Good interview. Chris is a matter of fact guy, good natured with a wicked sense of humor. But when working he is like a laser beam. Focused, disciplined and 10 steps mentally ahead. I remember the original interview. Thanks for the re-do.
I loved this interview, Geoff. I think I mentioned it before, but the driveway rebuild is what hooked me on Chris's channel. Then I got hooked on yours. Thanks for 3 years of fine entertainment. (I miss the deer!😉)
Hello Mike, I live in south western Canada and I watch the same videos you do. Chris "Let's Dig 18" keeps his equipment clean and well maintained and he always does his best to keep his customers happy!
A blast from the past! So much work has been done on your farm since that first project. A sincere thank you for bringing us along on your family’s journey!
Omg, that was great to see again. Helps to remember where he came from doing side jobs while working for his uncle and the beginning of his fleet. He just finished up Brian's job on the dam rebuilds and seeing all that new machinery and what it takes to do a major job is amazing. That said he is one hard worker and does.not cut corners so anyone is lucky to get him on their job site. Then there is your channel and the amazing amount of transformation you have done to that property although it was not mentioned much in this interview. That trail through the woods to a clearing out back sure did get run over by the pond and house lots and so much more. Thanks for the trip down memory lane.
I had several Ash trees on my property and someone suggested I try to sell them. I paid someone $3k to remove each one. Great interview and great team. Thanks Mr. Bealy Good.
Great interview Geoff. Nice to see how long both you and Chris has come since then - it has been an amazing journey - and I'm looking forward to see what the next three years will bring. 👍😊
@@BealyGood You and Cris have to make a new loong Q n A. At least i have alot of questions, so ther must be meny more folowers. That have a lot of them to.
Only 3 years ago - gosh so much has been achieved by both of you. LetsDig18 does not like to be in front of the camera and yet as time goes bu, he provides so much information about the lay of the land and improving it. Bealy Good you and Jackie and family have made so many changes to the property - well done all. Bye the way - neither of you have aged a bit - still as young and handsome as ever :)
Great interview! I think Chris is down to earth and doesn't beat around the bush when asked questions. His business has come a long way since he went out on his own. And the Bealy Good property has changed dramatically since getting the clearing done. Keep the videos coming and soon we can enjoy more progress on the house. Cheers
really nice interview, Chris is so matter of fact about the logistics of his business. I've watched so many of his videos and one of the things I've often thought of is the cost of moving a machine the size of the 350 for instance.
I didn't watch this the first time round but this is one fantastic video's with Mr Bealy Good and Chris, I used to own my own truck year's ago possibly before Chris finished high school or started working and the story is exactly the same today as when I was pricing work with and tacking into consideration the diesel, road tax, insurance, liability insurance, goods in transit insurance, and that was all before I could feed my wife and 2 kid's then pay myself a wage most of these questions go all the way back in time and right up to date so I understand why Chris kept these thing's private, all that being said thank you Geoff and Chris for another fantastic video.
Looking forward to your BeakyGood Farm Road video. I catch myself going back and watching the videos at the beginning of your American Dream. Live long and prosper.
I love this interview with Chris. If you interviewed him today. With all his new equipment and prices and 4x higher. I'd hate to have his expenses and upkeep. It's no wonder why Chris is working 6-7 days a week just to keep up. I'm sure people think he has time to kick his feet up and watch a game. But between working and the farm, Chris is lucky to have time to sleep. Great interview, Bealey Good.
I really enjoy your videos. As a retired single man excavating company I can agree with everything you and Chris covered. And I only had five pieces of equipment. Thank you.
Thanks for putting this back on. Can't believe its been about 3 years! You guys haven't changed a bit! 😂😂 Your both spot on when talking about things that go into running a business. Running the equipment, using the tools, whatever it is you do is only a fraction of what it takes to running a successful business. You guys have learned a lot in your years. Just when you think you have it down, something else pops its ugly head up. I laugh when I hear someone saying "I've seen it all". Just confirms they haven't been in it long enough. I kept learning more about business till the day I retired! (And I'm still learning)😉 Thanks to both of you for putting your videos out there for all to see.
Yeah people don't realize what stuff costs. I'm an owner operator truck driver and peoplesay I make so much money. Well I have to to pay for everything. A new truck 4 years ago was 155k. Oil changes are 500, just put 4k in tires on my truck last week and I'm on track to spend 65k in diesel this year. And thats not including buying a trailer then slowly rebuilding it. Owning your own business isn't cheap.
Outstanding interview you guys explaining how it works is a great thing cause you know people have lots of opinions and i know you guys have heard them all but you guys rock 🤘👍😎🇺🇸 NY
love Bealy Good and letsdig18 plus dirt perfect. When great people like this do videos of their own work its good quality control and great advertisement.I think people will start looking for contractors who actually video their jobs to see how good they are and that its done right. If you have 2 good quotes and one videos and one doesn't, Im likely to go with the one that videos. I do love Chris's vids when he revisits places a year or two afterwards.
This is a great old video! The unrestored old barn and 1910 house in the background! Loved seeing that conversation again. Plus you and Chris haven't aged a day. Haha
Great interview, people don't realize how expensive that equipment is, extremely expensive is the answer, over head is still expensive for Chris even if it's just him, an he doesn't abuse his equipment, he takes care of it

🤔I'm pretty sure I know the answer to this question, with all the meticulous attention to keeping all his equipment clean, " to each their own" but is there a camera shy Mrs letsdig18 and little diggers running around that massive farm? ☝🏻😉Makes no difference, but I was Just Curious. I have a question. Is Chris married. It's never talked about and I'm sure he likes his privacy. As a former heavy equipment operator, I am enjoying watching his videos. Every time he's in the excavator, I feel like I'm there running as well.
Mr Bealy Good - Sir…. has it been that long since you originally recorded that? And Chris still doesn’t talk about money or his family - a man of principles to say the least. Hoping that you are safe and well! Still rather worried about your situation and health. Take care my friend.
