With everything the legends go through, they are in the right to be against barry especially when it comes to timeline stuff.
Sara had no room to talk if Ray hadn't followed her in the season 2 premier she would have killed Damien Darhk in an effort to change the timeline and save her sister. She had him in her sights. @@StardustLegacyFighterHe should've already known since he's intelligent, but I suppose it was difficult for the writers to write something they're not.
It’s really unbelievable that the legends are gonna judge Barry when they have changed so much more than him. And Diggle really acted like Barry intentionally erased his daughter. It was very satisfying to see Oliver and Kara have Barry’s back.
@@deadpooldan9862 well it’s one thing to knowingly go through time multiple times and fuck up the timeline (again MULTIPLE TIMES which is something they joke about/mention a million times in their show) but when Barry does it to save his mother and fathers life, “oh Barry you can’t just go back and change things Barry”
@@christiantrent1030 yeah, but they didn’t do anything that had lasting consequences, Barry’s actions affected team Flash and Diggle, while the Legends always clean up their mess. Plus, by this point, they hadn’t royally messes up time like Barry did, that was later
@@deadpooldan9862 but it’s the fact that they were doing it seemingly on accident and on purpose and not giving a shit about it but when Barry did what he did they completely got super serious about it. My problem isn’t really “oh they did it so why is it wrong for him to do it” but more of a why did they clown around with time travel but get super harsh on Barry.
I feel that was due to rushed writing. The way the writers had Barry explain creating Flashpoint to the team in this moment made Barry look extremely selfish. Granted, Barry creating Flashpoint was selfish because he did it for himself to get his family back. Oliver said it best saying if he had Barry’s powers, he’d done the same thing, in the next scene with the two of them. Sorry - I got sidetracked. The writers left out several key factors: Reverse Flash, The Rival, Wally almost dying, having to watch Thawne kill his mother “again”. I feel it was rushed due to time restraints, but yes, I agree Dig’s response did make him seem like Barry did it on purpose - again - because of lack of information as to WHY Barry did all of this.

You know some characters has the right to be mad at Barry even if they weren't in his shoes but still had the rights , but the legend blaming is ridiculous their the last person to judge about messing up time specially Sara.
@@matiaspereira9382 agreed I don't mind anyone else outside the legends and maybe cisco for a bit cause i think he went to far i understand he lost his brother but dont make it like barry doenst know what a lost is. any other person blaming barry Is understandable since they weren't in his position which anyone would do in real life at first before thinking straight. But Sara and the legend specially should've kept their mouth shut this guy's are literally time screwers
Lex Bryant I agree Sara shouldn’t talk shit but I do get her point. She never went back in HER life to change significant shit like saving Laurel. However, it wasn’t because she was thinking about the timeline, she never did it because she has a bunch of people who travel with her in time to stop her. Barry lost both parents and when he finally got the one he had left, Zoom killed him. It was a lot of grief and with a bad judgment he went back in time. Is not like he did shit on purpose. I understand their right to he pissed but not to say “i would never”. The legends have a right to be angry but not to act as if they wouldn’t have done the same if they could travel in time alone
Considering they have the power to fix the damage Barry did, yeah. They really shouldn't complain since all it would take would be for them to fix it. That is their job after all. They make it sound like they can't fix what Barry did. But we all know that they can.
adam warren Oliver and Kara (and Iris predictably) stood by Barry when literally everyone else was treating him like shit. True friendship right there.
Even though Barry messed up “big” time, Cisco was in the wrong here. I understand having to let the team know everything that’s going on and changed with their lives - Cisco does have a point that Barry was getting ready to lead them into a war. But with that said, the team needed to have their minds set on only the task at hand. Barry forced to tell the team about Flashpoint only clouded their judgement. He needed to tell them on his own time, when the task was handled. Same with Caitlin being forced to tell the team about her powers, she needed to do that on her own time. Team Flash has made several mistakes throughout the years, but their strongest asset as a team is that they are a family. You can’t have clouded minds in the heed of battle.
And that was proven to be the wrong call when almost everyone practically walked into a trap because Cisco decided this was the right moment to have everyone on hate Barry wagon
Honestly, I could never hate or get that mad at Barry for what he did with Flashpoint. I’ve experienced personal trauma that’s not anywhere near as bad as Barry’s and yet they’ve been a number of days of the last few years where I was so messed up that I’d do the exact same thing he did or at least strongly consider it, even knowing the possible consequences
Anyone of them would’ve done the exact same thing hell Oliver is the most logical out of all of them and even he said he would have if given the chance .
Honestly Sara can't really talk, the only reason sara didn't go back and save her sister is because the legends stopped her from doing it and changed her mind. Barry, no one was there to stop him and him being super fast he could've done it even if they tried to stop him
Sara actually once had the chance to kill Darkh when they were in 1987, but she ended up stopping herself. I'm a 1st-time viewer so it's easier to point that out
What time do you think time to be mad at the person that killed your brother and didn’t decide to go back in time to save them because the person that went back in time is a hypocritical ignorant person?.
My question is, Barry created Flashpoint after the Legends went into the temporal zone. If I’m not mistaken, while you’re in the temporal zone, you’re not affected by changes to the timeline. So if Ray and Sarah know Diggle personally, shouldn’t they notice that Diggle had a son instead of a daughter. Unless his changes that Flashpoint caused affect the legends even in the temporal zone. The legends should still have memories of the other timeline.
They assumed the change was because of something they did. Because remember Dr. Stein also messed with the timeline prior to that which caused him to have a daughter.
This after a rewatch, but did they forget when EVERYONE was on board with Barry going back in time to save his mother in season 1? I get Cisco is upset, because it’s a family member. But he NEVER had the type of relationship with his brother that should make him THIS pissed. Even if the timeline changed, and they were closer, we never saw it. So after a rewatch, Cisco’s initial pain made sense, but by the time we got to the crossover, it was ridiculous.
Because they understand how Barry feels: Kara lost her friends, family and her planet right before her very eyes. And Oliver has lost his mother, father, best friend, and other people who were close to him.
Sara :why the fk would you DO THIS we try to fix the timeline hdhehshsh Future Sara : Lets break time and let other time demons out because instead of fixing time prison we should break it so we could kill the prisoner but now other prisoners escaped because I didn't know about the other monsters hehe hoho

