So sad. Glad you sat in on the training.
I could understand if she were giving people guidelines on how to deal with kids who say they identify as a different gender. But the fact that there is all this enthusiasm and talk about how wonderful and exciting this is should tell you all you need to know. This is a cult and these people are through the roof with excitement over how to push this ideology on small kids.
EXACTLY. These are TEACHERS, who are not trained in any of this, and shouldn't be dealing with this at all. At most they should know what steps to take with a child who brings this up on their OWN, but the proactive exposure is transparently in service to a different goal: normalizing strange adults talking with children about sex, and normalizing rejection of traditional family and gender norms to the point of medicalization for as many children as possible.
Their presentation offers no option of “no, neither affirm nor agree with pediatric “sex changes”, and I’d like to opt my child out. But instead purports “pediatric sex changes are very real, necessary and normal,” and asks, “what is your status on accepting this indisputable reality?”
EXACTLY, and to me, that's a violation of the establishment clause. They are treating this like a belief system one. must accept (b/c there is no scientific evidence in support of their claim that there is a "gendered" self the way they describe it)
