Magpie bites the hand of Simon Cowell!

- "Bird in a chimney" type rescues are never the same!
This time, Simon met a lovely old lady who needed help with the bird stuck in her chimney. She was very scared of birds following an incident with a budgerigar in the past. Simon did rescue the bird, who was far from placid, and released him in the back garden.
The feisty chap was bleeding because he broke a feather. When that happens, it will bleed unless pressure is applied or the feather is removed. This is nothing to worry about, and he was totally fine to be released once the feather stopped bleeding.
A happy ending for the bird and the lady!

I like this Simon Cowell much better
Me too!
Alex Kessler I think we all do 😂
@@amberstevens3681 He really has the "X Factor."
I only just heard of this guy now because he died unfortunately but me too.
My left ear is lonely..
Yeah xD
Mine too....
I thought one of my ear buds died out.
My headset is broken and only has the left ear working so no sound at all. Thought I went deaf.
Me to what's with the left someone help me I thought I broke my beats
"Ow, you little toad"
Laughed for ages.
What a sweet old lady.
isn't she adorable?
Lovely Lady. God bless.♥️🌹
I just love the little chats simon has with the houseowners :)
and with the animals :P
Besides the bird, the lady was very sweet...
"Our job here is done." Made me think Mr. Cowell should start wearing a cape on these rescues. ^_^
Lol.
No capes!
it's always your blood simon, will you ever learn to stop asking
oew41092 lol!
Lol
I found a hurt magpie under a tree, brought it home and cared for it till it got better.let it free after 3 days and now it visits.I know it's definitely the same magpie because it sits on my shoulder and feels safe around me even comes into the house.I call him/her Safe because I couldn't think of anything to say to the bird only you're safe now buddy you're safe now my friend.
Old lady: I don't like birds
Simon: *Visible confusion*
'Ow, that really hurt, thank you.' LOL!!!!!!
The whole interaction between all of them was so incredibly sweet! Thank you, Simon, the lady, and Mr Magpie! 😘
Love the magpie lady! What a sweerheart!
Simon: ow you little toad
Magpie: that's what you get for getting blood on me
But the magpie caused the blood....
Anyone else slightly disappointed when they realise it wasn't the OTHER Simon Cowell being bitten? :)
*starts shouting media Simon Cowell insults*
YES! :D
Thomas Paine
All the corvid family are well known as very intelligent birds, even to the extent of using tools.
Whereas the Australian Magpies we have round here are mostly known for being very violent :D
I had a funny comment lined up for that too......
I'd like to know how Simon doesn't let go while he's being bitten by a bird. Does that take training or is he missing some nerves in his fingers?
+angelikmayhem Simon is quite good at keeping his composure in any situation. Usually, you only have one chance to get hold of an animal, so unless you are in mortal danger, you do not let go the animal! Simon always said that the animal comes first in a rescue!
Yes, but to ignore pain on such a level. Is this Buddhism? Big-pharma? Is he using the Force? Surely there must be an answer.
+angelikmayhem I believe it's the fact that he is completely British.
+angelikmayhem --It's simple really. The magpie isn't big and strong enough to deliver that bad of a bite. It hurts a bit, but really isn't that bad.
He just does his job well and didn't want to let it go because it would fly away and could destroy the paintings an poo everywhere.
The lady was so cute :). So glad the magpie was ok. Sorry about the fingers :)
Much prefer this Simon Cowell to the other... Word I shan't type.
+SinataSeries : Oh, c'mon! American Idol never was the same since Simon left. It always sucked, but Simon made it entertaining! Much prefer the WAF Simon tho!!!
Yeah, but I'd much rather see the OTHER Simon Cowell get bit.
rhymes with rant?
These are the most interesting, informative, touching and at times great fun shows to watch. What a wonderful occupation. Thank you Simon Cowell; you're a hero!
Thank you Margaret :)
Amazing yet again. This is the best channel on UA-cam.
Thanks Ashla B :)
What a charming lady. Such a shame she had such a bad experience with birds, but on the other hand I can relate. I once had a roommate who tried adopting a macaw once... That thing was an utterly vicious demon with wings.
