@@robinallon7675 im not experienced with 3d printing, so i cant help as well as someone who has printed stuff before. but I'm assuming that you could use the solidify modifier and thicken the 3d model for printing, and then use another program to make supports. if you're printing for a fursuit I would recommend searching up a specific tutorial for that as I've seen a couple that I've wanted to follow myself ^^
For those who don't have the Single Vert add on: You can make a simple plane mesh, go to editing, select all vertices via the vert selection (aka the dots) - press m, click "to center" - this will make a single vertice, For those without the f2 add on - You can extrude like normal, and then just do the above with the vertice that shouldn't be there. Hopefulyl this helps some people who don't know what these add ons are or where to get them
Underated your so helpful. I genuinely hate how this could have been amazing if the dude used normal blender or told us how 5o install these and said his shorcut keys in the corner nah instead he said i dont want you to watch this isnt for beginners. Thank you❤❤❤
@@AviyaleTales I looked it up and found it within 30 seconds, it's an add-on that you don't have to install, it comes with Blender. You just have to turn it on, it's called "Add Mesh: Extra Objects" and a single vert will be available from Shift+A > Mesh. I think your tone about this was pretty ungrateful, they could easily have just made this a timelapse with no tips, but instead chose to take time out of their day to let people follow along. And, since you were already looking up how to make furries in Blender, surely you are capable of using a search function to see how to add a single vert (It was the first video that came up when I looked it up).
this really helped me alot with modeling characters for GMOD and VRchat, thanks Before this i barely knew how to add anything and after this I made a model that looked pretty nice
Thank you so so much for the tutorial!!! I've been looking so long for a tutorial like this and it's super easy to follow thru it :DD tysm once again!!
genuinely, thank you so so much. this improved my models by a whole lot. i always start with the same steps now and it just makes everything look so much more clean :D
I know it's not intended for beginners but here I am... :) I've only tried modelling by starting from an existing cube/sphere before, how do you create and link the first points around the eyes at 0:57 ? And at 2:10, how do you make the two mirrored parts connect to each other ? Thank you !
Hello for 0:57 : first off, you need the F2 addon go to edit, then preferences, then add-ons and in the search bar, type F2, only one result will come up check the box next to that result and install then refresh Now ! when you have 4 points, select the two you want to connect/link and it should work For 2:10 on the top left corner of the left window, you need to change the selection mode so that you can select an edge (before that, we were select points only) then you extrude a little bit then you add the mirror modifier
@@applejack4725 Hey its me again, I'm sorry I forgot to tell you how to connect the points for 0:57, you select the points and you press F Note that in video, they only selected one, so if possible try to select only one
So i could be wrong but what I did to follow along was press “E” with all edges selected to extrude. Then, instead of moving it (which will be what blender tries to do by default) you’ll hit S to scale it. This should replicate what was shown! Hopefully this helps anyone out who needs it?
This is exactly what i was looking for!! It's amazing. Thank you. Also, i would like a tutorial with a long nose and face like wolfs too. I thing the mouth and nose topology change a bit, isn't it?
2:20 - using 'F' in edit mode, having selected a single vertex, and after having the 'f2' addon installed. A single (mirrored) edge is created instead of a face. Uninstalling the addon makes the 'F' key have no functionality bound to it at all. Not sure what the issue is. EDIT: seems like the issue is the local topology. This is only happening with some vertices. This particular vertex is incident to 5 edges.
you have to download the F2 addon that's included by default with Blender, and then you can press F while selecting a corner to create a new face. hope this helps ^^"
HI! following this tutorial with blender 4.2 and the single vertex is hard to find.
