I do the craft show thing, feel like I do OK. After working most of my life its hard to kick back. I have found myself making special tools to help in the shop. I do scrollsaw fret work and couple yrs back got a mini wood lathe. Life is good.....

Youd be surprised how fast 1000 trains run over some tracks. That can happen in one year easy. Old tracks have run for 50 years or more now. Just think how dense that grain is!!!

Best wood splitter is a wedged sledge on the end of a shaft affixed to a massive spring like a teeter totter.. I can't find the video but when you see it, you'll know

After several years the brain cuts a lot of it out, but those frequencies are gone forever. Worst is, the hearing loss is asymmetric but the tinnitus is the same in both ears..so confusing.. Mainly industrial noise damage, but i supplemented that with Koss headphones that were capable of concert level decibels, back in the 70s and 80s.
