Yes absolutely, best way to track activity via your phone.
Keep in mind Health sync is not free, you have to pay after the trial version it's also not local as far as I know your data is going through health sync servers....

how did you get true darkmode on google fit?
In the Googlr Fit App, if you go to settings, you need to select dark mode from theme under display, you will get the dark mode. Make sure you have updated the app to latest version.
@@AddictedBlogging hmm, I have had that for awhile it just isn't true amoled dark mode. More of a grey
@@upperleftexpeditions9507 Yes correct, now Zepp app has the true dark Amoled theme, Google will also follow. I will recommend you to try system default option in Google FIt and then turn on the dark mode in your phone to check.

Yes correct, although the trial version is there, and purchasing the app will be worth it.

How to get samsung health in dark mode?
Just Update the app to the latest version and enable the dark mode in your android device.

There may be some steps difference if you are comparing them, however this is minute and the approximate overall step count will be same