Matias Pereira During the earlier seasons, Oliver rather keep secrets then trust his team. Whenever something he was hiding was about to be found out, he tried his best to avoid it. One time it almost costed him felicity when she first got the nano machine placed in her spine to help her walk again

Sara Lance giving Barry that lecture is fucking hilarious considering the Legends fuck up the timeline every season. It became a yearly thing. After this, I guess.
what really annoyed me about this scene and when barry told team flash is in season 1 he was told to go and save his mum when thawne offered him the chance now everyones pissed at him
apart from his parents dying so violently, facing ruthless, soul-less monsters like thawne and zoom are also the reason barry time travelled. he had his friends' partners die to save him, and then he saw zoom just killing 1000s of people for fun. now im not gonna try and defend him but almost every1 would do the same if they were in his position (ik i would)
I hated how Sarah acted so high and mighty. For one the only reason she didn't change the past is because someone stopped her, and two her own crew changed their own personal histories on more than one occasion if memory serves. She was just pissed off that no one stopped Barry because he can time travel naturally.
I mean, she got it going with a lot of gals in different timelines, but when Barry does it after enduring a lot of trauma and it's to save people she's Time travel police lol
The thing that pissed me off about this when I watched it years ago is that Cisco didn't do it because he thought the others had a right to know, he did it to spite Barry because iirc before the crossover, Cisco finds out his brother is dead due to Barry changing the past. Though he never takes into consideration that his brothers death had nothing to do with Barry's actions because it turned out Caitlin's powers had nothing to with Barry changing the Timeline. Even though Barry was about to lead them through an Alien war, Oliver told Barry, Jax, and Stein to wait until it was over before saying anything so they didn't become distracted by it. Digg was behaving as though Barry had killed his Kid. Sara had tried multiple times to save her sister. Ray compares 1 mistake to the amount the Legends have made through Time Travel. By spiting Barry in front of everyone. Cisco causes the very problem Oliver was trying to prevent.
@@Doctor_Logic at this point I can't believe Barry didn't kick Cisco out of the team. I sometimes believe Barry is too forgiving. He always does things I believe he shouldn't have done or never does things I believe he should've done
@@matiaspereira9382. All of them are like that. They should've done this/They shouldn't have done that. If this were S1 or S2. Barry and the rest of Team Flash would've kicked him off the team for the way he was behaving and putting Barry on the spot like that despite what they were about to go up against. Barry can be too forgiving at times, but the reason he's not getting as angry as he should is down to guilt due to Flashpoint. The only thing that redeems Cisco's actions is that he does the exact same thing as Barry during this crossover event. Plus, the fact that the message found by Jay and Martin from Future Barry is a warning about Savitar, not Barry himself.
This conversation could’ve gone on a completely different route if Barry tried to explain himself. Here, it appears he just saved his mother on a whim. Like he hadn’t suffered the loss of his dad, being betrayed by another mentor, and forced to see a man walk around with a similar face to his previously stated, dead father. I know it doesn’t fix what he’s done, killing Cisco’s bro, changing Digg’s daughter, and some more, but at least he tried to fix what he’s done. The Legends can shit talk about how they try to fix the timeline like they’re saints, but they’ve gone against history on multiple occasions. I suppose just because it doesn’t effect the time stream, what they did was okay. Plus, they haven’t suffered like Cisco and Digg who have real losses because of Barry. They have the right to be pissed, but Sara, who once tried changing the timeline for her sister, acting as though Barry was wrong, it just kinda pisses me off. Tho, maybe my view is too narrow. Maybe just because Barry is the protagonist, and I know his entire story, I feel more friendly towards him. I just kinda wished the writers could’ve written this scene better, rather than just sum it up as “I saved my mom, then I fixed it. Because of that, you’re lives have been altered” and cause some conflict for the sake of there being conflict.
Wait when did Sara try and change the timeline I have no recollection of that I have watched all seasons of The Flash, Arrow and Dc legends of tomorrow and don't remember please tell me when she tried
@@Thebridgeplayer Asked Rip to let her go back and save her sister, then every time Darhk was in the picture she wanted to/tried to kill him so he wouldnt be alive in the future to kill her sister. That was almost the entirety of season 2 of Legends.

