😢😢😢 Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m 42 years old. When I was much younger my Mom introduced me to Star Trek. It saved me, it gave me hope. It helped shape who I am as a person. I will always love trek thank you thank you thank you
so my dear Friends..now I´m 62...and 40 Years ago I´ll be sure for all they are in my age, we l💖ved it in our Youth;-) ty for sharing, and took us back in the 70'th 💋
THANK YOU! Had a tear when Jim Kirk dying scene, he is not dead, he is alittle of us taking a risk in what ever we do in our lives. And also to see Gene's view of what is call of the future... I get so excited to hear the musical score of All Star Trek series, and films so emotional.
Fantastic tribute. Star trek, unlike any other genre fired peoples imaginations and made them look to the stars and wonder what's out there and made us dreamers dream big. Star trek spoke to the human condition more than any other genre ever did or ever will. One of the very best multiple series movies and television series to date.
I agree. I grew up on the original when it first hit syndication and was hesitant about seeing the movie. I'm glad I did because it was excellent from start to finish. The story-line is plausible in the Star Trek universe and I can't wait for the next one.
Hi, glad you liked the vid. Its been a bit of a long term project, it was first cut on Avid for a convention I was running, originally it finished after the Voyager section. I decided update with a section for Enterprise and the movies using Final Cut Pro. Its more to do with the technique of cutting images together, rather than video software tricks. It turned into a labour of love. I'm always coming across bits of episodes that I think I wish I put that bit in, but you got to stop sometime!
Beyond excellent!!! I have been "aboard" the Enterprise since 1966, and this was one of the most encompassing and magnificently produced tributes that I have ever seen. I hope that you will attempt to outdo yourself in about 2 years. Live long and prosper.
Thanks Sas, recently I find myself reflecting about all of the Supernova craziness and particularly about our recent Supernova family loss. From you this means a lot.
If you want trek to stay with us and have longevity, it has to evolve and grow, ' 09 ' is just the next stage forward in better story telling, film construction of content. I'm a big classic fan, you can't live in cardboard sets of the 60's or the never ending Bragga clone scripts of the 90's.Great story telling has to move with the times, 09 is just trek of this era, The idea of the Tribute is as it says on the tin.. a celebration of trek in all it's incarnations.
I just a wanted to thank you for all of the wonderful comments. I'm truly blown away and glad my trek tribute has brought much delight to so many of you. Currently I'm uploading some new content which was used for couple of convention I ran in the UK back in 99 and 01 I hope you will spare the time to check out some of the work I did for Supernova. As we're heading towards the big 50 next year I'm planning a brand new tribute. LLAP to you all. Graz1701
"I know that... you are the finest crew in the fleet, and I would trust each of you with my life." ~ Captain Jean-Luc Picard (All Good Things...) Star Trek: The Next Generation
I rewatched the motion picture the other day, besides the uniforms and incredibly long camera angles of the Enterprise, it wasn't as bad as I remember.
@Neomac316 The edit was done for a Voyager event I was running at the time, hence the amount to clips in the tribute and it featured many of the guest that we're in attendance. It may not have been the best of the shows, ( I'm more of a classic fan) but at the time it sold tickets.
I fantastic video, excellent montage of clips and audio put to my favourite ST music. I was very teary by the end of it as ST has been a huge part of my life. I thought the final clip of Gene himself was a good end also
I was watching a recorded Kraftwerk concert, then 80s remixes of popular modern songs, then I saw this, and I was like "a string of golden nuggets in UA-cam"
Hello so glad you loved the vid, the Janeway speech you asked for was taken from the last episode of Voyager, spoken buy the Older Janeway.. thanks for your nice comments
Great, GREAT tribute to an excellent franchise! I love the selection of clips, and the music choice was amazing. I really liked 2:17: "They say time," *Cut to Enterprise saucer burning* "is the fire in which we burn." Brilliant!
So I was looking for a star trek montage to put in my review of Star Trek Starfleet Command. Holy shit. This might be the best one Ive seen. Very well done! Much better than most others I see that try to do some weird stuff.
+Jeroscope Lol Glad you liked it, as it's the big 50 next year I'm thinking of doing a 50 year new montage, as this one was done some time ago, but thanks for the thanks..
Star Trek vs Star Wars. Intelligence vs Stupidity. Talent vs Incapacity. Creativity vs Inability. Originality vs Orthodoxy. Excitement vs Boredom. Unpopularity vs Popularity. Underappreciation vs Overpraise. Intemperance vs Conservatism. Emotion vs Indifference. Good vs Evil. Light vs Darkness.
This tribute was amazing!! And I'm not just saying that, this was truly unforgettably beautiful:) thank you for making my day:D -3 Btw seeing gene rodenmberry at the end made me want to cry, well done
cause the borg didn't see them as big enough of a threat to send more than 1 cube at a time. and im sure there were other targets more interesting or easier to reach in large numbers
pace: yes. storytelling? the whole story is forced to somehow get the crew together, under no-matter-what circumstances. necessary side effect of the new timeline. and design shows JJ´s affection to star wars. but i don´t want to start a fight, certainly it´s just my humble opinion ;) nice video by the way! :)
If a copyright was capped at 14 years with no renewal instead of lifetime of the author plus 95 years witch is way past ridiculous compared to the 14 year term with one time 14 year renewal totaling 28 years back in 1790 the first 40 years of star trek from TOS to enterprise and the first 10 feature films would be public domain to day if copyright was only 14 years with no renewal
If they do make a new TV show, and I guess one day they will, it would have to compete against the gritty realism of Battlestar Galactica. Their old style of story telling just won't work any more.
Personally I thought 09 was superb, I don't know what else you wanted in terms of story telling, pace and design. Surley it has to be better than Insurection, Star Trev V and Star Trek the slow Motion picture?
1964 is when Star Trek filmed it's first pilot. Abrams Star Trek I don't think is actual Star Trek as it's more T&A then substance. 7 of DD the beginning of the end for not just Star Trek but tv. They think people are watching online which is why tv viewership is down this last decade. They'd like that to be true so they don't have to face the truth that viewership is down because of the T&A quantity over quality.
😢😢😢 Thank you, Thank you from the bottom of my heart. I’m 42 years old. When I was much younger my Mom introduced me to Star Trek. It saved me, it gave me hope. It helped shape who I am as a person. I will always love trek thank you thank you thank you
Awesome 👍 thanks
This is underrated
EXCELLENT!
Thank you so much for putting this up❤❤
14 Year Old video and still hits home
so my dear Friends..now I´m 62...and 40 Years ago I´ll be sure for all they are in my age, we l💖ved it in our Youth;-) ty for sharing, and took us back in the 70'th 💋