That lady's budgie story had me rolling. I have two of them myself and being bit by them hurts so much worse than being bit by my grey parrot. Though she's big enough to go for the face and they chow down on my fingers...
Dude i thought some thing was wrong with my head set because i wasn't getting any sound out of the left ear piece. And i was like oh NO! I do NOT want to go and buy another 40 dollar head set!
same happened to me
Oh thank goodness I'm not the only one
The right ear piece makes no noise, this video makes my life worse, can anyone write what they are freaking saying?
+Your Spirit Animal Turn on the captions
ItsBeverly Dude have you seen youtubes captions? Its so bad it's funny.
See! You cursed yourself, Simon!
“Hope he’s not a man eating magpie!”
SURPRISE!
So sweet how you helped the Golden Elder Lady and her Very Ungratefully Appreciative Magpie. God love you Simon and Crew.
I like magpies, they're so intelligent. They don't mind my son and I hanging out in the backyard but they really hate my husband. LOL
Catching up with old videos in 2020! Love them!
Omg I love his reaction when the magpie shot of the fireplace ROFL love simon he is such a gem, bless him
Thank you for what you do.
Awwwwww.... Take care Simon.
We love you.
Wonderful job. Love Magpies, really my favourite 'common' birds!
Wow that's so cool to rescue a magpie from a young Lady's house, love to watch wildlife aid and Simon's efforts, great work young man, keep it up 😍😍😍
You brought out the best in that at-first shy lady, Simon. Nice rescue, too. ツ
The magpie is so cute, pretty, and adorable! I hope he/she is okay! :)
2:44 the magpie goes for whoever is opening the door haha
"Ow! You little toad!" I was taking a sip of my drink and I almost spit it out from laughing! 😂😂😂
Animal references are always the best :)
No wonder Simon loves the job: getting hugs from cute ladies and everything!
LOL, When the magpie flew out of the chimney I screamed and jumped!
With your name you should be ashamed, he's one of your family :D
Wildlife Aid Haha you're absolutely right! :P
I love your channel, thanks. : )
What a sweet lady, love her!
All magpies are so majestic it's so sad one had to bite you but at least you didn't let go
oh the poor old lady, she's so sweet
It's so refreshing to see a charity thank its donors. Here across the pond you'd have to thank thoughts and prayers.
Why do people dislike this these people are amazing
Simon was so nice to the old lady, this was great to watch
What is that lady on about, budgies are awesome, absolutely love them! Had them as pets since I was a kid.
my right ear really enjoyed this
Bless her.
Simon is such a smooth talker!
Simon got dat A game in this video
i love birds
This is such a British video, it's amazing.
you guys are awesome saving animals:O
My left ear gets left out ;)
Yeah we had a strange problem with the microphone, aparently it's now been fixed so it shouldn't happen again :P
@@wildlifeaid Converting the audio to mono would help.
Love her face when she pointed to where the magpie was
Once I had a....I guess you could call it a pet, oh well but I had a, I think sparrow that built it's nest right on the other side of my air conditioner. At first I thought she was a mouse, but then I looked through and saw her. She worked hard on her nest and after a while she was done and settled in. I called her mouse, which when she hopped around I saw her shadow and she looked like one. Well then the babies came! But.......They were annoying, yes! They screamed for her as she was out. I have a chair I like to sit in and play Xbox and tablet, and my chair was right below that air conditioner......so I dealed with it. But she was a great mother!
He was awarded the MBE (Member of the Order of the British Empire) in the 2005 Queen's Birthday Honors List for his services to wildlife.
U R Great 👑👒 thanks
My right ear enjoyed this......
I like how Simon can deal with people. A lot of people can take a lesson from that.
Magpies are quite pretty. I love their long tail feathers.
Sweet lady.
Wow it's a good thing she left the room before he moved the fire if she is afraid of birds lol that wouldn't have been good! Thank you for helping the magpie :D
Is he actually called Simon cowell
Yes he is - just a different Simon Cowell!