it definitely affects the time stream, just not major enough changes that affect the course of history, there were 100% alot of peoples lives who were affected but they were just changes that theyd probably never even know about such as things like having a boy not a girl etc but because it doesnt affect events big enough the current time will remain the same other than maybe slight changes to family trees and stuff, barrys changes were honestly just like that, dont get me wrong diggle and cisco have a right to be upset but when he went back and fixed the timeline the slight changes didnt affect anything in the grand scheme of things and had they have never known about it, the timeline wouldve remained on track
Even though it sucks that everyone blamed Barry, it would’ve been worse if they all went and got mind controlled. Since Barry and Oliver stayed back, they had to fight their friends and that helped save the world
Barry did know that time travel had risks and messed with time, he just didn’t know HOW much it messed with time, not till after Flashpoint, which is why he tries to not travel back in time if he can avoid it, he only does it for very important reasons
Looking back at this 2:02 "all those aberrations we spent the last eight months traveling through time trying to correct" that would have been a better cross over or a cool hint to this one, there back in time and see some ripple affect from Flashpoint would have been cool to me, Flash always traveling through time and Legends of Tomorrow being time travelers should have taken advantage of that
Diggle’s acting in this scene breaks my heart. Makes me feel if I woke up one day and was told in a previous existence I had a daughter but now I have no children. That would genuinely mess me up
Oliver having barry's back is so good even though his life wasn't changed and kara omg she still trusts barry and her life wasn't changed and she is from another earth and "still" doesn't know barry too well if u know what I mean but knows that he is good enough to be trusted ❤
To be fair, Barry lost both his parents that day. His mom lost her life, and his dad lost his freedom. If I remember, none of Sara's relatives were being blamed for her sister's murder; so who is she to compare what both of them would do
My hot take; Flashpoint was Cisco and the rest's doing. Okay, Barry needed to calm down before dealing with Zoom, but tranqing him and stuffing him in a cell because he wouldn't go along with what they wanted? That's the doubt that wasn't there the first time he went back to when his mother was killed. The life he had didn't look so rosy all of a sudden knowing they were willing to do that. Surprised they didn't make more of that really.
Matias Pereira It was Barry’s fault if he didn’t create flashpoint his brother would still be alive I know his dad was just killed in front of him but Barry could have stopped and thought “hey if I go back in time and save my mom I might make everybody else’s lives just as worse as mine before flashpoint like idk have your mom or dad killed!”
Danger! Do you forget when EVERYONE was on board with Barry going back in time to save his mother in season 1? I get Cisco is upset, because it’s a family member. Sara shouldn’t even be talking, she should be dead rn but no they brought her back to life with the Lazarus pit… what’s worse intentionally resurrecting someone or unintentionally changing the timeline? I’ll go with resurrecting people lmao 🤣
Sarah knows full well that she wanted to save Laurel and would've done it if Rip didnt stop her from changing the timeline. She hasn't attempted it after Rip left the legends but she's acting like she's never attempted it with or without resistance Also, it's always confused me how they were completely fine with him changing the timeline in season 1 but once he does it in season 2, it's not justified. Maybe there were circumstances in season 1 that made people more willing to accept his decision but I can't remember those circumstances if they existed
As much as I understand why Cisco and Dig being pissed, Cisco definitely screwed up here cuz it’s literally not the time to split the team up and he just couldn’t wait until the war is over. Worse part being the legends that does just as much shit if not more than Barry acting like they’re saint that have all the right to be pissed at Barry that did it once. Writers really got or should get underpaid for this one.
The way it's explained is that even though Barry saving his mother and creating a new time after preventing himself from doing is that you how when a speedster breaks the sound barrier, they create a Sonic boom. When a speedster goes back in time, they create a time boom. The boom itself creates ripples in time changing other events. So, as said even though they don't directly correlate, certain events will change, even if you overwrite them. Basically, this is why you don't fuck with time
Sara was awfully quick to pass judgment. She got her time travel with a instruction manual in Gideon and rip. Barry got his time travel with a supervillain. Ofcourse Barry didn't know what could happen and why not to do it
Because he HAD a child. One now he will never get to know, and het once loved with all his heart. He loves the new one just as much, but accident or not it's a tough thing to accept