Thank you for this… I’m 75, and an original Trekkie.
You did well with my memories…
I’ll always love Star Trek ✨💫 🖖
WHY the fuck is there no more Star Trek on tv?????? Its been like 15 years now!!
i have watched most star trek tributes and i think this one is THE BEST EVER
STAR TREK LIVES !!!!!!!!!!!!
That was spectacular!! It made me cry and I am Vulcan.
The word "awesome" doesn't seem sufficient to describe how awesome that was.
Great tribute to star trem and all its anniversary
THANK YOU! Had a tear when Jim Kirk dying scene, he is not dead, he is alittle of us taking a risk in what ever we do in our lives. And also to see Gene's view of what is call of the future... I get so excited to hear the musical score of All Star Trek series, and films so emotional.
THIS is Trek at it's true best.
i grow up watching this series, surely one of best times of my childhood :)
" Risk is our business " That's what a starship is all about .
Mr. Roddenberry didn't write of our future , he created it .
@graz1701 This is great the best Star Trek vid on the net. I am showing it to all of my freind to introduce star trek
Still the best edit out there IMO. If people want to know why I love Star Trek - I point to this. Great story telling.
One word, WOW!
This made me cry.
I agree. I grew up on the original when it first hit syndication and was hesitant about seeing the movie. I'm glad I did because it was excellent from start to finish. The story-line is plausible in the Star Trek universe and I can't wait for the next one.
I can't tell you how powerful this is. It makes me over joyed, and sad. thinking that all we have just seen here is just a memory
Many thanks for your kind comments, Trek has been a big part of my life and I'm glad this has touched you too.
Words don't describe how meaningful this is! This video officially sums up Star Trek
you made me cry i love star trek sow much! ever since a child!
Star Trek you are the best! :) I can't wait for the next installment. The new movie was great. :)
Can totally tell that this was a labour of love from a real fan. Great work. Made the hairs on the back of neck stand up.

I LIKE THE PART when Janeway said "Mr. Paris, set a course... for home" in two scene! :)
Beyond excellent!!! I have been "aboard" the Enterprise since 1966, and this was one of the most encompassing and magnificently produced tributes that I have ever seen. I hope that you will attempt to outdo yourself in about 2 years. Live long and prosper.

