here's the pattern! i wrote it down for easier reference, hopefully this can be helpful for those who prefer reading the pattern
25:34 for round 11 the [dec, sc] is supposed to be repeated 7 times right? As I was following the pattern I was very confused as to why I didn’t have the right amount of stitches
@@Kpop3Hearts yeah I did it too and it's supposed to be 7×
your channel is sublime
tank you so much! this pattern is adorable.
Tysm!! I much prefer written patterns and often have to write down videos or go off these comments so you saved me from having to write it!
omg. i actually cant even crochet anything and i made a cute duck. your tutorials are amazing and super clear, easy and slow so people like me can actually understand and follow along. your stuff is amazing, adorable and high quality. please never stop doing this kind of stuff! youre amazing! ❤
Well you can crochet something now
This is my first day of crochet and I did it!! When I completed it it felt like such a big flexxx
I felt like that two with my first crochet project ❤️🫠🥹
which type of line is this? the one i bought is so small, being hard learning
ive been trying different beginner crochet tutorials but im just so bad and i feel like crocheting isnt meant for me:/
@@shinnywinny just try, i got 24-48h( literally) trying to learm how to hold... Then more time to learn how to do the" chains" now i'm trying to learn the next step... To make even harder i bought small line( forgot the word in English)
I want to learn how to do the duck and also count the chains
Your comment gives me hope. I’ve never been able to crochet anything. I hope to try this soon and rejoice on this wall with everyone.
I don’t know how to crochet, but I see adorable duck and I click.
Same
This is absolutely adorable!! I made this for my boyfriend and he almost started crying because of how cute this little fella is 🥺 Definietly will make more, thank you for this pattern! ❤️
My toxic trait is thinking I can do this
You can do anything if you put your mind to it!
… yeah I’m failing too
I dont even have the yarnnn
You can I thought I couldn’t and now I can’t stop myself.
YOU CAN
I started crocheting only a month ago and I'm pretty sure I can make this so I'm sure you can do it too :)
Update: i made the duck :)
Hello! Your tutorials are wonderful. I'm one of those people who don't know English at all, but I was able to connect the turtle and the duck with ease according to your tutorials! You deserve a much larger audience than the one you have. I hope that you will understand the content of my message, because I am writing it through Google Translate;) Thank you very much for your videos!💖 (Hello from Ukraine🇺🇦)
❤❤❤
Слава Україні !)
@@buzkovyj Героям Слава!
Как прекрасно то, что в таких видео собираются люди разных стран, наций и разных взглядов на мир. ☺
@@buzkovyjОбоснуй славу.
This pattern is very adorable and excellent for a beginner, the hardest thing really is counting the fluffy yarn. I'm going to make these ducks into Christmas ornaments for my tree, thank you for sharing the video
For other struggle bugs who have no crocheting term knowledge...
The first round creates six braids on the outside and you stab into the very first chain loop.
The second round you stab through the two loops that make a braid and make a chain. Then stab through that same loop and make a chain before going to the next one. Go until you complete the round.
The third round you do two chains per braid, then a single chain for a braid, back and forth until you finish the round.
The fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds are one chain per braid.
Pretty much the pattern written in the pinned can be explained like how I just did.
Thanks, I got to round 6 before realizing something is wrong. You're saving my motivation to learn to crochet
Lol
Thanks a lot
I love that you say stab lol. Makes me feel more confident 😂
OMG THAT IS SO AWESOME
i have been crocheting for almost 5 years and i know all the terms, but for those who dont that is literally perfect lol
I just made the duck thanks to your video! He came out so nice and round. I also crocheted a little knife for him and now he is just perfect. Thanks so much for this easy tutorial ❤
Umm
@@user-sc4gb1qd1b I don’t think you’ve seen the meme
@@Dunno_Nia duh i have seen the meme
help 💀 comments 10 months old but if y'all know how/what's the pattern of the knife is, share or drop haha I wanna make knife too
Definitely recommend this, super easy to follow, really cute on how it turned out, easy reference, good for beginners totally love it!
This literally turned into my first ever crochet project and while the tension is definitely a bit weird around the whole thing it looks so cute!
I finally did it! I'm so proud of myself, it actually came out really neat and pretty. Thank you so much for the tutorial
❤❤❤
Hi How long did it take to make ?
@@User-cl6xhI started three days ago, and it took me like 2-3 hours
@@crafter_frog instead of plush yarn can you use a different type of yarn for example, cotton yarn?
@@riarhinoYes
This was such a fun project, i made my duck yellow and it came out perfectly, 10/10 would recomend this pattern!
i used 3mm yarn and it turned out adorable! for anyone wondering, the height of my duck was around 5cm. for some reason, the shape wasnt as clear as in the video. but it works just fine!
Very first pattern I have done, and first pattern with plush yarn❤ simple to follow. Love it❤❤

I literally can not watch any other tutorials. Yours are the best i’ve ever seen. Could you maybe do a baby penguin pattern??
I was able to make my first amigurumi with this tutorial! It turned out, as my mum would say when talking about me, “with lots of personality”.
Update: Second time is the charm! It turns out I was crocheting backwards, so what was supposed to be inside is what was showing outside 🤣
Me encantó el resultado final que buen trabajo. Muchas gracias por el tutorial ❤

Thank you for this!
why is there 18 sc for 3 steps, why not 54 sc? i am beginner and see no difference in the video
@@matebotos2729 there really isn't a difference they just listed it that way.
Thank-you!
@@matebotos2729 Because then if you use a stitch marker you do the 18 then move the marker for the next round! If that makes any sense, but yes, not much difference!
Ducks are my favorite animal, but im a complete beginner to crochet..
Im going to try this js cuz its cutee ❤❤❤
this is my first-time crocheting, and I was able to do this with trial and error. though mine isn't as pretty as yours, that's ok. because I still made it