Please tell him he's a legend and wildlife aid wouldn't be worth watching without Simon 1 fan right here fucking legend he is
Jordan Sales I will pass that message on to him right now :)
Wildlife Aid cheers is there any chance Simon will take me on as his right hand man I don't mind not getting paid .....tell him I'll quit my job and work for him
+Jordan Sales the Wildlife Trusts are always looking for volunteers :)
I remember seeing a bird in my house back in 2010 or 2011. It was just inside of the kitchen sitting on the freezer. I opened the window since we didn't have a screen it took me a while to get the bird out. It was an adult House Sparrow.
that old womans voice sounds extremely young
Maybe the magpie is a fan of Andrea Faustini and he didn't like Simon's last criticism?
:D
My right ear enjoyed this
I'm from the other side of the pond, we have meat eating birds as well. If anyone is interested, search Peregrine Falcons. In my hometown in Massachusetts, our city usually sets up a camera watching a known nesting location. If one is lucky, we can watch the park and wildlife officials band and tag newly hatched chicks. However, those falcons have often dive bombed their heads in a manner that would put Stuka pilots to shame. They sometimes hit hard enough to pierce a hard hat.
Dang, I would NOT want to be on that situation. I didn't know they could puncture a hard hat.
good birdy
I love the name mag pie... cute
The audio on this video needs a refresh. It only is generating from right-side speakers.
Simon Cowell will never fight that pain for a bird. 🙄😏
Молодец мужик.... респект!
I like that lady, she seems very nice.
Wait is your name Simon Cowell like the one off America got talent xD when I saw the title I was like wait is SIMON in here
I shouldn't laugh at poor Simon getting bit by a bird...but...I'm sorry -- I couldn't stop laughing! Ow! 😀
For some reason I can't hear the audio? I checked my headphones and it's just this one?
Great i have a broken headset and only my left ear works...great :D
Simon, you have me cracking up laughing!!
I hope he is not a man eating Magpie.
Magpie: You were saying?
The title got me thinking "what is the pessimistic judge of American Idol/America's Got Talent doing with a magpie?" Then I was wondering where is "Simon Cowell" and if this is a different Simon Cowell. And then there's the baby swan rescue where he was freeing him while being brutally beaten by his father. Again same name but different gent.
I CAN NOW SAY THAT I LOVE THIS OLD BRIT SIMON COWELL! It was him and Lucy that got this US American hooked on Wildlife Aid Foundation. It would be cool if you all could be nominated to possibly win The Indianapolis Prize. I believe all nations and States that have organizations dealing with wildlife are eligible.
when the Bird came out I jumped
My left ear feels lonely :/
"Is that my blood or his blood?" XD
Every one of these videos I've seen so far, Simon gets bit/ scratched by something!
***** Thank you :D
***** Yeah! They were purple before but faded to a light bluish
***** Well if it's a subtle change it isn't a big deal you don't notice haha
***** haha thanks, yeah I think it is a popular thing right now...its called "granny hair" !
Awww , its blood
Home owner: it was viscous. Puts it on shoulder and it attacks her 😂🤦🏼♀️
Heroes :)
No Sound until the music at the end...lol
Please sort out the audio next time, the outro was a relief to my ears. :(
Hopefully we have fixed it Manny, it shouldn't happen again... famous last words lol.
And simon goes PFFT
What a name XD
Poor Simon and bird:(
There needs to be a wildlife aid montage of of Simone "owns" 🤣
The budgie most likely bit her due to redirected aggression which is a good reason to never let any parrot sit on your shoulder where you can’t see and stop them. If the bird is where you can see it the bite can be prevented
3:13 oh Simon... 🤣
“Is that my blood or your blood”
I rescued a magpie from a trap in France and the bloody thing but the end of my forefinger! That hurt a lot!
My older brother let a robin the house once, because he left the back door open. It fled from the kitchen when it saw me and fled flying upstairs, so I let it out of one of the bathroom windows. It was Spring so I think it was a female, looking for a place to nest, because it was patrolling the top of my kitchen cupboards, when it saw me and fled.
