I used to run my _Malcador_ Infernus regularly with Solar Auxiliary in the original Horus Heresy rules; it removed legion marines in droves on a good day. Sadly its glory days are no more in the current HH and 40k rules.
I've also had a quick look in the Forge World catalogues for 2003 and 2005. The Imperial Guard Mine plough and trailers appear in the 2005 one.
It's also a scary reminder of how prices have changed over the years: the Marauder Bomber was £150 in 2003 !

Holy sheeet. I collect Krieg, veteran guardsmen, 3d printed Death Riders, 3d printed proxys for the Gorgon (using a ww2 landing craft and some chimera track sections).

Great fun watching this, it gave me ideas for mine. I just ordered 3 more 30K Russes for my Krieg, these Solar Auxilia tanks are just too cool.

I love the weathered look myself. It brings the model to life and adds a story to it as well.
I actually have some 3d sculpts for mordian guard. The maker based alot of there vehicles around Humvees. Send me a DM if you want info on the maker Andy.
I actually have a load of alternative plastic from mantic for guard. I'm planning on turning them into a brood brothers detachment for my GSC. Vehicles will most likely be 3d printed.

If I could go back and buy them, the eldar fighterjets for Battlefleet gothic. The torpodoes were so cool too. The game environ was just soooo much more cool with all those little bits. But yeah, the eldar fighter jets.

I like the FW tanks and Fliers as well in regards to the space marines. Biggest I have is the Glaive which is in my NL army and I have a Storm Eagle I need to finish. Would love to see the Caestus Assault Ram and Thunderhawk Transport come back.

Love the video! With you saying you love the WW1 aesthetic have you checked out Trench crusade? It’s an upcoming tabletop game set in an alternate world where humans are fighting demons from hell in WW1. It’s got an awesome gothic, grim dark WW1 aesthetic

It sounds like if we ever are going to see a full showcase of the army, we will need a Krieg week like you did with the knights. Otherwise i expect you will add models faster than you finish them 😂

@@MediocreHobbies I saw the lander / cargo version on Heresy Era's channel. That thing is RARE and gorgeous. Rarity comes, alone, from the fact that it's a cargo thing. Funny enough though, it can carry a couple of Landraiders or Rhinos. For real as it has the clamps for them.

You know what weapons you barely ever see that look really cool in 40k, shotguns. I'd give your tank commander a shotgun to stop swarming infantry and it also wouldn't damage the tank or trailer itself if they got on it.

God no. Do you mean my stippling tanks. No every other tank I do is with that. Just my krieg are painted this way.

@MediocreHobbies I gave up on trying to buy all forgeworld since GW abandoned forgeworld. I feel justified buying recasts and I have put them side by side with forgeworld anyway and cannot honestly tell the difference.

@@MediocreHobbies Have you tried the internal sponson mounts on your DKOK Leman Russ Tanks from Beyond the Tabletop??? Just curious what you think of them? They make the side sponsons flush with the tank. I just joined your channel tonight by the way!
Great point about the joy of building miniatures has gone. Hate putting them together now. I'm an experienced modeller and struggle. No idea how kids are supposed to put certain kits together. What was wrong with torso, two legs, two (or 3!) arms and a head?! Oh...I know, stopping copying, maximising boxes, IPR etc 🙄
