My brother Frank Cremer lived in this house with a friend for a very short time in 2009 - He passed away in August of that year due to a motorcycle accident on Cape Brenton Island. It is eerie seeing his name - his writing indicating the date of his retirement written on some door of a cupboard in the garage -
+Joanne Cremer Thank you so much for your insight and a little bit of history into this house. I am sorry for your loss, I hope seeing his mark wasn't to hard.
+H.G. C. A friend of my brother rented that house and my brother moved in with then in 2009. He was there for a few months, had a wonderful veggie garden. He left for a trip to Cape Breton Island the last couple of weeks in July of 2009. He had a motorcycle accident on the island and as a result of that accident passed away. I have no idea what happened to the people who rented this home no do I know who owned it. He had just retired and had ridden his bike for many years as was living one of his dreams. Unfortunately after working hard for many years did not get a chance to enjoy his retirement. Love You Bro - RIP
Joanne Cremer I think it’s crazy you came across this video and were able to realize your brother lived there. What are the chances!! Very cool. I am also sorry for your loss
i love watching these videos because I start to imagine the type of people that lived here and all the memories that were made! especially while this one isn't that old
About Frank Cremer: It says in his obit that at the time of his passing, he recently retired from Hogan Chevrolet Oldsmobile, and he was an avid gardener and motorcycle enthusiast. It mentioned that he belonged to a Harley Davidson motorcycle club. It also mentioned that he had a dog named Elmo. Apparently he died suddenly and unexpected at the age of 66. RIP Frank.
I drive by this place all the time! Now I know what it looks like inside! I love exploring to, always great finding what has been left behind and the treasure. You have a lot of great videos
This is the first time im seeing house of this structure. ..its a flat layout. .and what a huge basement. .its like a maze. ..thank you for the very interesting tour...
What an unusual house!! Haven't seen one of those ironing boards in the wall in a very, very long time! Great tour as always and thank you for sharing!! Take Care!! :)
Love this layout. Lots of room for kids to run. Good party house. The older homes are better sometimes. Garage a dream for a mechanic. Theres room for a pool! Nice videography...
Why in the world doesn't someone BUY this house? It is very beautiful! Everything about it, from the windows to the design! Somebody BUT THIS HOUSE and rescue it from oblivion!
Too much water damage in the basement, old electrical and probably infestation problems. It was a nice house in its day, but that day is long past gone. Better to tear it down, divide the property and bud multiple homes. Seeing that the battery clock in the garage was working, it couldn't have been empty too long.
The first room you're exploring there is a radio ham's shack - there's a large antenna just outside, and I guess it was used by members of the club. Nice to see the guys who passed commemorated in this way
when I became interested in these videos it was yours that I came across and found more interesting. The time u take the videos are well done and you don't rush .Take detail seriuolsy as well thankyou
This is my favorite of your videos, that I've watched so far. I wish I knew where this house was, because I would totally renovate it and make it my vacation home. Such potential. Thanks for the great video. Keep them coming!!
What an obsession with Harley Davidsons!! Logo stickers everywhere, magazines and that eery note behind the bar. Crime scene tape but at 11:19 you can see the entire roll of it on the shelf meaning that it was probably not a crime scene but someone using it to tape off the house.
The property was very deep and there is the 407 and hwy 7 reworking. So my guess is that the 407 bought out there right of way and then maybe development the other part. We should know in the next few years.
I know this house! Cool to actually see inside it. A highway was built in its backward (407) which I believe is which it is empty now - bought by the private highway owners. Many people had to move for the expansion of this highway
Judging by the general condition and the peeling paint, it looks like it has been empty for a while. I'm glad that it hasn't been vandalized, especially since it looks like all of the doors are wide open. It's a shame that no one buys and renovates it. I LOVE that woven slat wall.
Found that someone else has found MY house and did a video on it. Urban Exploration - Abandoned Ranch Style House Colin Explores. As I watched it, it just tore my heart out from all the damage and copper theives. I just about cried. Even tho I know that it's not MY house I still love it and have dreamed of placing mid-century modern furniture and building a pool and expanding to make another master bedroom etc. Oh well-I'll watch your video, that way I don't have to see the damage. Much love to you LR
I really enjoyed this video and truly appreciate the fact that you didn't talk through the video. This house has a lot of sad vibes left behind because it leaves hints of what the owner enjoyed in life. From your video the viewer can see that he was into radio because he had his radio room at the rear of his garage and he was into biking from the writing on the door of the radio desk. I live in a mid 50's brick ranch. Many of these have a fireplace both upstairs and in the basement. What's interesting is the garage is semi-attached, most are attached in these ranches. The clue to when the home was built is the wall material. In the 50's the wall would be made of plaster in the 70's , it would be made of drywall . Now I look forward to watching more of your intelligent videos.
+Edgetunes Wow, a very kind and insightful comment Sir, thank you so much for taking the time. I felt like I was venturing into a little bit of the previous owners lives reading those comments around the house. Actually gave me goose bumps. Please take the time to watching more of what I have to offer, I look forward to your opinion on thse ones as well.. Have a great day/!
I'm really surprised this house and property is abandoned, nice size, design, 2-car garage, circular driveway and good space of the property in the back.....if I had the property i would knock out the backside of one set of those large glass windows and put in french doors to a covered patio and enjoy that beautiful back yard.