This needs to be in HD
Best. Montage. EVER.
love the teribute of the 40 years of Star Trek. I'm a great FAN of of the entire series. THANKS FOR POSTING.
BRAVO!!!!!!!!!!!! WELL DONE!!
Nice blend of music, dialogue, and clips, really captures the spirit of Trek; one of the better Trek tributes I've seen on youtube!
Amo demais essa série
This is passion in its purest form - Very well done.Brings back great childhood memories

I shared it to everybody , even the Borg.
Damn those onions! LOL

There are no words to describe how awe-inspiring this video is.
Just awesome!
"I know that... you are the finest crew in the fleet, and I would trust each of you with my life."

Star Trek: The Next Generation
I can't describe enough how BRILLIANT it is. Amazing, well done!!!
I seriously teared up a little. This is a REALLY good tribute.
that send a chill down my spine... trice :D
I just cried a little. That was powerful stuff and I'm not even a Trekkie! :)
This is you nearly a decade later. You became one!
This is one of the best ST tributes I have seen. Now this means I'm gonna rewatch it again, and again, and again. :D
I rewatched the motion picture the other day, besides the uniforms and incredibly long camera angles of the Enterprise, it wasn't as bad as I remember.

First off, great video. Second, @steelyden he said "they thought I offered them a Wagon Train to the stars. Which I Had."
Bravo! Well crafted. So many feels.
Excellent video, purely epic
I fantastic video, excellent montage of clips and audio put to my favourite ST music. I was very teary by the end of it as ST has been a huge part of my life.
I thought the final clip of Gene himself was a good end also
Excellent- my god!!
Very well made video, brought a lot of emotion out of me. Very well done. Thanks for the time it took to do this.
Amazing tribute, brought a tear to my eye :)
I was watching a recorded Kraftwerk concert, then 80s remixes of popular modern songs, then I saw this, and I was like "a string of golden nuggets in UA-cam"
Thank you! You just made my day!
Nice job, I loved the inclusion of the speeches and memorable lines from the shows/movies (especially from Voyager :D).
awesome! :D

Brilliant!
Well done, or as Mr. Scott would say, "It brought a tear to me eye.".
Ugh, there's ninjas cutting onions, my eyes are teary
I will trust you . This is earned.
I agree with Ardavan Farahvash as well!!
So I was looking for a star trek montage to put in my review of Star Trek Starfleet Command. Holy shit. This might be the best one Ive seen. Very well done! Much better than most others I see that try to do some weird stuff.

FANTASTIC!
Blasted though: no Lt. Saavik?

holy fuck this kicked ass
epic
Thanks bro
VERRY NIIICE :D
This tribute was amazing!! And I'm not just saying that, this was truly unforgettably beautiful:) thank you for making my day:D -3
Btw seeing gene rodenmberry at the end made me want to cry, well done
cause the borg didn't see them as big enough of a threat to send more than 1 cube at a time. and im sure there were other targets more interesting or easier to reach in large numbers
Wow! Really Good!! Thank you!!!
My question is if the Borg where serious about assimilating Earth, why didn't they send more than one ship at a time?
4:00 minutes of the Romulans lack of pointy ears as if he had fallen behind
nyenyenye :D
Your welcome:) and thank you as well:)
Honestly I love them both so...but I will agree....I'm more of a star trek fan now.
3:48 that african american guy standing next to Kirk was that Benjamin Sisko
Yep, from DS9 episode "Trials and Tribble-ations", season 5, episode 6. It's a good one.
The clip was modified from the TOS episode "Mirror, Mirror"
Why was the defiant not shown on its own like the rest of the ships?
Could have at least used the shot of it passing DS9.
He's in there, taken from ST6
Boldly Go....

Truly well done!
But, where's Dr. FUCKING McCoy???!!!
This is so amazing! Will you make another one after the next st movie comes out?
Good job on the video :) There wasn't a whole lot of Deep Space Nine in it though :/

Very well made, but just a little too much Voyager and not enough DS9 or Enterprise :P
Why there's so little of DS 9? Ardavan Farahvash, I agree with you.
There was more of "DS9" than "Enterprise". Nothing mentioned of "Star Trek Continues". So where's It. Saavik?
This is a tribute to all the Star trek shws of all time
Beautiful. A little too much time singling out Voyager... but still beautiful!
If they do make a new TV show, and I guess one day they will, it would have to compete against the gritty realism of Battlestar Galactica. Their old style of story telling just won't work any more.

Posted 2009...So, you were counting the 40th Anniversary of the END of the Original Series? (1966-69)
1964 is when Star Trek filmed it's first pilot. Abrams Star Trek I don't think is actual Star Trek as it's more T&A then substance. 7 of DD the beginning of the end for not just Star Trek but tv.
