Dude; your videos bring me peace. After a long day of running calls and losing my mind, I’ll put on some UA-cam and watch your videos and feel calm. Can’t explain it. Idk if it’s the background music, your narration or what, but keep up the good work brother!
Man! That means so much, thanks for watching. I appreciate it!
I have a video of starting the heat on the same units on a club I take care of , so when I started the heat on them I had water pumping out of all the combustion grills , from condensation inside the tubes in the summer. Talk about rusting out heat exchangers . They are junk
Great video. Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Your limit is tripped
Nice work man. Happy 4th July!
Thanks! You too!
Good to see you posting! I could watch your videos every day and still want more!
Wow, thanks! 😊
"Cold. Colder." 😆 Great job, Ryan! Going above and beyond on a Saturday with an NTE. Diagnostic skills are on point here 👏
Thanks Steve
Nice vid. Do you have a follow up on the repairs? I'm most likely starting commercial soon and every little bit helps
Physical troubleshooting always fadcinated me. I have heard from my colleagues in the field that York units are notorious for having problems, at least up here in canada
Great job Ryan has always.
Thanks! Have a great 4th!
Thanks Ryan you to.
Good stuff Ryan. Def a restriction at that orifice. Dude you are the king of finding bad heat exchangers. Have. HAPPY 4TH brother!
Thanks! You too!
Nice job Ryan
Nice work Ryan. See you on Saturday.
Thanks for watching
That is one of the dumbest things those Yorks will do. The heat lock out stops the cooling? 😅
Can't remember the brand but some residential furnaces will drop voltage on "R" when limit opens.
I was sitting here trying to wrap my head around that 🤣
Hey, got a heat exchanger because of it!🤷
@HughesManHVAC you kicked but on that!!!
@@AB_HVAC appreciate it man!
Great chance man...wonder who was doing the preventative maintenance
Not us
@@HughesManHVAC lol I didn't think it was..just making a point that a lot of people leave money on the table during them
Good job Ryan
Thanks!
How stupid of York to not separate the heating and cooling circuits safetys. I'd ditch the piston and install a TXV. Nice find Ryan
Thanks Jason! Think I’ll recommend that txv
I don't know... Do York unit's refrigeration circuits do both the heating an cooling? Or either they are separate, or the heater is electrical.
Its a pile of York.
I'm not an HVAC technician but I know s little about air conditioning and was wondering why on a 3 phase unit the condenser fans are PSC or capacitor start and not 3 phase? I've watched various videos on HVAC repair and even on 480v units the condenser fans have capacitors which I am almost certain means single phase
@DanT271 it's not really until you get into the larger tonnage unit's that the condenser fan motors go to 3 phase. My guess is it's a cost savings thing. Usually the 3 phase motors are also 1hp and above. These types use fractional horsepower motors.
@@jasonjohnsonHVACthanks for responding to my question I never thought of that
Happy 4th.
Happy 4th! Thanks for watching!
Do you Americans understand that this is the independence day. Not simply the 4th day of a month lol.
Good job Ryan ... Happy 4th ... Thx
Thanks! You too!
55 thumbs up
Thanks Steve!
This guy is definitely ai
Loved watching that but the background music was intrusive and horrible. Unnecessary .
4 minutes out of a 30 minute video music was playing. I appreciate you watching but if you hate it that bad feel free to not watch. 👍
No it was just a comment not something hateful.
