Troy Wright performs "Libra" live with Intervals in Atlanta, GA at Terminal West. Troy's UA-cam channel: / wrightdrums Interval's Facebook page: / intervalsmusic
Luckily it landed in the hands of another drummer. My drummer lol that was a great night. We still talk about it. I'm the short long haired guy with the Btbam shirt on.
@@fuzzbunz1111 This is one of my favorite live videos because of you guys. Your reactions are priceless and so wholesome! And yeah, your friend definitely lobbed the stick tip-side up, and didn't flip it! Pro move
They need to keep this plintervals lineup together going forward and just make an official band. Cause they have great chemistry and it's just perfect.
He's a very accessible guy too.. Runs his own drum school here on the Gold Coast, Australia and teaches kids and adults how to play.. while running concerts and video records his students for his UA-cam channel.. He's an all round Superhero let's be real👨🏻🎤
Emil Rostad yeah dude I definitely feel that too; for a split second, like you, once I saw Aaron look like he was tryin to instigate a solo or somethin outta Troy, I got so hyped; ready & prayin, just waitin for him to do his thing..rip it up, per the usual, then (as you said) it was like he simply never caught on and executed...nevertheless, still never failing to deliver tho; only instead dude just slid right back into the pocket (or I suppose just stayed right where he already was = perfectly in the groove pocket) lol. glad I wasn't the only one who saw it either
Seeing Troy mess up was one of the thing that calmed me down when i first went on stage, I thought that if even Troy can mess up, then it isn't that big of a deal if I do.
nah, he deliberately made that mistake just to make him look like a normal human :) btw i love how Plini and Intervals smile... this video just heartwarming :D
Came here. Where a bit impatient. Immidiatly skipped to second 0:22. Saw him drop stick "thank good, that also happens to him.^^" See the whole getting stick back scene... Happy.
I throw my sticks all the time after 20 plus years of playing. Usually the right because my ride is sitting too far over the floor tom. He played it off great, lol.
Troy rockin the Tama slp dynamic bronze snare. Fuckin love this snare. He’s a pearl artist though. I wonder why he’s using this snare. He prolly borrowed it from garstka since animals was on the same tour. Maybe something happened to his pearl snare.
Mariano Andrés Sanín No you’re 100% right dude, I was confused by that too. He’s also playing a Red Sparkle Starclassic Kit. Not sure what the situation was, it could’ve been a touring kit or something, but it’s definitely Tama regardless.
2:17 even the great Aaron Marshall makes mistakes. So I guess we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves when we miss a note or two and just enjoy the moment like Aaron did
Braedon Bomgardner he left along with the rest of the band (besides aaron obvi) when they no longer agreed on what they wanted intervals to be creatively
obviously whatever it is, it's manufactured by Sabian. looks to me like it measures around 19" & I agree it looks to be from the "Paragon" series. if not then my next best guess would be a [19"] Holy China (also Sabian).
He had one throw that would judge his existence forever, and he landed it. Awesome video.

Alien shit
0:34 the dude who grabbed that stick is forever blessed.
5:13 happy ending
0:41 plini's reaction also priceless
Rui Carneiro at the end , free pairs of drumsticks !
the dude that got a pair of drumstick is really cool too! he's willing to share one of the sticks
Rui Carneiro yeah .
That stick drop and what happened after made this whole video worth it. Hahahaha.
Top notch professional.
I totally agree I think the thing that made it so awesome was that it was never expected or planned and he pulled it off like a true master showman
Plini cracking up and giving the thumbs up is great
after he lost his stick and smiled when he got it back sympathy was rising about 100000% even when troy is already the man 👌
They need to keep this plintervals lineup together going forward and just make an official band. Cause they have great chemistry and it's just perfect.
Plintervals is coming! Aaron said it himself!
I stumbled into both of them by complete accident, had no idea that had members in common! I'd love to see that
5:27 The dude actually gives one of the sticks to another fan. What a legend. Amazing.
yeah bro, Plini s Family..we share relics ;) Blessings
0:32 - The Fall of Troy

0:41, I have no words. The crowd, Plini and Troy's reactions -- fucking *gold*

"animals as leaders is next" dang sick concert!!
0:39 makes me happy for no reason
Troy seems like such a stand up dude! What a genuine guy for tossing some sticks back to that fan!
I love that he threw it back- made that a really cool moment.
Plini's reaction is also hilarious

Troy is literally the coolest dude in the world hands down
Krishna Bhola Having met and conversed with him for a bit, I can vouch for this. :)
He's a very accessible guy too.. Runs his own drum school here on the Gold Coast, Australia and teaches kids and adults how to play.. while running concerts and video records his students for his UA-cam channel.. He's an all round Superhero let's be real👨🏻🎤
That drum and bass improv in the 2nd verse followed by that little drum solo is just amazing
Plintervals was one of the best shows I’ve ever seen and it’s not even close
That bass sound is DIVINE..
He's always Wright!
That stick tossback restored my faith in humanity
that was one of the slickest moves i've ever seen a drummer pull off! love this band!!
He's definitely one of my favorite drummers! So nice!
0:43 Plini laughing af makes me feel happy
Those hi hats sound sooo good.
Troy kicks so much ass.... saw him a couple of months ago on tour with AAL and plini .... crushed it
Troy Wright is THE MAN !!!

