People saying that all of City's Legends are playing today, yet this list proves them wrong. Not only that, but they left out many greats, Frank Swift, Tony Book, Mike Summerbee (my favorite of all time). They say that City have no fans or a bunch of plastic fans (which aren't even the same thing, so they contradict eachother) when if you look at videos of old matches, you can see a sea of blues, even when they were in Division 2. No history? They have the 8th most major trophies of all teams in England, and many of them came before Sheikh. The 70s were the Golden years for City, but history isn't always success. City's history is full of highs and lows, but nowadays people think history is just the highs. I could go on and on, but these are only some of the reasons why I love my Manchester City.
Toa Ninjis I couldn’t agree more
City still holds the record for most attendance in league 1 season. If it was united, there would be no fans because all their fans are Plastic Glory Hunters
Hussain Bhura I’ve been a United fan since 07 and watched every match in the 2013/14 season with David moyes. I’ll proudly root for the Red Devils as everyone hops the citizens bandwagon.
spratz17 but nobody is doing that? Just because we are dominating the league now, retards from other clubs think that all our fans have just started supporting, no the reasons it seems we have more is that now we have something to brag about.
Kinkladze too
I wish that all the fans that say City has no history would do some research. It is a very long time since City was a top 6 team before the arab money. But City were really good from 1930 and 1970. Just because everyone thinks that having history starts from 1980. If you don't agree with me check 90+1 facts about Man City. Then maybe you realise that City has history. Sorry for my bad english but can't stand people that says that City have no history
Yeah i hate them too. I think they're just jealous
Well said
Yes but I think what city fans need to realize that you guys were an average/good club but in no way a massive one or a giant (which many city fans clams they were before the money). In reality before the oil money clubs like Huddersfield town had more league titles and you only had 2/3 FA cups. With the oil money cities were given a chance to buy their way to success, city were lucky the Arabic billionaires picked them, it could have been Everton, Newcastle or and other teams. 🤷🏻♂️
How many really “massive” teams are there? And do you simply equate it with trophies? Is it based on average crowds? Newcastle could be called massive based on attendance, but they are the only team in a big city, unlike Man City. No one will disagree Man Utd are massive. They have a world wide following partly based on the coincidence of world wide TV coverage of the Premier League and their emergence in the 90s. Apart from a spell late 50s to lay 60s they were ordinary. Liverpool could be described as massive due to their dominance of the 70s and 80s but that is a long time now. Are Leeds massive due the Revie era? Are Derby and Forest massive due to the Clough era? The list goes on...
City is just a pile of cash
You're missing Kompany - then you're set
He's in the honourable mentions, Lachie.
HITC Sevens Sorry lads! Missed that, love the channel x
Cheers Lachie.
Lachie Sholl Kompany is too good to be with these 7 😂, maybe 5
Lachie Sholl how about kinkladze
Being a City fan from 78/79 I would just like to add my favorite City player and at the time summed up Man City to me the great Dennis Tueart. I missed the best of Bell and seen him after bad injury, so Tueart has always been my hero alongside Owen, ASA, Barnes and Gerard Keegan. Being at the front of Kippax aged 10 and seeing Tueart was brilliant for me.👍🏾
You're very welcome.
👍🏾🙂👋🏾✨🙏🏾☀️💙 MCFC
KDB will go to the top of that list.
The man holding the bottom of the FA cup in 1956 is my great uncle
Football Vids mine also played for them he was David connor
Roy Clarke, I believe, saw him play many times in 1950s.
If I recall correctly Roy, in retirement became manager of
Man City, Social club, at Maine Road. In late 1960s.
Peace to all.
@@richardcook6080 Hello to you. I remember David Connor, saw David, play
few times for Man City, I recall he was a Wythenshawe lad ( I could be wrong )
Peace to all.
That’s so cool :)
Kinkladze didn't even get an honorable mention?
yeah thats not right :)
I wish i could See him play.
Kinky and Peter Barnes were out of this world 😉
@@robfielding100 “The Georgian Maradona”! Wish we could have played nowadays, with the right coaching, he might be the closest thing to the GOATs that City have.
@@robfielding100 kinky? Oh jeez
Kevin De Bruyne would surely be on this list now.
Probably, he’s one of if not the greatest playmaking midfielder the premier league Ahmad ever seen
But it was too early at the time
Silva is one of the finest and currently the best midfielder of Premier League
Yaya is the best
AGUEROOOOO!!!

Kompany in the honourable mentions, too soon for KDB, Kinkladze would make a top 20.

Not objective enough...
Surely Kinkladze.!!!!😢
rest peacefully our king, colin bell
Bert Trautmann Need to watch his movie this april
KDB❤❤❤
Where is Kompany?
In the honourable mentions.
Trautmann was the original Manuel Neuer. Had West Germany not had that stupid rule where no West german players playing outside of the country could not be selected for the national team, Trautmann would have won the World Cup.
Brilliant video can't argue with that really Colin bell has always been my city s best player but the team now has moved up a level and aguero Silva and toure are rightly the club's greatest players
King Colin
Mine (And I'm Not A Man City Fan So I Don't Know Much Since They Don't Really Have A History)
1 Aguero
2 Bell
3 David Silva
4 Yaya Toure
5 Trautmann
6 Summerbee
7 Kompany
No you just don't know history idiot. 8th most trophies of English football before sheikh but no history. Get lost.
Mancity is one of the most decorated teams in England. 2 league titles, 5 FA cups, 3 EFL cups , 1 Cups winners cup. ALL BEFORE 2008.
Idiot.

7 greatest Caribbean born players of all time
John Barnes, number 1
Stinga TV none hahhaha
This Nigga lol
No man. You just haven’t heard about any
Dwight Yorke
Caribbean BORN? Sterling.
Peter Doherty's name was pronounced Dore-aty as it was missing the c that would make it Docherty.
Do Everton they have a fantastic history with a number of players holding all time records in England
Everton are my second favourite English team, maybe I just like the blue side of places with a more known red team 😂
Billy meredith is such an underrated for younger generation
Ball should have a fifa Icon
do one on best irish players to play for Manchester United and city
Bert Fuckin Traumann! What a story!
Haven't they done a video like this before?
Now that it’s 2023 you gotta make another one of these with haaland
and i really wonder where is Giorgi Qinqladze the true legend of Man City :)
2:23 Steve Bloomer, Derby County and England legend as well as being England's first football hero may pose an arguement there regarding being the first superstar of British and English football to Meredith. As do Bob Crompton the great Blackburn Rovers and England right back and captain and Vivian Woodward, the great England, Spurs and Chelsea amateur centre-forward. All household names in the late Victorian and Edwardian eras of football in this country.
City legends only m8
Respect to him but still
Kinkladze? Kompany? Kevin De Bruyne? Tevez?
7 greatest Jamaican footballers of all time
Kompany should be 2nd.
Do Man U next

does this mean 'best players in terms of sheer quality ever at the club at the time they spent there' or 'best players in terms of performance for the club(goals, assists, etc.)?'
Combination of the two. Think 'greatest' has to be a mixture of talent, performance, longevity, influence, success, etc.
Founded in 2008
"We built Man City! We built Man City on dollar bills!"
And all the people who say they started supporting them in 2007 😂
We won our first trophy before 'Manchester United' was even formed
We gave you money to stop your club going into administration
We allowed you to play in our stadium during the war
Manchester City were formed in 1894