I understand everyone else’s anger, but the legends AKA Sara shouldn’t be angry, because her and Barry are kinda in the same boat when it comes down to time traveling
The man that went back in time didn’t think about the consequences that led to someone having a son instead of a daughter or a daughter side of a son. I don’t know. His best friend’s brother died?..VERUS people that go back in time to make sure the course goes straight to make sure the earth doesn’t come hell hmmm
1:49 excuse me, if i remember correctly Sarah tried to change the timeline herself to bring her sister back. You have no right to judge Barry this much, if anything you should've empathised with him the most, such a hypocrite
I get cisco was mad but what he did was selfish it wasn’t just barry’s well being at stake it was the teams focus now they’re unhinged cisco put the team at risk
Nah I love Oliver because even tho he understands how the others feel he’s on Barry’s side because if he had the power he would have saved his loved ones too
Oliver knew, he would do the same as Barry did, that is called "a human mistake", which all could do, but they don't want to understood that. Barry had his own reason, Oliver just understood what Barry wanted to do 'in a good way' and Oliver won't leave Barry alone. Good...no...Best Friend won't leave you!
it would've helped a bit if barry just told them that his dad was murdered in the same house where HIS mom was murdered and decided he had enough and went back in time to save his mom
That’s literally what happened after this scene with Oliver he said he understood why he did it and if he was in his choose he would do it without any hesitation
sarah saying that bullshit about her sister and how she doesnt bring her back bc of the consequences is so dumb she tried like multiple times and she would've if her team didnt stop her
Funny enough this wasn't about Barry screwing up with the timeline (again) it was regarding savitar but they made it look like future Barry is talking about current flash not future evil barry
What bugs me about this the most is no one stops to think what Barry had to do in order to erased flashpoint and how he had to let his most hated enemy kill his mother.
Savitar said that the team "shunned" or ignore him, is it because of the voice recording that said he cant be trusted, and team flash is just doing whatever barry said?
he did do something wtong but it wasn't on purpose 💯 he just wasn't thinking straight at the time , i mean he literally lost both of his parents and had to wash his mom die twice before , n cisco was annoying asf in this season like u did shit too and barry forgave u everytime but when he do something u act like a bitch
They should have been more understanding than that and not be too quick to judge cos they are not the only ones to lose pple they care about. They were just being irrational
even if its to save Ralph because of it he did lots of mistakes too far enough Barry has more on his plate post or pre or Reversal flashpoint it was not fair to be open to tell every one he is the one with a baggage of mourning a friend of his died his family sacrificed there lives no one cares but super girl can only trust him if Marley from glee is still in there sining Every time and outcast
1:48 i would've yelled to her saying "i do whatever i want! I just wanted to save my mother so shut up because you have no stupid idea of how much i suffered!"
I know this episode is old but this right here other than Kara Oliver and Iris, the way Barry was treated I would not have blamed him if he would have went savitar right there especially towards Cisco. Bunch of self righteous d bags. Okay I I understands diggles anger of course but for the legends hell no.
To this day, I get annoyed with how people treated Barry here. Cisco and Diggle had their reason but the Legends? Bro, the Legends are such hypocrites. They literally killed the TIMEKEEPERS (Yes I know they were kinda sus anyway). They fucked with time plenty of times. Sara tried to kill Damian Dark many times in the past and would have done so if not for her teammates. Hell, they lecture Barry about changing the past and how they only do so for aberrations. But the biggest thing is that Barry's mom's death IS and aberration. Reverse Flash literally had to go back in time to do it! So why doesn't Barry have the right to go back and correct that? What makes her death such a solid rule as if that was supposed to happen?
Actually diggle have no reason it's not like he was left whitout a child. He still has a child so what is he mad that Barry changed his daughter's gender to male. He won't even know. I really hate that Barry didn't insult them all and be like I don't care you would do the very same thing you are getting mad at me because I decided I wanted to have some to be happy again you get mad at me my father just died and if I get to change the life of someone I love I will I don't give a fuck about you all hypocrites.
It would make better sense to leave Digg behind than 2 of your best fighters. Digg had a daughter that's now your son. All you know it's raising your son and you don't recall it any different. Why are you so upset? If someone I knew could time travel and told me that I had daughters before he left but all I know is the joy of raising my sons, I would be like, "wow, that's crazy".