0:41 Plini losing it in the background after Troy lost and then reclaimed his stick 😂😂

Such a technical part, and so many little things put in the exact right spots..just a stage full of true masters if their instruments!! Love this!!

0:42 Plini was so happy to see what Troy did.

Please tour with Plini and Intervals soon. You guys are amazing it has to be my favorite show of all time man
I love how Aaron was like Give me something troy lol at 2:33
He probably wanted a drum solo, but troy didnt catch on it seems. Great playing!
I mean the part right after is essentially a mini solo
Holy shit you really got this! You are my MAN!
wow I had no idea Troy played for these guys now. What a perfect fit he's a beast
Awesome vibe in this
Seeing Troy mess up was one of the thing that calmed me down when i first went on stage, I thought that if even Troy can mess up, then it isn't that big of a deal if I do.
He is soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good :3
I throughly enjoyed that👊
At 2:35 where he’s like cmon Troy give me more
i miss you troy!!!!
He’s loving ittttt
the hairy guys at the front were making me laugh all throughout the video haha xD
give troy wright a stick back and get a pair and a half stick as a reward. congrats sir
The best drum live performance so far 😂
Godlike!
that stick throwback was awesome!
nah, he deliberately made that mistake just to make him look like a normal human :) btw i love how Plini and Intervals smile... this video just heartwarming :D
DAMNNNNN SON!
Came here. Where a bit impatient. Immidiatly skipped to second 0:22. Saw him drop stick "thank good, that also happens to him.^^" See the whole getting stick back scene... Happy.

Great recovery! But also great throw haha
my jaw literally dropped wtf
Nice dude.. salute from malaysian to person giveback drum stick..
Troy drums so clean, reminds me of Alex Bent from Trivium. Solid af
Ah the ol box fan days
Wow...
Would have to be the greatest stick drop I've ever seen hahaha
0:43 Splash Riff TASTY!!!
To this day the stick throw has to be the coolest thing I've ever witnessed. I mean, what are the odds of this happening?
Over a year later and I still can't stop watching this shit... what makes it even better is that the catch is on beat and in sync with the snare lol
Still coming back to this
0:32~0:37 nice guys
2:16 second eighth note
I throw my sticks all the time after 20 plus years of playing. Usually the right because my ride is sitting too far over the floor tom. He played it off great, lol.
Does anyone knows wich amazing china is it?
Troy was playing on that tour with plini and intervals? 2 shows during one night?
wikialphamen128 It's a mesh of the 2 hence the name they use Plintervals
I saw plini last September with Nick Johnston and David Maxim Micic. Troy and Simon did all three sets
Hey guys! Could you please tell me what did you use for recording?
O batera segurou!
What are the drum sizes in this video? 🤔
troy never misses a beat haha
Came to see the nasty drum fill at about 30 seconds...ended up seeing something better.
Tony looks like Ronnie from Jersey Shore
is that @epicfivetv
2:18 wow he managed to catches the beat ,basses really had a connection thought...
1:58 sheesh
Troy rockin the Tama slp dynamic bronze snare. Fuckin love this snare. He’s a pearl artist though. I wonder why he’s using this snare. He prolly borrowed it from garstka since animals was on the same tour. Maybe something happened to his pearl snare.
the intro to this song sounds like South Town by POD
Alex Boye not even slightly....
Taco Crisma hahaha done
is that snare drum the Tama SLP dynamic bronze?
Mariano Andrés Sanín think he plays Pearl! Could be wrong though
nah from everything I've seen with Troy he definitely plays Pearl drums, uses Sabian Cymbals, & (I think) at least some DW hardware.
Mariano Andrés Sanín No you’re 100% right dude, I was confused by that too. He’s also playing a Red Sparkle Starclassic Kit. Not sure what the situation was, it could’ve been a touring kit or something, but it’s definitely Tama regardless.
0:38 epic moment
A banda errou!
That's what happens when you roll a 1 followed by a nat 20, guys.
Any one know what kind of stacks those are?
Timothy S he uses an 18" HHX Ozone Crash over a 19" Paragon China
Thank you kind sir!
Plini is so high at 0:41
What was the singer a mute??
2:17 even the great Aaron Marshall makes mistakes. So I guess we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves when we miss a note or two and just enjoy the moment like Aaron did
It just went into different time signature , because of his mistake and resulted into something cool though
0:31
The box fan lmaooo
What happened to Anup Sastry!!!!
Braedon Bomgardner he left along with the rest of the band (besides aaron obvi) when they no longer agreed on what they wanted intervals to be creatively
0:41 plini losing his sides
His china cymbal sounds sick!! Who's know this china cymbal called??
吳品億 Looks like the 19" Sabian AAX-Treme China
It's a 19" *Paragon china.
BionicleSaurus The bell is too big and the logo is all wrong for it to be a Paragon china.
It's a paragon china. Troy has always used one. Asked him myself.
obviously whatever it is, it's manufactured by Sabian. looks to me like it measures around 19" & I agree it looks to be from the "Paragon" series. if not then my next best guess would be a [19"] Holy China (also Sabian).
the dude who caught the sticks looks like plini's lost brother
