just to clarify, the Grizzly locker WILL work in 2012-newer JK's, however it does require a programer to re calibrate the traction control , not just re set tire size etc for the abs.
That's not how a posi works. A posi uses a clutch pack between the differential spider gears that places resistance on the differential action. It will deliver equal torque to BOTH wheels until the torque exceeds the capability of the clutch pack, and the excess torque will go to the wheel with the least traction. A helical diff sends torque to both wheels based off the resistance of the lesser wheel (usually between 2 to 3 times the torque of the lesser wheels resistance transferred to the greater resistance wheel. Ie, 50 ft lbs on the lesser wheel can send 100 ft lbs to the opposite wheel on a 2:1 tbr).
