NOISES INTENSIFIES IN THE DISTANCE!!*
Kinda like Mental Omega did it?
The visuals and audio of this mod are fantastic
What a realistic mod. And the Engineer strat still somewhat works!
The adjusted size of the infantry makes the Terror Drone even more, well, terrifying.
4:24 he didn't see it coming hahahahaha
What a glorious video to watch ,
Imma download this mod sounds nice. Looks good and lastly i need a new mod i got bored of RotE
Try reloaded
It's got optimization issues right now but yeah, I'm loving RA 20XX's creative direction and atmosphere.
very interesting, although this is not a mental omega))) I highly recommend putting a cover from RadioTapok instead of the classical anthem of the USSR, then it will be top!
To this day, the lone flak trooper is still firing at the sandbag, trying to make his country proud haha
Welcome Back Commander.
good content
duuuude this looks so good
The legend is back
Dangit i keep forgetting to get this mod thanks for reminding me
birb
The mod of the engineers voice line is damn good like a real russian man
Tbh i wonder that mod
That's RA3's soviet engineer
Actually a lot of the voicelines come from RA3
Nice looking mod
oh hey, there's the redemption
nice!
that terror drone distraction at the end is probably incidental. cat probably doesn't know that drones can't infect tanks so they prioritize it
Wooo welcome back.. Are you real or just yuri clone?
Your thoughts are mine.
What's with the sudden posting? A surprise but a good one
Very nice looking mod, maybe I should try it. Though on my PC YR is a little glitchy, but maybe the mod will fix it?
Just like CnCNet solves MANY issues with the Game, if this mod is uzina it, it should have no problems
Yeah, what Andrei said. Mods generally fix the optimization issues vanilla installations suffer.
@@ScorchedEarthPH I'll definitely try it, then. My base RA 2 works fine, I replayed the campaign recently. But YR is glitchy...

Инженеры - имба и в игре, и в жизни 🤣
now it is historically accurate...
What is a terror drone if it cannot tear apart tanks??
Glorified robo dog
Costs $200 as well
Yup, it's some sort of a dog reskin, but better.
terror drones from a barracks O_O
atleast he has job
i fucking chuckled
That Flakdude, has at least a job!
I think mod that changes units' appearance is really messy
I can't even tell which is which
that move gg man :)
Cool!
where is the dancing guy up beat music enjoyment?
oh my god all that time to take a single f*ckn oil LOL
cool mod but one question? It same unit?
Nope, different tech tree and units.
Looks fun. So, what do you use for modding game? I'm kinda new to RA and sadly, can't afford it for now.
I keep getting a fatal string error every time trying this mod. how did you get it to work?
Never played this game always played the original RA on ps1. What's the soundtrack used in this video? Is it in the original game or part of the mod?
I never heard it as well, so it might be part of mod.
It's from RA 3. Also the units sounds are from RA 3 as well.
@@Shinesart the first one yes is from RA3 but second one more like classic C&C soundtracks.
@@fadillah6014 found it, it's from C&C 3 called Soviet march its on Spotify also 👍

4:29 What is "multi-engineer capture"? Never understood that

I'm surprised you had a stable game! This mod loves to have connection problems multiplayer.
I don't get the cameos at the beginning
Ah, "cameos" is the term for unit icons in the modding community.
My CD ROMs no longer work.
How long before it becomes an abandonware?

In this context, “at least I have job” takes on a whole new meaning, you’ve made the soviets more communist.
This is the shit is what you should post mixed with your comedy just review mods and meme the shit out of them comrade general!
i really love the music especially at the beginning =D
This is Red Alert 2, right?

In mp it's a good enough reason
Finally Somebody can Replace me from making content
only mod with good visuals
Is that mod balanced?
RA 20XX.
Not quite balanced yet. Mod link's in the description.
atleast he has job
ok i am sold for the unit discription im downloading it rn
Me Still waiting for Tib Wars content
cant stop repeating this video ..help !
does it mod have good AI?

why are soldiers wearing m40 helmets?????????????
Cat Tanker is a bully

weirdest factorio mod i ever seen

The terrain is really ugly in this mod
badly designed.. don't know what the fuck is going on.

its made up so poorly what I see
Or maybe you cannot distinguish which unit is which
I would love to see your reiteration of this mod, oh sorry, the improved one