Diggle’s acting in this scene is some of his best in the entire show.
Diggle is such an idiot. But the actor did a great job
It’s amazing how John makes it seem like Barry intentionally erased his kid from existence.
He's a selfish idiot

Legends of To-meow-meow, says otherwise
I think they like new in personally but I don’t think they were up-to-date on Mike’s personal life but you’re right that is a pothole
The timeline was changed after they went to 1942 and were stranded in the past. Also, they just got here. They wouldn't have seen either kid
They assumed the change was because of something they did. Because remember Dr. Stein also messed with the timeline prior to that which caused him to have a daughter.
Also Barry’s time shenanigans seem to work slightly differently and cause diff problems then the legends time stuff
This after a rewatch, but did they forget when EVERYONE was on board with Barry going back in time to save his mother in season 1? I get Cisco is upset, because it’s a family member. 1:10 Cisco acts like he dosent know what’s going on like the other dosent know what Barry’s bout to tell them
The thing that pissed me off about this when I watched it years ago is that Cisco didn't do it because he thought the others had a right to know, he did it to spite Barry because iirc before the crossover, Cisco finds out his brother is dead due to Barry changing the past. Though he never takes into consideration that his brothers death had nothing to do with Barry's actions because it turned out Caitlin's powers had nothing to with Barry changing the Timeline.

If this were S1 or S2.
Because of that, you’re lives have been altered” and cause some conflict for the sake of there being conflict.

or ignore him, is it because of the voice recording that said he cant be trusted, and team flash is just doing whatever barry said?
Barry made a mistake but he already paid the price. He had to ask thawne kill his mother in order to fix everything. This is enough for him
Barry actually did nothing wrong considering he was actually correcting the actions of a time traveller. The legends should be for this.
he did do something wtong but it wasn't on purpose 💯 he just wasn't thinking straight at the time , i mean he literally lost both of his parents and had to wash his mom die twice before , n cisco was annoying asf in this season like u did shit too and barry forgave u everytime but when he do something u act like a bitch
exactly, too many plot holes

You'd think Sara and ray of all people would be more sympathetic since they know what its like to lose loved ones violently
They should have been more understanding than that and not be too quick to judge cos they are not the only ones to lose pple they care about. They were just being irrational
Yeah but even if they wanted to they did not go back in time and screw stuff up
They were also emotional because they wanted to bring their dead ones too.
even if its to save Ralph because of it he did lots of mistakes too far enough Barry has more on his plate post or pre or Reversal flashpoint it was not fair to be open to tell every one he is the one with a baggage of mourning a friend of his died his family sacrificed there lives no one cares but super girl can only trust him if Marley from glee is still in there sining Every time and outcast
to him
Ummm not ralph it was his mom
1:48 i would've yelled to her saying "i do whatever i want! I just wanted to save my mother so shut up because you have no stupid idea of how much i suffered!"
sara knows exactly how it feels.

I really hate that Barry didn't insult them all and be like I don't care you would do the very same thing you are getting mad at me because I decided I wanted to have some to be happy again you get mad at me my father just died and
if I get to change the life of someone I love I will I don't give a fuck about you all hypocrites.
True. Nora Allen's death was NEVER supposed to happen and was NEVER a fixed point originally.