If that cameraman is half as good as his filming, I'd imagine he's a bit of alright! 😉 Excellent video. The house is like nothing I've ever seen before. I'll say this much, their taste in interior design back then left a lot to be desired. Anyway peace to all and be safe when exploring. Many thanks and peace from Ireland 🇮🇪
Was a very nice home in it's time. Loved the bar down stairs!....and very nice to see it not all tagged up and torn apart by vandals!. Also it was sad to see the person work all their life retire and die a year later?? That stinks to high hell!.....Yes I saw the police tape right away....and what the hell happened to all the door knobs?? I could see this house restored...quite an expense but could be done...
He retired and just about a year and a half, he was gone. What a shame. I love this house, look at all that room! So much character! How nice would it be to wake up every day and have all that peace..some TLC and this woild be paradise. I can't understand why some of these places sit empty for so long. That is a gorgeous house, and if it were on the market in my area I’d be on it in a heartbeat. Huge yard. Two car garage. Three rooms on the main and the potential for another three in a plumbed, dry basement with a fireplace? I’d be more than happy to do the scrubbing, paint, and even drywall needed to bring it back up. The only minus is the road noise...and with basement bedrooms that would be tolerable.
the way downstairs was done, I would say it belonged to an outlaw biker group. The mini bar, the gym room ect and possibly got raided . ideal kind of layout for a child minding environment without t encroaching on your own living area, is you could have all the toys out and even a sleep area for the kids
How many Turdlets has this house have? In Good Shape, a little bit of work here and there, a fresh coat of Paint, and you r good, I especially like the Bar next to the Fireplace, could be a nice home for someone.
I'm imagining this house when it was new--which was around the same time that I was new! I imagine the living room walls were white and had pictures on them (modern art and some engravings, I think they're called, with white matting and with narrow black wooden frames or silver metal frames. I also picture one of those all-curved contour chairs with metal legs. There would be a big glass or ceramic ashtray on the coffee table. An earlier comment referred to "Mad Men" and this is just right for that era though the area around the front door reminded me of a set from the original "Star Trek"! I'm hoping good things are ahead for this house.
***** I disagree. Fireplace was poorly designed. Did someone ever live there? No sign of it. Outside was not developed. You could take down some of the walls and run a business there easily. Not homey or comfortable. No woman's touch. Quite a few closets though.
It looks to me like this one could still be saved before nature takes it's course. What a beautiful area. Before I saw the bathroom upstairs I thought the pink toilet in the basement had actually been installed there. It looks like somebody had started remolding. I'm curious about the police tape and the square boxes with X's on the outside. I was thinking new windows in those spots until I saw the front. Interesting.
Looks like a Mid-Century Modern with the roof angle and all the windows. Hard to believe it only had 3 bedrooms (not counting the basement). In its day it was a beautiful home.
LOL That's funny. I've been walking through that house in my dreams lately. Thank you for showing us around. I like all your videos. Take care & be careful.
Mid century furniture is making a come back...why not mid century houses. My childhood home had a pink and black bathroom with a big square pink tub. It was glorious and so sexy!
Did you skip the third bedroom on accident (looked like the master), the one to the left of the black tiled bathroom. The house was very cool! I could almost picture what the house looked like in its hey day with a black and white TV on legs in a corner and (now) retro furniture. Very nice!
Beverly Starr-Davidson We are all at the same page, lol. That was the master suite. I saw a bathroom inside of that room for a sec when he turns to the right. I think the attic erased his memory haha
I have not seen an ironing board closet in donkey's years (ruffly 60 years) I believe 'I Love Lucy' had one on her show. They used to be common. A cedar lined closet. Someone loved the smell of cedar.
Strangly built house, a bit too long for me, and somebody sure liked lavender.I love the view of the back yard,This house still could be fixed up really nice, wonder what the police tape was for??
Really a nice to her the house. It really wouldn't take a whole lot to bring this house back to life, in a livable condition. Take down that one wall in the kitchen, would allow for a nice open modern kitchen. Bringing cabinets and appliances. Clean up the walls with some pain, check electrical and plumbing. And you're good to go. It's really hard to find bedrooms the size of the ones in this house. I hope someone saves the house before Vandals destroy it.
Many resemble Mary Jane, but none can compare to the fine lady that she is. She's a special one of a kind lady. My life is so much better when she is by my side. In the words of Uncle Rick(James), I'm in love with Mary Jane. Lol 😆😍😘💯😁
It's only been empty since 2009?.. It sure went down hill fast. I remember houses looking like this one, in the early to middle 1960's although not as fancy as this one.
Wow..... I wonder what it'd be like if you got to see that house when it was real nice. I always wonder what it would've looked like before abandonment.
+Vinicius Vicentin Hey Brazil! My favorite thing to see is comments from viewers around the world! It would be a dream to travel and explore! I tried a fan fund forr a road trip, but I don't think I set it up right or sold the trip very well to my fans, I might try again. Brazil!!! Oh my what a thought!!! Thanks for your comment! Please support by sharing and subscribing!
***** Brazil has extraordinary places to explore! I do not have the equipment to explore these places and I lack time.I could try to make journeys exploring other places, great idea! Continue with their work, who knows may come soon.

