I saw them in Houston in '79 or '80. They played 4 hours straight without stopping or missing a lick. Hands down the best concert I ever had the privilege of seeing. I still tell people about it to this day when friends and I talk about the live performances we've seen.

Then all of a sudden this young blond guy and his band come on and they were unbelievable. Tom was running and sliding across the stage. Have been a hugh fan ever since. Luckily saw him in St. Luois on the 40th Ann. tour. We have same birthday except Tom is 2 years older. Miss him every day!

I saw him in Vancouver, BC, 6 years ago and he was absolutely amazing! I'm so happy we took our kids with us (they were 16 & 13) as we had great seats on the floor and Steve Winwood was his opening act! I'm soooo sad we never got to see him just one more time...

As great as this song is..The acoustic version I saw in the late 80s at Lake Compounce in CT was a surreal experience. He really connected with just him and the acoustic..the band came in later in the song..A legend that was a very talented cool unique performer.
