For other struggle bugs who have no crocheting term knowledge... The first round creates six braids on the outside and you stab into the very first chain loop. The second round you stab through the two loops that make a braid and make a chain. Then stab through that same loop and make a chain before going to the next one. Go until you complete the round. The third round you do two chains per braid, then a single chain for a braid, back and forth until you finish the round. The fourth, fifth, and sixth rounds are one chain per braid. Pretty much the pattern written in the pinned can be explained like how I just did.

If you wish for your duck to have longer dangling legs you can do this (Chain 6, 3 single crochets in 5th chain, slip Stich in 5th chain) I hope that made sense I’m relatively new to crochet. 😅

I think there is an error at round 11 and that it should be repeat 7 times,instead of 8. It is more coherent since in the repetition you crochet on 3 stitches and 3*7+1=22 and 22 is the number of stitches on the previous row

Hi there! I followed the tutorial and encountered this for round 11: I only was able to get 7 repeats done. I even counted the stitches compared to how many you got and it still ended up being 15 stiches. According to my math, it should have been 17 stiches if it were repeated 8 times, but repeat 7 and it's 15 like shown. Maybe I'm counting my repeats incorrectly, but thought I should let you know just in case! Love the duck so much!
I like how u dont skip through and show every move, its helpful for beginners but also more experienced people can just fast forward the video as they prefer so its targeted towards all crocheters and more experienced people 🫶🏼