Jeff Sinkic Is the house still vacant (recently)?
You won a new subscriber! Beautiful house.. Such a shame. Thanks for filming.
Dude, seriously, you find the BEST houses. You rock!
mohawk14616 I knew of this house, but my fan Licks lead me back here with her keen eye for abandonment ))
This is the first time im seeing house of this structure. ..its a flat layout. .and what a huge basement. .its like a maze. ..thank you for the very interesting tour...
asankaw1 A very observant fan sent me here, and this design is kinda unique around the area. You are very welcome for the tour ! ))
What an unusual house!! Haven't seen one of those ironing boards in the wall in a very, very long time! Great tour as always and thank you for sharing!! Take Care!! :)
Teala Powell with the little sleeve ironing board tucked in behind the big board!
Nice to see a place that hasn't been vandalized!
Susan Bullis I Agree )

Kato Khaelan Thanks Kato!
Fascinating all these abandoned pads! Great video, excellent capture. Thanks for sharing.
Pablo Donato My pleasure!!!
Drive past this beauty 3 times a week. No need to explore it now. Great job on the camera work!
Love this layout. Lots of room for kids to run. Good party house. The older homes are better sometimes. Garage a dream for a mechanic. Theres room for a pool! Nice videography...
Too bad they don't make houses like this anymore, this must've been such a beautiful home
Why in the world doesn't someone BUY this house?
It is very beautiful!
Everything about it, from the windows to the design!
Somebody BUT THIS HOUSE and rescue it from oblivion!
svjmmooo poop nanoo
+John Doe :)

