Incorrect default Steam directory given in the video. It should be :
C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages

What happens if you do not have a Developer option?
Hi Mark, any ideas to solve my problem. after my recent update/reinstall (Ver: 1.33.8.0), none of my community addons are working! I have tried various things, new 3rd party downloads etc.
After checking my community folder from Developer mode/ tools I noticed that my path is not the usual 'Users\Username\AppData ...etc' . but is listed as 'Xbox Games\.... etc'! I have moved some mods into that community folder but still not installing! Some show up in content manager BUT are greyed out and can't install them.
Is there a way of changing the run path I wondered? Any thoughts would be appreciated .

I've got a question about planes I have in my hanger. There are a couple that will appear at airports. The P-40 and F-9F Cougar will often show up at airports. They are static sitting in parking areas. I don't know why some will appear while others don't? I'm hoping maybe you know how to make all the planes in my hanger appear at airports?
It is a random selection based on the sim grading for the airport/parking area. GA or Airliner etc. Aircraft density (static) can be adjusted in the traffic tab.
@@SimHangerFS Thank you, very helpful. I hope we will see GA Traffic appear in MSFS. I don't know if you used FSX in the past. There was a mod for it called GA Traffic. It allowed you to convert (lower poly count, but still looked nice, even close up) any airplane you had to used as AI traffic. It was very simple, worked wonderful and would have planes flying around all over the place. Some would be 'students' doing touch and go's, others on cross country flights, air taxi, etc.
Xbox X user here. I purchased S.America and Himalaya/Asia mesh by Orbx on Friday. Unfortunately the installation stops and resets about halfway through. My previous Orbx purchase, LYNI Nis airport downloaded but didn't populate for about 4-5 months. Switzerland mesh M.I A.
Anyone else having problems with Orbx?
Make sure you upgrade your orbx installer itself first

It means your sim is not looking in the community folder you are downloading. Try reinstall/repair to reset comm folder location.