Better to tear it down, divide the property and bud multiple homes. Seeing that the battery clock in the garage was working, it couldn't have been empty too long.
+rainbo5250 The area it's in may well have been rezoned...it happens all the time.
+ultimtdisc how can you see that clock working ? I can't and I've tried ! Just curious !
I can only imagine the laughter of children. Empty shells of the people that once were...
Casey Jacobson I know, this place would have been great for kids...just gotta watch the busy road out front!!
nothin like makin yourself at home!
If i could buy that house, that vintage plink loo would be put right back in the bathroom with the plink sink and tub.
Plink sink?
The first room you're exploring there is a radio ham's shack - there's a large antenna just outside, and I guess it was used by members of the club. Nice to see the guys who passed commemorated in this way
Pete Stean One of my favorite features!
when I became interested in these videos it was yours that I came across and found more interesting. The time u take the videos are well done and you don't rush .Take detail seriuolsy as well thankyou
I'd like to fix that place up and live there!
same here its quite beautiful expect its in front of a highway thats Why Its abounded. best be a heavy sleeper lol
I was thinking the exact same thing.
Looks fairly moldy… Black mold everywhere in the attack.
This is my favorite of your videos, that I've watched so far. I wish I knew where this house was, because I would totally renovate it and make it my vacation home. Such potential. Thanks for the great video. Keep them coming!!

Eerie? Obviously loved Harley's and that note was of a person with a goal...maybe off the beaten path, but that's a biker for you.
At first I thought it was Jimmy's house.
Great mid century ranch! Thanks
OMG! This house was sweet, i love all that room and many bathrooms! LOL
I like this house...lot of windows and built in storage.....thank you for sharing.
+romevicki1 it is always my pleasure to share my experiences with you thank you for watching and please share on your other social media

Abandoned Steve Thanks Steve, its always my pleasure!
Such a beautiful home. I'm loving all of the windows.
Beautiful and Ranch style have never been in my vercabulary!! lol
Thanks for going in and video taping this wonderful house. Always wanted to see inside. Amazing property before the 407 went through.
Kolin Douty I don't know if this one is 407 or development.. I am waiting to see..I do see that some demo has started...
The property was very deep and there is the 407 and hwy 7 reworking. So my guess is that the 407 bought out there right of way and then maybe development the other part. We should know in the next few years.

What a beautiful home, and those windows on the main floor to look out of would have been amazing...TFS this wonderful find with us. Pat
skooterbird I am so happy to share))))
That is one AWESOME sprawling Ranch home!! Thank you for taking me along for the tour! :-)
I drive by this house at least on a week now that I moved to Courtice and was going to mention this one to you. Glad to see inside!!!
Judging by the general condition and the peeling paint, it looks like it has been empty for a while. I'm glad that it hasn't been vandalized, especially since it looks like all of the doors are wide open. It's a shame that no one buys and renovates it. I LOVE that woven slat wall.
its because a high way/ free way was built in front of the home
This house should be restored it was beautiful at one time.
Its so very sad to see a home abandoned. The dreams and memories it holds. The structure looks very sound. I hope someone adopts it.
Found that someone else has found MY house and did a video on it.
Urban Exploration - Abandoned Ranch Style House

Anyway peace to all and be safe when exploring. Many thanks and peace from Ireland 🇮🇪
I love retro houses...this ones a beauty. With a little updating...this would be a neat place.
I lived in the basement here years ago. loved this house
+Karlee Puddister very cool, any insight into the house or previous owner? Why it was sold ?
Was a very nice home in it's time. Loved the bar down stairs!....and very nice to see it not all tagged up and torn apart by vandals!. Nice place! Coat of paint and move on in lol. Good find.
This home is better than mine. It is sad to see it deteriorate
He retired and just about a year and a half, he was gone. What a shame. I love this house, look at all that room! So much character! How nice would it be to wake up every day and have all that peace..some TLC and this woild be paradise. I can't understand why some of these places sit empty for so long. woild? lol..*would
I could so live there fix it up real nice and I would love living in it. it really is a beauty
Love this home!
Awesome find. Thanks for sharing.
Todd Maynor It is very cool )))) I am happy to share !!
I know of a house across from the Winchester golf club in Brooklyn ont. Canada that looks exactly like that
This is that house
Expropriated to build the stupid highway.
What a groovy house...good explore!
+bababooey7576 thank you my friend !
Classic, mid-century house. Definitely needs lots of work, but seems to have "good bones,"
How many Turdlets has this house have? In Good Shape, a little bit of work here and there, a fresh coat of Paint, and you r good, I especially like the Bar next to the Fireplace, could be a nice home for someone.
This house is perfect. Just needs some TLC. wish it were mine. Thanks!
+Jennifer Devereaux Your welcome!
Andrew Brendan Mad Men is a great correlation ))
Jimmy Slade
Wonder if he ever did that Harley Ride ride to New Foundland?
If the roof is intact, about 200k and some elbow grease, that gorgeous 1950's or 1960's style ranch house would be livable again.
The land is worth so much more though...100 Vs 1 is way more profitable to someone...I do love this house though...
What year was it built?
I'm a sucker for ranch homes and digging this house. If I have a job that allows me to work from home, I'd be all over this property.
inevahdie It is really a great design!
***** I disagree. Fireplace was poorly designed. Did someone ever live there? No sign of it. Outside was not developed. You could take down some of the walls and run a business there easily. Not homey or comfortable. No woman's touch. Quite a few closets though.

actually peacful that all the personal stuff is missing, leaves more to your imagination. In any case a monster house for one person...
Awesome finding.
Oh look a nice green Mary Jane.
What a shame that this house is abandoned. It is super awesome and I bet there are people who would have loved to have bought it.
I like that house and the land it sits on. If I had the money I could do wonders with that place.
I really dug the front of the house and the layout of the main level.
A great video, a lovely house - but two very sad back stories x
I love this one!!
+Leslie Maxwell me 2 ))
This has to be the strangest house I've ever seen! The layout is so weird!
Thanks for sharing- loved it!
Julie Barclay I am so happy you loved it! That why I post ))
Looks like a Mid-Century Modern with the roof angle and all the windows. Hard to believe it only had 3 bedrooms (not counting the basement). In its day it was a beautiful home.
+Lady Ravenswood Anderson I think I missed a room in error...I got distracted by the attic.. lol
LOL That's funny. I've been walking through that house in my dreams lately. Thank you for showing us around. I like all your videos. Take care & be careful.
In the title of this video you say its in North Durham? Is that North Durham, North Carolina? Or is there another North Durham? Thanks so much.

Mon Mi that's exactly my thought too. he was headed tward the back then that attic got him! lol
Beverly Starr-Davidson I didst even realize I missed that..I think the attic distracted me..I may have to return lol
I don't know why but watching your videos is like watching a scary movie. I'm always expecting something or someone to jump out from a corner. Lol

I have not seen an ironing board closet in donkey's years (ruffly 60 years) I believe 'I Love Lucy' had one on her show. They used to be common. A cedar lined closet. Someone loved the smell of cedar.

Wow..... I wonder what it'd be like if you got to see that house when it was real nice. I always wonder what it would've looked like before abandonment.
Kaylee Shebeck Every step made me think the same thing )))
I would so live there
did anyone else catch the police tape?
Why no, nobody else saw the bright yellow tape across the hall. Rme
You'd think it would say "mountie scene"!
Police line, do not cross - yep! caught it! LOL
That's the first thing I caught. I wonder what happened?
Tawina Gholson no I didn't catch it but I saw it.

***** Brazil has extraordinary places to explore! I do not have the equipment to explore these places and I lack time.I could try to make journeys exploring other places, great idea! Continue with their work, who knows may come soon.
look up the criminal story on some of these places , and or the estate fight over them and you would be surprised sometimes just why they are empty
poor dude didn't live long after he retired..sad ,he may have looked forward to it for so long
